Chapter 5- someone's gonna die

I arrived home and saw my mum making dinner and Bingo helping her.

" Hey sweetie " Mum said as she prepared the salad " I'm sorry I couldn't make it, I wanted to but I was busy with work and I didn't expect to pick you up that early " She said.

" It's ok mum, I'm fine " I said as I went upstairs to take a shower.

After showering I went to my room and sat on my bed, I brought out my phone, I wanted to text my BFF Chloe.

BlueyWhat are you doing

ChloeNothing, but I guess you're getting ready for your date.

BlueyYeah, anyway I'm still worried about Indy.

ChloeYeah she was acting strange but maybe it's just nothing.

BlueyYeah, you're probably right.

ChloeSorry, gotta go, dinner is ready bye.

I checked my texts and saw that Mackenzie texted me.

Bingo walked into my room." Dinner's ready " She paused and looked at me staring at my phone. " For real though, if you're texting Mackenzie right now, I will kill you " She said.

" How did you know I'm texting Mackenzie? " I asked.

" I could hear you giggling all the way from my room " she said.

" For all you know, I could be texting anyone " I said.

" Yeah anyone " she said sarcastically " everyone in the whole Chunky chimp universe knows that you're in love with Mackenzie " She said.

" Shut up, I'm not in love with him, we're just friends " I said as I started to blush.

" Yeah that's what they all say " She said.

" You know what, get out, I didn't even invite you here so leave " I said as I pushed her out of my room.

I later went downstairs for dinner.

" So kiddo, how was school today " Dad asked

" It was awesome, I love Big school " I said excitedly.

" I told you it'll be fine " mum said.

" I saw most of my friends like Mackenzie- " I got interrupted.

" Of course you'll say his name first " she said while eating her salad.

" Shut up Bingo " I snapped at her.

" Wait what's going on, who's Mackenzie? " Dad asked.

" No one, just one of my friends " I said trying to end the conversation.

" Mackenzie is the guy that Bluey is in love with " Bingo yelled.

" BINGO! " I yelled back.

" Wait up, Bluey Heeler what Bingo is saying is it true? " Dad asked

" are you in love with someone? " Mum asked.

" No Bingo's just saying rubbish " I said

" Well ok " Mum said.

I can't let my parents find out I'm going on a date with Mackenzie or else they'll say I'm too young to go on dates.

After dinner I went to take another shower then went back to my room.

I checked my phone and saw a text from an unknown number.

UnknownI know everything about you Bluey Heeler. I know where you live, where you go to school where all your friends live, where your parents work. I even know that you took a public bus home today cuz the bus driver couldn't make it. If you don't do exactly what I say then I guess SOMEONE'S GONNA DIE.

BlueyOh, Jean luc if this is a joke stop it right now.
