Chapter 14: CEDRIC NO!

*SHITTY SHORT CHAPTER I APOLOGIZE!! I'M NOT GOOD AT THIS!!!*

(Cecelia's Pov) *A FEW HOURS LATER*

After a while of confusion and havin friends bein angry with one another. Apparently someone was usin Polyjuice potion to disguise them as our Professor Mad Eye Moody who put Harry's name in the Goblet of Fire.

Ron and Hermione were stuck together like glue and kept their distance from Harry while and me and Oliver on the other hand knew it wasn't his fault so we stuck by him because he was my friend...I tried to help the best I could but my anxiety was all over the place so I really couldn't.

Oliver never left my side because of my anxiety which was sweet of him. After a while we all gathered under the waiting tent that was built for the first task. The first task was to receive a dragon egg from a real life dragon that was protectin the egg. The champions were in another tent talkin one on one to figure out how to capture said Dragon Egg.

When the task begun, Ceddy was first, which made my heart race anxiously because these dragons were HUGE. Cedric looked confident thought as he tackled the task first against a Dragon. I watched intently while grippin Ollie's hand for comfort. Cedric used a spell to change a rock into a dog to distract the dragon.

However, he was partially successful; the dragon took the bait, and Cedric went for the Golden Egg. But halfway through, the dragon turned its attention back to Cedric, and burned his face. I screamed in fear and covered my face with fear which made Oliver rub my back comfortly.

People cheered however which made me open my eyes seein, Cedric retrieved the egg and passed the task. I let out a sigh in relief as he looked proud despite the small burns on his face. Next was Fleur then Viktor and Harry which durin the other 2 I went to check on Ced and hugged him tightly like his life depended on it.

I literally cried in his shoulder as he told me he was okay but I was still scared anyways because he could've died and I don't think my heart could handle it. After that I went back and sat by Oliver as it was Harry's turn...I was rootin for him too despite him and Cedric playin for Hogwarts but I didn't want either to die.

When it was Harry's turn, he drew the fiercest of them all, the Hungarian Horntail. He used the Accio spell to bring his firebolt to him and maneuvered past the dragon to retrieve his egg. I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time as I felt like I couldn't breathe durin the whole thing.

Though the Dragon got him a few times and slashed him on the shoulder, which took off points, he was successful and captured the egg which made everyone clap and cheer. After the First Task, Harry and Viktor were tied for first place, with Cedric in second, and Fleur in third.

The champions were told that the Golden Egg they retrieved contained a clue on how to pass the Second Task. Without it, they had little chance of succeeding...this was not makin my anxiety any better...

After that we had a while before the next task. Ced was in the Hospital Wing gettin his burns all fixed it. I immediately went there with Oliver still by my side. I ran to the Hospital wing seein him on the bed while Madam Pomfrey fixed up his burns.

I let out a sigh in relief "Cedric Diggory you scare me like that again I'm goin to kill ya" I said, he chuckled softly as he stood up and hugged me tightly "I'm fine sis, nothin I can't handle" he said, I frowned "I don't care Ceddy you're not allowed to die on me" I said,

He smiled softly and cupped my cheeks "I won't. I promise" He said, I frowned and hugged him tightly "I'm just glad you're okay" I said, he smiled softly and kissed my head "Don't worry sis" he said, I just nodded as we all rested for a while until the second task...

(A FEW HOURS LATER)

After a while it was time for the second task. The Second Task would involve the Champions swimming into the to retrieve something that had been stolen from each of them. We all headed to the Black Lake and waited for the instructions.

All four Champions assembled on the shore of the lake and were told that they had 1 hour to retrieve that which had been stolen from them from the 's village, and return. I was a little confused on what that meant and tried to figure it out, I also didn't know how they would all hold their breathes under the water for that long but me forgettin that this is a wizard competitions I'm sure there's spells that makes it so you can breathe under water.

The Champions entered the water which we didn't really see what was goin on. Harry had to eat the gillyweed, which gave him gills to breathe underwater, webbed hands and feet to allow him to swim faster. Both Fleur and Cedric utilized the Bubble-Head Charm, while partially himself into a shark.

We all had no knowledge of what was happening during the task until at least one champion returned, but we were able to monitor time remaining by observing a provided clock. I was confused because I didn't see Ron or Hermione anywhere which made me worried as I finally pieced the puzzle together which knocked the breath out of me.

I squeezed Oliver's hand tightly "What's wrong?" he asked, "Save something that was stolen from you...They meant someone. Our friends are tied under the water probably close to drownin for all I know...what kind of fuckin tournament is this where they risk other people's lives?" I asked harshly.

Oliver held me in his chest "I don't know love but I'm sure they're okay. Just deep breaths okay. They'll be okay" He reassured, I crossed my arms and huffed "Who the fuck thought that this was okay?" I mumbled. Oliver kissed my head which made sigh as Cedric came up first with his girlfriend he had mentioned Cho Chang from Ravenclaw.

Viktor came second with Hermione which was a shock for some reason which I guess they both fancy each other. Harry was next with Ron and Fleur's younger sister since she didn't get to her in time so she came in forth. I quickly ran up to them and hugged them all tightly.

Ron had said that none of them had ever been in real danger and that he should have just rescued him and got back as quickly as possible which made me sigh a bit in relief but never stop huggin them.

After that Cedric scored 47 points, Harry scored 45 points, Viktor earned 40 points, and Fleur came last with 35 points. After the first two tasks, Harry and Cedric were tied for first place, with Viktor second, and Fleur third...Just one more task to go then all of this will be fuckin over.

After that task everyone relaxed for a while and got into dry clothes. Apparently I didn't know Dad was here until I saw him in the Great Hall talkin with the Professor's. I gasped a bit loudly which caught his attention "Daddy!" I shouted as I ran up to him and hugged him.

He laughed and hugged me tightly "Oh my darlin Cecelia. I missed ya so much love" he said, I just smiled "I missed ya too. How are you? How's mum?" I asked, he chuckled "I'm good. We're both good how about you?" he asked, I smiled softly and looked at Ollie who slowly approached us "I'm okay. Daddy this is Oliver Wood my boyfriend, Ollie this is my father" I said,

My father looked at Oliver and smiled softly "So you're the boy my daughter talks so much about" He said, I blushed shyly which made Oliver look at me and chuckle "must be. Nice ta met ya Mr. Diggory" He said as they shook hands, my father nodded "Likewise" he said,

I smiled softly "When did you get here?" I asked, "A while ago. I've been scopin out the competition" He said, I nodded "why didn't you tell me you were comin?" I asked, he chuckled "Sorry Love. Got caught up with stuff from the ministry" He said, I Just nodded "How are you likin the Tournament?" he asked,

I shook my head "I hate it. I mean it's cool and all but it's makin me too anxious especially since Harry and Cedric are apart of it" I said, my father nodded and kissed my head "it's okay Love" He said, I just nodded "Anyways I gotta go get things set up for the last task. I'll see ya later love" he said, I just smiled and nodded as he headed out to do whatever as me and Oliver relaxed for a while until the last task...It's been a longgggg day...I'm gonna need a longggggg sleep after this...

(A Few Hours Later)

During the last task, we all gathered at the Quidditch Pitch where the Champions had to navigate through a maze through the Quidditch pitch to receive the Triwizard Cup. Since Harry and Ceddy were tied, they got to go in first and all I know is there's not good things in there...

I was in a seat between Oliver and my father. No one couldn't see what was goin on but we could hear other people scream which made my heart raced anxiously as I held onto my father and Oliver's arms. My stomach churned as people cheered cause Cedric and Harry were neck in neck and while Harry is my friend, I was still rooting for my brother...But they seemed to be taking longer than expected which didn't sit well with me.

My hands trembled which made Ollie notice "Hey. Are ya okay?" He asked and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. I looked at him "I-I don't know...I-I don't have a good feeling Ollie" I said, he just kissed my head "It's okay" he whispered, I just nodded and waited for all of this to be over...

(A While Later. Not Addin Voldemort Sorry!)

For what seemed like hours, suddenly Harry and Cedric were the only ones who made it back but...Harry was crying? I was confused as why Cedric's body was on the floor. The cheering stopped and everyone was now confused and concerned. Dumbledore walked up to Harry who choked on sobs while holdin my brothers body...his dead...lifeless body..."he told me to bring his body back. I couldn't leave him there, I couldn't" I could barely hear him say.

I suddenly felt my world stop turning as me and my father pushed past people and ran down the bleachers and over to Harry...and that's when my world ended and my heart shattered...Harry was crying over Cedric...He was dead...my brother was dead...

My father fell to the floor and put his head on his chest "THAT'S MY SON! THAT'S MY BOY!" He shouted with hurt as tears streamed down his face. I suddenly couldn't hear anything or anyone around me...I just froze...I watched as Harry and my father cry and everyone else frown sympathetically...but they don't know my brother like me...they don't know him so how dare they feel bad when no one knows us.

I felt my father grab my hand which snapped me back to reality as I looked down at my brother's dirty and bloody face and lifeless body...I suddenly had the urge to scream as I fell to the ground and screamed as loud as I could. I covered my ears and screamed as tears streamed down my face.

Oliver ran down and held me in his arms as I choked on sobs "CEDDY NOO! DON'T LEAVE ME PLEASE! PLEASE! NO NO NO NO YOU PROMISED ME YOU PROMISED ME YOU WOULDN'T LEAVE ME!!" I shouted in agony and disbelief as Oliver held me in his arms and rocked me back and forth. Harry continued to cry as my father held Cedric's lifeless body and rocked him back and forth. I trembled and sobbed in Oliver's arms as he rubbed my head and back trying to calm me down but I couldn't stop crying...

My brother was dead...he was gone and I'm never going to see him ever again...I can't lose the only person who I've looked up to as a child, who loved me, protected me and took care of me everytime we went to muggle school and who would never give up on me and comfort me when I was sad or scared...and now he's gone...and I don't think I can cope...I feel like I'm never going to be happy again...I can't...I can't...
