Chapter 13: The Triwizard Tournament?

(Cecelia's Pov)

The next day I fluttered my eyes open to the sun shinin through my dorm room windows. I had a hard time sleepin due to this Triwizard Tournament and for some reason it left a knot on my stomach and I don't know why...probably because this was a big thing apparently but it happenin now when I arrive I guess it's just my nerves and anxiety since it is a bit thing...but Cedric would also be participatin in it and I guess I was a little scared because I didn't want to lose him but I got some sleep so that's all that matters huh?

Anyways at least school was put off because of this so I could sleep more if I wanted to but knowin me I can't and I really didn't want to miss anything important from Dumbledore about today. I sighed as I sat up and rubbed my face tiredly.

I hopped out of bed stretchin and yawnin and hopped out of my pj's and into nice black jeans with a long black cropped top that showed a bit of skin but I wrapped my robes around me, slid on my shoes, brushed my hair and headed out of my dorms and down to the common room seein Cedric like always talkin with some other Hufflepuff's who were tellin him Good luck today.

He looked at me and smiled as he came up to me and hugged me "mornin sis" he said, I smiled "Mornin Ceddy" I said, "you excited for today" He said, I giggled "only you seem to be Ced" I said, he chuckled "I'm going to crush it sis just you wait" He said, I nodded "Just don't die please" I said anxiously,

Cedric smiled softly as he cupped my cheeks and kissed my head "I'll be careful. I promise" He said, I just nodded and took a deep breath as we headed out of the common room and to the Great Hall for breakfast. We saw the others and smile as we sat by them and grabbed some breakfast.

Dumbledore stepped forward to his podium and announced that the students from Durmstang Institute and Beauxbaton Academy of Magic would be arrivin later today and then the student from all 3 schools picks whoever is competing and puts their name in the Goblet of Fire and then the competitions would be starting tomorrow morning.

So today everyone would just be relaxing and preparing for the new school's arrival tonight, honestly this all made my head hurt and made it hard to think as my stomach was all tied up in knots so I pushed my plate away and sighed "you okay love?" Oliver asked, I smiled softly and nodded "I'm just gonna get some air" I said as I got up from my table and walked outside lettin out shaky breaths.

I sat by a tree and sighed as my brain spiraled about this week...I had no idea what Cedric was in for nor did I have a good feelin about any of it. I saw Oliver run up to me and sit beside me which made me smile softly "what's wrong love?" he asked, I sighed and rubbed my face a bit "this is all too overwhelmin and I'm not sure what to do" I said,

Oliver nodded "Yea, this is all a big thing love and since it's yer first year here I bet it's overwhelmin, but don't worry love I'll be by yer side the entire time okay?" He asked wrappin his arm around my shoulder. I smiled softly and nodded as I wrapped my arms around his torso which made him smile and kiss my head "let's just relax for today huh? Calm those nerves of yers?" He asked, I just nodded "I didn't get much sleep so that works" I said,

Oliver chuckled "come on. I'll start a fire in the Gryffindor Common Room and we can relax on the couch yea?" He suggested, I smiled and nodded as we got up and headed to the Gryffindor Common room. When we got there, thankfully no one was there. I sat on the couch as Oliver started up a nice warm fire since it was a bit chilly outside since it's also October afterall.

Oliver sat next to me and opened his arms up which made me smile as I sat on his lap and lied my head on his shoulder which made him smile and wrap his arms around me and rubbed my head and back or ran his fingers through my hair which was soothing that I could honestly fall back asleep.

I yawned a bit and sighed which made Oliver chuckle "sleep if ya want love, I'm not goin anywhere" He whispered, I just smiled softly and nodded as he kissed my head which made me smile as I snuggled against him and soon enough fell back asleep.

(A Few Hours Later)

I fluttered my eyes open to someone shakin my shoulders, I groaned and cuddled further into Oliver who chuckled softly "Come on love. It's time to wake up. We have ta go to the common room to greet the other students joinin the Tournament today" Oliver cooed, I groaned and fluttered my eyes open not only seein that I'm still on Oliver's lap but it seems like the others are gettin a kick out of this as they were smirkin like the little gits they are.

I groaned "Fuck off" I stated and covered my face with embarrassment, everyone chuckled softly "Jesus how do you wake up next to that Oliver?" Ron asked, I groaned "Ronald Weasley, I am not afraid to get up and beat your arse" I stated, he chuckled "you sure about that?" he teased, I smirked as I got off Oliver and started chasin him around the common room while smackin him which made everyone laugh a bit "okay, Okay! Okay! I'm sorry! Oliver, Control your menace of a girlfriend!" Ron shouted,

Oliver managed to wrap his arms around my waist and pull me back down on his lap. I growled at Ron who gulped and hid behind Hermione who rolled her eyes "fuck with me again Ronald and I'll make you wish you were never born" I threatened, he squeaked as I sighed and snuggled against Oliver again who chuckled "since when do you Hufflepuff's get so harsh?" Harry asked,

I rubbed my face tiredly and yawned "Try bein Cedric's sister who's just as competitive as he is, I am not a mornin person nor a nice one if I'm woken up, had little to no sleep or if my anxiety is high which I have all of those right now so the last thing either of you wanna do is mess with me" I stated angrily, Oliver kissed my cheek to calm me down which made me huff "Relax Love" he said softly which made me pout because he knew I couldn't be mad at him.

He grabbed my chin and made me look into his beautiful brown eyes "Just breathe love" He whispered and took a few deep breaths which made me take a shaky breath and do the same. I put my hands on his chest listenin to his steady heartrate and closed my eyes feelin his heartbeat against my hand. Oliver kissed my head and pressed his forehead against mine "that's it love" he whispered, I smiled softly and fluttered my eyes open and looked up at him.

He smiled softly and brushed a strand of hair out of my face "better?" he asked, I just smiled softly and nodded "Come on, we're gonna be late for introductions" Hermione said, I sighed and nodded as I hopped off Oliver's lap and stretched and yawned a bit. Oliver smiled and intertwined his fingers with mine which mad me blush and smile we headed down to the Great Hall for lunch and greetings of the other schools.

When we got to the Great Hall, I saw with the others as Cedric came and sat by me. He kissed my head which made me smile softly as Dumbledore explained more stuff about the Tournament. Music began to play as the Great Hall doors opened to Woman dancing in from one Academy, then the men comin in from the other Academy.

All the loud music and just people in general made my heart race and stomach churn anxiously. I squeezed Oliver's hand which made him kiss the back of my hand softly and kiss my head "yer okay" he whispered and held me close to him which made me smile softly and nod.

After the introductions were made and we got introduced to everyone, they all sat down at an empty table to eat lunch. Dumbledore announced that tomorrow names would be thrown in the Goblet of Fire and then starting that the evening, the tasks would be begin.

I felt too anxious to eat as the food made me nauseous as I hid my face in Ollie's chest "my stomach hurts Ollie" I whispered, he sighed and rubbed my back "it's just yer nerves love. Eat something small then we can go back to the common room okay?" he asked,

I sighed a bit and nodded as I ate something small than sighed feelin like I was gonna vomit, "Had enough?" Oliver asked, I pouted and nodded which made him kiss my head "alright. Come on then" he said as we hopped out of our seats "where you two goin?" Ced asked, "this is too overwhelmin Ceddy, I'm goin to get some fresh air" I said,

He just nodded and kissed my head "Feel better sis" he said, I just nodded as me and Oliver headed out of the Great Hall "What do ya wanna do Love?" he asked, "Ice Skatin always calms my nerves" I said, he chuckled and nodded as we headed up to the Hufflepuff house so I could grab my skates, Ipod and ribbons. I even let Snowflake come which made me giggle.

Oliver was confused "What's with the ribbons?" he asked, I giggled, "you'll see" I said, Snowflake started to fly around which made me giggle. Oliver chuckled and shook his head as we headed to the black lake. I made sure it was frozen over, slid on my skates and hopped on the ice.

I played music through my ipod and started to skate around. I swung my ribbons besides me and spun in circles which made Oliver's eyes widen a bit. I giggled and smiled and continued to skate and dance around with my ribbons while singin and it instantly calmed my nerves.

When I finished, I panted breathlessly and skated towards Oliver. He wrapped his arms around my waist and caught me which made us chuckle a little. Oliver pressed his forehead against mine which made me smile as I wrapped my arms around his neck "so flawless my love" He whispered,

I blushed and smiled softly "t-thank you" I whispered, he smiled and kissed my forehead "Feelin better?" he asked, I smiled and nodded which made him smile and rub his nose against mine which made me giggle and scrunch up my nose a bit, he chuckled softly "Good" he said, I just nodded as me and the others spent the rest of the day together while Dumbledore and the professors got ready for the Triwizard Tournament.

(THE NEXT DAY)

Durin the next mornin, we all got up and had breakfast like any other day but knowin that the Tournament was today had my stomach all in knots because I had no idea what to expect and knowin Cedric was a part of said Tournament I'm still so anxious and a mess and it was really frustratin.

Anyways, I got up fairly early in the mornin probably just cause from all of this. I really didn't feel well as I was really nauseous and felt like I could vomit at any moment even though there was little to no food in me but hey...anxiety is a piece of shit huh?

I decided to get some air with Snowflake because why not and maybe just bein outside will help my nerves because it's not helpin when everyone talks about it and a lot of gossip goes around. So me and Snowflake headed out of the castle and to my favorite spot underneath a tree.

I heard chuckling from around me which made me groan as I peeked through my hands seein Oliver leanin against the tree I was lyin by.

I pouted "How long have you been there?" I asked, he smirked "Long enough. You sing like an angel my love" He said, I blushed and smiled as I covered my face again. Oliver chuckled as I heard shufflin. I felt his hands grab mine and pin them over my head.

My eyes opened then widen as I squeaked a bit which made Oliver chuckle a little. My heart raced seein Oliver hovered over me. His legs straddled my hips as he intertwined his fingers with mine and held my arms over my head.

Oliver laughed a bit which made me pout "yer face is so red my love" He said, I looked away from him and huffed which made him chuckle as he lowered himself onto me "Yer cute when you get mad" He whispered in my ear and kissed below it which made me shudder a little at the new feelin.

Oliver chuckled which sent shivers down my spine but I continued to ignore him "You can't ignore me forever darlin" He stated, I bit my lip which made him smirk as he pressed gentle kisses along my jawline and down to my neck which made me squeeze his hand and breathe heavily.

Oliver chuckled knowin he was havin an effect on me...I'm just glad no one was awake or out here seein this or that would have been WAY MORE EMBARRASSIN. Oliver nibbled on my neck which made me gasp a bit not knowin he was gonna do that. He chuckled and continued to nibble and probably leave small marks on my neck which made my breathe heavily and whimper "O-Ollie" I moaned out.

My eyes widen as that slipped out which made him stop and look at me. I whined and covered my face which made him chuckle "Don't hide yer face beautiful" he said, I pouted as he grabbed my hands again and pinned them beside me, he looked at me with a smirk on his face "Love the noises you make darlin" He teased,

I whined "Ollie stop teasin me" I said and pouted, he chuckled "I'm sorry love. I just wanted ta see yer pretty face turn red" he said squishin my red cheeks with his fingers which made me pout "you're so mean Ollie" I said, he chuckled "And why is that Love?" He asked, "because ya make me shy and embarrassed all the time and it makes my cheeks hurt" I said,

He laughed "Awe but I love when ya get shy love yer so cute" he said, I smiled shyly and whined "Ollie" I whined, he chuckled "See?" He asked, I rolled my eyes and huffed a bit "I hate you" I said, he laughed "I love you too" he said,

Both of our eyes widen as my heart and stomach fluttered "Y-you do?" I stuttered, he smiled shyly "Of course I do. How can I not?" He asked, I smiled widely as I jumped in his arms and hugged him tightly which made him laugh a little "Awe I love you too Ollie" I said,

He smiled and pried me off him "You do?" he asked, I smiled and nodded "How can I not?" I asked, he chuckled a bit as he brushed a strand of hair out of my face and cupped my cheeks "I love you so much Cecelia Diggory" He said,

I blushed and smiled "I love you so much too Oliver Wood" I said which made him smile as he pressed his lips against mine which made me smile and kiss back. The kiss was immediately more passionate than before knowin we said our 'I love you's' to one another but it was true...I loved him so much and i'm glad we said it and meant it.

Oliver wrapped his arms around my waist and held me close to him as I wrapped my arms around his neck and ran my fingers through his short brown hair. He smirked as we pulled away breathlessly. He rubbed his nose against mine which made me scrunch up and giggle "I love you my flawless skater" he said, I blushed and giggled "I love you too captain" I said, he smiled softly which made me sigh a bit.

It was quiet for a moment "So what are ya doin out here this early?" he asked, I sighed "I'm a mess. My stomach's a mess and my anxiety is so high from all of this I just needed some air" I said, Ollie nodded and brushed my hair behind my ear "I know love but it's gonna be okay" He said, I just nodded "I'm just so nauseous" I said,

Oliver nodded "well we should get ready for when they throw names in the Goblet of Fire" Ollie said, I sighed and nodded which made him kiss my head as we got off the floor and headed the Great Hall seein mainly everyone and all the Professors sittin down. I saw seein the Goblet of Fire up front with Dumbledore standin by it.

Me and Oliver took our seats as Dumbledore silenced us and announced he was goin to pull names from the Goblet of fire "Fleur Delacour!" He shouted which made everyone clap as a girl in blue walked up proudly, "Victor Krum!" He read another as a buff guy from the other school walked up, "and Cedric Diggory!" He shouted which made Ced stand up from our Table with the biggest smile on his face.

I stood up and clapped and cheered loudly which made him smile and wave at me. I just giggled and waved back as we thought that was that, but the Goblet of Fire suddenly was out of control as another name was pulled...Everyone was confused as Dumbledore looked pissed "Harry Potter!" He shouted,

My eyes widen as we all stared at Harry with confusion, he just as confused as we are as he hesitantly stood up and walked up front. After that Dumbledore lead all the participates to somewhere...I was confused "How the hell did Harry's name end up in there? He's not old enough?" I asked,

Oliver shrugged "No idea" he said, I huffed and rubbed my face anxiously which made Oliver intertwine his fingers with mine and kissed my head "it'll be okay" he whispered, I just nodded and tried to eat a little but it just made me feel more sick. I looked at Ron who looked pissed which made me pout "Ronald, it's not Harry's fault his name got pulled, there must be a misunderstandin" I said,

He just scoffed and rolled his eyes which made me frown as I got out of my seat and headed back outside to get some air but it didn't stop the panic from risin inside of me. My hands trembled and breathin got worse which made me groan and I curled up in a ball and tried to make it stop but it didn't...

I didn't see anyone come out until I heard Ollie's voice "Cece!" He shouted and ran towards me. He sat next to me and wrapped his arms around me "hey, hey, hey love look at me" he said as he gently grabbed my chin and made me look at him "yer okay love. It's gonna be okay. Just deep breaths" he said and took a few deep breaths which made me do the same and take shaky breaths.

Oliver gently grabbed my shaky hands and kissed them gently and placed them on his chest where his heart was. I gripped his sweater and closed my eyes listenin to his steady heartbeat. Oliver rubbed my back and kissed my head which made me sigh as I took a few deep breaths. Oliver smiled softly "There ya go love" he whispered and held me close as I continued to try and calm down.

When I was calm, Oliver cupped my cheeks and made me look at him "what happened love?" he asked, I frowned "Barely anythin started and shits already goin wrong. Ron is now pissy because Harry got picked for the tournament which now makes me wonder what happened and what the Professor's think and all of this is just too much Ollie" I said,

He just sighed and nodded "I know love. I know but you just gotta try and relax okay? I'm sure it was all a misunderstandin and will all get sorted out but it's gonna be okay" He cooed, I just sighed a bit and nodded and lied my head on his chest.

It was quiet for a moment "Hey" he whispered, I looked at him "I love you" he said, I blushed and smiled shyly "I-I love you too" I whispered which made him smile as he kissed my head and nose which made me blush and smile softly as I tried to relax in time for the Tournament to start...it's gonna be a Llllooonnngggg week...
