six months had passed, joshua and yumi's relationship was stronger than ever, the members of seventeen were practicing for their new comeback, yumi and her team, again, were working on seventeen's new designs.

yumi met joshua's mom, and they got along really well. most of the days, joshua and yumi had dinner at yumi's place, since her father really loved joshua. they got really close.

both yumi and joshua tried to keep their relationship private, but they were spotted a few times together in public. their faces were hidden, so no one knew who she was. yumi couldn't help but read the comments on every single post that was made about them. she saw a few negative comments, but most people realized how happy joshua looked, and they were happy for them.

right now, yumi was in the meeting room with her team and some of the members of seventeen, as they were discussing the concept of their new album, and the concept of jeonghan and wonwoo's new album.

"i made a few designs," one of yumi's teammates said, placing the papers on the conference table. "it is something new, something you've never done before, but i'm sure everyone's going to like it."

woozi pulled the papers closer as he examined the designs carefully.

"i like it." he nodded. "guys?" he showed hoshi, scoups, seungkwan and wonwoo.

"yumi you're so talented!" hoshi exclaimed. "we're so lucky to have you and your team!"

yumi made sure to show wonwoo and woozi some of the ideas she had for wonwoo and jeonghan's album, but they decided to wait for jeonghan to see everything as well.

after two more hours, the meeting ended and her team started packing their laptops and papers. they quickly left after saying goodbye to yumi.

"so, where's joshua?" yumi asked woozi.

she sent him a text message in the morning, letting him know she was busy, since she had to work on projects in her office, and then she had this meeting with seventeen.

"oh, joshua's not here today," woozi answered. "he's really sick."

"what?" yumi quickly turned to him. "he's in his dorm, right?"

"yeah, you should go check on him." he patted her shoulder. "he's going to be really happy."

yumi made sure to text her boss, letting him know she won't be able to come back, as she headed to joshua's dorm.

she slowly walked in, heading to joshua's room. she entered the room, and her eyes fell on her sleeping boyfriend. she tiptoed to his bed, sitting next to him and placing her hand on his forehead.

"god, you're burning up," she whispered.

joshua shifted slightly, his eyes fluttering open.

"yumi?" his voice was raspy.

"yes, baby, i'm right here," she whispered. "you're burning up. why didn't you tell me you were this sick?"

joshua smiled faintly, trying to sit up, but his body was too weak. "i didn't want to bother you."

yumi shook her head. "you're never a bother, baby." she reached for the blanket and pulled it up over him, making sure he was cozy.

he chuckled weakly. "i didn't want to worry you. and i didn't want you to get sick."

"i'll take care of you, okay?" she stood up. "i'll make you some tea."

yumi made her way to the kitchen, and as the water was boiling, she couldn't help but feel a pang of worry. she hated seeing joshua like this.

after a few minutes, she returned to joshua's room with a steaming cup of tea in her hand. she placed it on the nightstand beside him as she sat down.

"drink this, you'll feel better."

"thank you for taking care of me." he smiled weakly at her, his eyes heavy from exhaustion.

yumi smiled as she helped him take a few sips of the tea.

joshua's hand found hers, squeezing it weakly as he slowly closed his eyes, falling asleep.

yumi sat there for a while, her fingers lightly tracing the back of his hand, watching him as she slept. later, she fell asleep on the floor, as she didn't want to bother joshua.

she didn't care, she just wanted to help him. she wanted to be there for him.
