Chapter 6: notice me senpai

Gene's PoV

I have no clue what came over me just now, but I like it.

I went to the cafeteria to meet up with Zenix and Sasha. Definitely not going to tell them what I just did.

When I got there we spoke for abit before the bell rung throughout the school.

Zane's PoV

We kissed..... AHHHHHHHHHH.

I was internally screaming, trying to keep my cool on the outside. Breath Zane, breath.

I was on my way to class. Coincidentally it was the only class I shared with Gene. I was happy but nervous.

Taking a deep breath before entering. I went to sit in my usual spot at the back alone, like always.

"Alrighty class!" The teacher said cheerfully as he entered the room

"So to day we will-" he said before I zoned out and stopped listening

My attention went towards Gene. He looked bored out of his mind, but he looked hot like always and- WHAT AM I SAYING I NEED TO STOP.

His head turned and he started looking around the room, probably looking for something to do.

His gaze landed on me, as he noticed me staring at him. My face turned red in embarrassment, although he couldn't see it behind my mask, at least I hope not.

He winked at me seductively. I wanted to look away but my eyed were too fixed on him. That whole class was just me staring into his beautiful turquoise eyes and him staring into my baby blue ones.

When the bell rang I was kinda sad I didn't want this feeling to end. But I was happy. Happy that senpai finally noticed me.

As I was shoving my things into my bag Gene came up to me. Then I realised that everyone had already left and went home since this was out last lesson.

" so was you enjoying the view?" He said winking at me again

I hesitantly nodded my head yes, I felt my face heat up. He smirked, probably at how awkward I was.

Unexpectedly he pulled down my mask, smashing his own lips onto mine. I was shocked but closed my eyed and kissed back.

Before he walked out the room he handed me a piece of paper, waving bye to me. I waved back and looked at the paper. It was a phone number and above it read 'call me' with a cringeworthy winking face next to it. I smiled to myself then walked out the room, pulling my mask back up.

Time skip

As soon as I got home I went to Text Gene.

Zane: hello

Gene: hello?

Gene: who is this?

Zane: Zane

Gene: oh hey zane ;)

Zane: will you stop using cringe winky faces

Gene: sure anything for you ;)

Zane: ugh

Gene: haha! So what are you up to?

Zane: nothing, what about you?

Gene: I'm doing nothing either

Gene: can you send me a picture of your face?

Zane: why?

Gene: so I can admire how cute you look to give me something to do

Zane: nope

Gene: ;)

Zane: do you do that to everyone?

Gene: only the best ;)

Zane: okay, I've gotta go see you tomorrow at school

Gene: bye ;)

I smiled at the last winky face and put my phone next to me. I slowly started to unwrap the bandage on my arm, revealing a huge scar across it. It still stung but it wasn't bleeding anymore, so I decided to leave the bandage off for awhile to let air get to it.
