Part 4

The next couple of days I sneaked out and went over to Kota's or Nathan's. Gabe took me shopping for a new wardrobe full of clothes; we swam in Nathan's pool and played video games at Kota's. It was the Friday before school started on the Tuesday and everyone was having a sleepover at Kota's (including Mr. Blackbourne and Dr. Green). I had been eating and drinking stuff from the bag all week and had been feeling the effects of the drug wearing off, I could feel a stronger pull towards the guys and could feel Melody better. Today I had been feeling very empty, like I was missing something. I stepped up to Kota's door and I could feel Melody going crazy. I knocked on the door and I could hear shuffling in the house before the door opened to reveal Kota. I suddenly got an onslaught of spice hit my nose. Mate. I heard Melody say as I said it out loud. Kota looked shocked. It quickly wore off and he pulled me into a hug. Sparks shot up my arms form where I was touching him and where he was touching me. He sniffed my neck and growled. He let me go and then pulled me into the living room. Eight other scents hit my nose. Moss and berries, the ocean, cypress and leather, floral (A/N: Gabe's will keep changing), vanilla, musk, ginger and spring soap. Like before I heard Melody say Mate as I said it out loud. All of the boys turned to me with the same shocked look on their faces as Kota. Nathan was the first to recover and ran towards me and pulled me into a hug sniffing my neck, like Kota he growled. I was passed around the boys and they each hugged and sniffed me.

"Um... hi." I laughed.

HI! I heard Luke's voice in my head. I spun around and faced him.

"How did you do that?"

We're mates now so we can feel each other's emotions and if someone has a strong emotion then you can see through their eyes like pain or anger and we can also calm them down by touch. We can also talk to each other in our minds and read each other's minds like a pack link. Cool huh?

This is so cool! I heard Gabe say in my mind.

You know we are in the same room and can talk out loud to each other. Kota joins in.

That would be no fun. Nathan interjects.

Can you block each other out? North asks.

I think you can but why would you want to? Victor asks

Yeah North why would you want to miss our awesome company? Dr Green says.

If you have anything else to say, say it out loud. Mr Blackbourne commanded.

"How do you block out people?" I asked.

"You imagine that there is a wall between you and the other person. If you want to talk to just one of us then all you have to do is imagine a wall between the people you want to block out. I don't know why you would want to though."

"I don't I just want to know." I lied, if my mom punishes me now I know how to stop them from checking on me. I looked around to see if any of the boys heard my thoughts but it looks like no one did.

"So what do we do now?" I asked.

"As there are nine of us, all we have to do is bite you to leave a mark, we don't have to actually mate to complete the process, but as we have only known you for a week we should wait until you are ready to mark each other."

"Um...OK." I said with a smile. I was glad that we didn't have to mate as I wasn't ready for that yet.

"OK now that is out of the way, what are we doing? We have to do some girly shit!" All of the boys laughed. "For Sang, you bastards!"

"Yeah, if you say so." Luke says.

"We could play on the Xbox or a game."

"Game! Truth or Dare!" Gabe shouts. I heard groans form all the boys. "Sang what do you want to do?"

"Um... We can play on the Xbox if that is what everyone wants." I said.

"Sang what do you really want?" Kota asks. I put my finger to my lip; I had never played Truth or Dare and was interested about it.

"Truth or Dare." I mumbled.

"OK, Truth or Dare it is." We all sat in a circle, and Gabe explained the rules.

"Sang do you want to go fist?"

"Um... Can I see how you do it before I have a go?"

"OK, Sang Truth or Dare?"

"Truth." I heard groans from all the boys.

"Why are you called Sang?" All the boys looked interested in the answer.

"My dad's mom's name was Sangrida. My mom shortened it to Sang."

"North, Truth or Dare?"

"Dare." I froze I didn't know what to say. Luke leaned over and whispered in my ear.

"North, you have to stay still for a minute while Luke has to try and get you to move."

"Ugh, OK let me get comfortable." He sat with his legs crossed and said he was ready. Victor got his phone out and set the timer for a minute."

"OK Luke you have a minute in three, two, one!"

"I'm going to eat chocolate, sweets and junk food for a week straight." North looked angry but didn't move. Luke tickled him; he didn't move. Luke was thinking when he had a cheeky look in his eyes. He sat in North's lap and wrapped his arms around his neck. As soon as he touched his lap North pushed him off.

"Sorry, the only person I want in my lap is Sang baby!" He shouted.

"North you had 35 seconds left." Victor informed him.

"Sang baby, Truth or Dare?"

"Truth." It was followed by groans.

"Why are you a full werewolf, if your mom is a human?" All the boys nodded in agreement.

"I don't know, I have never really thought about it. I guess I'm just weird." I say with a smile.

"Nathan, Truth or Dare?"

"Dare." Gabe looks at me and I hear his voice in my head.

"The next person you see that is not a player you have to hug and refuse to let go." Nathan groaned.

"Sang, Truth or Dare."

"Tru... DARE!" I shout as Luke pokes me in the side tickling me. The boys laugh.

"I dare you to sit in my lap for the rest of the game." I knee walked over to him and went to sit in his lap. As soon as I sat down I felt the sparks. He lowered his head and sniffed my neck.

"Mmmm, Peanuts."

"Peanuts? I smell like peanuts?" I asked.

"Yep, peanuts. That's what I am going to call you: Peanut!" I giggled.

"Well then I am going to call you Honey, Because it goes well with peanuts..."

"Does it?"

"Yeah honey roasted peanuts, and secondly it is sweet, like you." I said with a blush.

"I like it!" He said with a smile. I smiled back.

"OY! If you have finished over there we are still playing a game here. Trouble, it's your go anyway."

"Trouble?"

"Yeah Trouble; I can sense that you are going to cause us trouble."

"Meanie!" I said sticking my tongue out.

"Mr. Blackbourne. Truth or Dare?"

"Dare." He said with a millimeter smile. I was taken aback at how much the smile changed his face. Dr. Green was trying to get my attention. Like Gabe I heard his voice in my head. I giggled.

"Mr. Blackbourne, I dare you to run around outside shouting 'I have lost my voice can you please help me find it!'" I looked to Dr. Green unsure he would do it. He put both thumbs up.

"OK, Miss Sorenson, are you coming too?" We all followed him out of the house. He started running around screaming as loud as he could.

"HELP PLEASE I HAVE LOST MY VOICE, PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP ME FIND IT!" It was weird to see the man who was perfect running around shouting at the top of his voice. A car pulled up into the drive and Erica and Jessica stepped out. Two things happened at once. Nathan muttered a curse then ran up to Erica and hugged her and wouldn't let go. And Mr. Blackbourne turned to Jessica and asked her to help him find his voice as he had lost it. I looked around to see the boys silently laughing holding their sides. Dr. Green had his phone out recording everything. He saw me looking at him and winked at me. I turned around to see Mr. Blackbourne explaining to Jessica that it was a dare and Nathan was still hugging Erica, Melody didn't like this.

He's ours. He shouldn't be hugging another person.  I was shocked to hear her. I hadn't heard her for as long as I could remember up until earlier when she said mate. I heard a low growl come out of my chest. All the boys turned to me and saw that I was angry. Silas came up and tried to calm me by hugging me. It didn't work, it would only work when Nathan had let go of Erica and was by my side. I heard Kota in my mind talking to Nathan.

I would stop now Sang isn't happy with you hugging my mom. As soon as it was said Nathan stopped and looked at me. He rushed over and hugged me, whispering in my ear that he was only mine. I calmed down instantly. When Nathan let me go I heard Erica say,

"Oh! Sang, I didn't see you there, are you staying for the sleepover? Oh, and Nathan, are you OK? Not that I didn't enjoy it but why did you do that?"

"Yes." I said as Nathan said "Dare."

"OK cool, what are we having for dinner?"

"I'll cook." I offered

"No, you're a guest."

"It's no trouble really."

"Alright then." She smiled. We all grabbed a bag from the car to take in, and I then followed Erica and Jessica to the kitchen.

"Sang, do you need any help?" Jessica asks.

"Um... OK, yeah that would be helpful." I said trying to be nice and include her.

"OK, so Jessica can tell you where everything is, I'll leave you to it." I looked at what ingredients we had and saw we had the ingredients for Cowboy Stew. I instructed Jessica what to do. We worked in silence for a couple of minutes before Jessica asked me something.

"Are you like us?"

"You mean Werewolf?" She nodded. "Yeah. My mom and sister are human and I rarely see my dad and when I do I don't talk to him so I don't know what he is."

"My mom, brother and me are Werewolves."

"Dad?" I asked. Her face went sad. "You don't have to answer if you don't want to."

"I don't really remember him, I know he was a werewolf, but he used to hit my mom and Kota, he left years back." She finished with a smile. Kota was abused?

"We're having a sleepover if you want to join for a bit." I said trying to lighten the mood.

"Um... Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I can check if you want me to but I'm sure they won't mind."

"Can you check?" She asked. I smiled and nodded.

Hey guys, I invited Jessica to our sleepover for a bit, she wanted me to check with you if that is alright?

Yeah that's fine. Came from all the boys.

"They said that is fine." I said with a smile.

"One of them is your mate?"

"Um... Not really, kind of like all of them are." She looked shocked.

"Even, Dr. Green and Mr. Blackbourne?"

"Yep, even them. Do you know their full names?"

"Wow that is so cool. Their full names are Dr. Sean Green and Mr. Owen Blackbourne. Mr. Blackbourne likes to be called that so he sounds older. Dr. Green doesn't mind."

"How old are they?"

"19, they are the oldest the rest are 15/16. They've been together as a team for ages, i don't really know what they do." So Mr. Blackbourne and Dr. Green are 4 nearly 3 years older than me. How did Dr. Green become a doctor so young? For the rest of the time I asked her about school and her friends. When the stew was stewing we made our way back into the living room. All the boys turned to see us in the doorway. They looked like they had been having a conversation which stopped immediately when we stepped into the living room.

"So what are we doing?" I asked walking towards the couch which North and Silas sat on. I turned to find Jessica looking lost in the doorway. I went back to her and pulled her towards the couch. I pulled her into the middle between Silas and North and then sat on North's lap. All of the boys were staring at her.

Leave her alone. You're probably freaking her out. I told them. As soon as I said it they all looked away from her and directed their stare to me.

"Well?" I asked.

"Well, what baby?"

"Well, what are we going to do?"

"We could watch a movie; play a game on the Xbox?" Kota suggests.

"Jessica what do you want to do?" I asked her.

"Um... I don't mind, Xbox?"

"Yeah, let's play Xbox as we didn't play it earlier." I say. Kota got up and put a game into the machine, it was a racing game. It looked like we had to be on teams.

"I'm on Jessica's team." I say before anyone can say I am on their teams. I wanted her to feel welcome.

"That's not fair; I want to be on your team Trouble."

"If I was on your team then I wouldn't be able to show you girls are better than boys at this game." I said winking at Jessica. Kota threw me and Jessica a remote each. North was showing me the controls. It was my first time playing so I knew that I wouldn't win, I was counting on Jessica being good and me being able to cheat and distract our opponents. I saw that we were against Luke and Gabe who were sat on the floor. I told North that I wanted to sit on the floor so I could play better and sat in between Gabe and Luke. I smile innocently at both of them and then looked at the screen. We were all lined up at the start line. When the screen showed Go, Gabe, Luke and Jessica zoomed off the line, whereas I was slower. I played the game for a bit and was losing terribly, Luke was first, Jessica was second, Gabe was third and I was last. On the second lap I strike. I slowly edged towards Luke, I let go of the controller with one hand and poked Luke in the side. He laughed.

"Sang," He said in a warning tone. I did it again. He laughed again before poking me back. I giggled forgetting my controller I climbed onto his lap and traced my fingers over his sides. I saw Nathan grab my controller and was driving the wrong way around the track. Luke had dropped his controller in the attempts at stopping me. I looked to the screen and saw that Jessica was first and Gabe was gaining on her. I suddenly thought of how to stop Gabe without letting Luke pick his controller up.

GABE! I thought as loud as I could. I saw all of the boys including Gabe jump. I grinned seeing Jessica go over the line first. I clambered off of Luke's lap.

"That's not fair. She cheats at everything!" referring to me cheating earlier at swimming. Gabe and Luke looked at each other probably talking in their minds blocking me out. I tried to get into Gabe's or Luke's mind but was met with a wall. They both then suddenly stood up and ran towards me, I stood up and ran the other way. I ran around the house for five minutes before I couldn't hear their footsteps anymore. I tried to reach out to their minds but I was blocked out. I slowly walked back to the living room expecting them to ambush me on the way but I didn't see them anywhere. I stepped into the living room and looked around for them, they were nowhere in sight. I looked to the boys and Jessica,

"Where are they?" They all either shrugged or said they didn't know. I slowly walked towards the couch and sat down. As soon as I sat down Silas' stomach rumbled.

"Why didn't you say anything?" I asked him.

"You were kind of busy." He replies.

"I think it is time for dinner then." Mr. Blackbourne says.

"GABE, LUKE. YOU'RE GOING TO MISS DINNER!" North shouts smiling. I heard footsteps running towards where we are all sat.

"Why didn't you say we were having dinner now?" Luke said with fake hurt on his face. I giggled.

"Don't think you got away with this trouble! Now you see why I call you trouble!"

"OK, I'll just get the bowls and stuff. Can you help?" I asked Jessica. She nodded. I grabbed the bowls and everything else they might want on it.

"Having fun?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I usually don't get invited to this sort of thing." She tells me. We finished setting all the bowls out and called the boys in.

"Mmmm, that smells great, oh and the cooking does too." Dr. Green says winking at me. I blushed.

"Yeah, it smells great Peanut."

"Jessica helped as well." I said not wanting to leave her out.

"Well thank you to the both of you." Mr. Blackbourne says. I smiled which he returned with a millimeter smile. We all served ourselves some and went back into the living room to eat. After everyone had finished, Jessica said that she was going to go to her room for the rest of the night. After we had all said goodnight we decided to watch a film. I settled down on Silas' lap. It was halfway through the film and my eyes were drooping, I tried to stay awake but sleep consumed me.
