"what's happening?"

she asked them and they turned towards her.

"lily.. We have to leave to new York tomorrow.. They suddenly changed the schedule date in Our collaboration project so we have no choice but to leave.. And.. I am worried cause they got married only today" felix said and sighed.

"lucas what about you..?". Lily asked him.

"i have to go.. but aunty .. Will you please stay here with her until I came back ?" he asked her in a soft voice.

"hmm.. sure I will.. I would have stayed Even if you don't ask me to.. I can't let her be alone at this time.." lily said and lucas smiled at her .

" lucas.. I will come tomorrow morning since I didn't have my clothes I will get going.. I have to pack my necessities and help felix pack as well.." she said while walking towards athy's room and lucas nodded his head..

"athy dear.. Something urgent came up I will leave now.. I will come tomorrow morning.." lily said and left with felix.

"huh..?" athy stood there confused.. Helena glanced at lucas who is hesitating to say something she left the room to give them space

" well.. I will go and check on cabel.." she mumbled and went out..

"what's going on..?" athy asked lucas confused.

"sia.."

He stood there looking away from her eyes scratching his nape

" I... I have to go to new York tomorrow morning.. My schedule suddenly changed and my recording for new collaboration was day after tomorrow so I have to go.. Felix went home to pack things and lily will stay with you for a week until we return.. Is that okay..? " he asked and stood there nervously.

' I never thought they change it suddenly like this.. Will she be upset or mad ..? But I can't cancel it..' he snapped out of his thought hearing her voice.

" I see.. That's why lily was in such a rush huh..? Travel safely lucas.. And good luck with your work.."

she said and gave him a bright smile. Lucas was relieved at the same time surprised.

' she wasn't mad at me..? I thought she would.. Well.. She always surprise me..' he thought and let out a small smile.

" hmm.. Thanks Sia then I will start packing.."

"okay.. Did you need any help..?" she asked.

"no it's okay.."

he said and went towards his wardrobe. She nodded her head and went outside.. She sent off Helly and cabel since cabel also have to pack his things.. She returned to the room lucas was standing outside on the balcony talking to cabel and fell asleep as soon as she lied down.. Lucas came inside after some time and saw her already sleeping.. He tugged her inside bed sheet and lied beside her after some time..

He scrolled his phone lying down and flinched when athy suddenly hugged him in sleep.. He patted her head and slowly fell asleep cuddling her .

Athy slowly opened her jeweled eyes.. The first thing she was lucas sleeping peacefully beside her.. She stared at him for some time smiling..

'so pretty... He was such a pretty boy contrary to his cold behaviour... Why the hell is he so handsome.. No matter how may times I see his face I would never get tired of it..' she thought and giggled.. She got up and took a shower then went outside..she Did her morning routine and then went to kitchen and made breakfast with ingredients lily bring with her yesterday..

' I should go for shopping first.. Then..i have to choose curtains.. And then.. ' she was thinking about the list of things she have to do while cooking.. '

Lucas jerked off from bed after hearing the alarm sound..' haah.. It's always so annoying hearing this sound first thing in the morning.. He turned to see athy was not there he heard sounds from outside and guessed she was already up and went to took shower he came outside drying his head with a towel and surprised to see athy was cooking..

She noticed him standing and staring at her and smiled at him..

" good morning.." she said with a smile brighter than sunrays..

"hmm..good morning.. What are you doing..?" he asked confused.

"huh...? Making breakfast.." she said as a matter of fact..

"you know how to cook..?" he asked her still doubtful..

"of course I know.. I am living alone for two years already.."

she said transferring the pancakes she made to a plate. He nodded his head.

" I am done... let's eat..". She said placing them in dining table. Lucas was about to say something but she forced him to sit..

" yeah I know you won't eat in the morning but just change that habit already.. breakfast is a must.. Don't skip them.. it's not good for health.. "

she said.. He blinked dumbfounded.. But nodded his head since she made them herself.. He took a bite and his eyes wided.

" did you really made this..? " he asked and she glared at him.

" yes.. I did.. Why? " she said with a 'if you say anything to piss me off I will kill you' look in her face.

" it's good.. I don't know you can cook this well.." he mumbled.. And continued eating.. Her face brightened after hearing that

"then.. will you don't skip breakfast from now on.. Hmm..?" she asked in a sweet tone. He looked up and stared at her..

' looks like she is worried about me.. If I say no she won't let me be and will nag me to do that anyway.' he thought and nodded his head as a yes.. She gave a bright smile

" really..? Thank you.."

she said happily and started eating her breakfast sitting opposite to him ..

'is she that happy..? Just for this ..? I don't know why but the thought of her worried about me is... It feels good.. To have someone caring about me.. staying beside me when I start my day .. Making me breakfast.. Living as family.. it's really good ' he thought and let out a small smile.

He got a call from felix and did one last check with his packing .. He was ready to fly to Newyork... He put his spinner down and looked at his reflection in mirror and sighed..

' I waited to do this album for days.. But... Why it feels weird now..?.. May be because I have thoughts like .. What if I can't be able to release it ..? What if they cancel it again..? What is this feeling .. Am I worried ..? Pfft... I thought I get rid of emotions long ago at that time.. Guess I was not huh..?' he thought and looked down..

"what's wrong..? Are you okay..?"

athy asked worried looking at him standing lifeless as she entered the room. He slowly looked up and give a small smile to her..

"I am okay.." he said but she looked at him with a doubtful eyes.

" you are not.. it's written all over your face.." she said and he sighed giving up.

"fine.. I am not.. What if they block my songs from release again .. What if I have to take the blame of plagiarism again..? I think I am worried they will happen .. I really waited to do this album.. but every time they do things like this evn yhoigh I want to be strong I can't take it lightly it really upset me "

He said letting out a sigh.. Athy hugged him tight.. He looked down at her and hugged her back like she was a teddy bear.. 'so warm..' he thought and a grin appeared in his lips.. She parted away from him still holding him into the hug by his waist .. she tiptoed and gave a peck on his cheek his eyes wided in surprise..

" chu... don't worry...everything is gonna be alright.. "

She said looking at his face straight into his eyes and gave a wholehearted smile..He smiled back and hugged her tight.. 'Pfft.. why are you so cute.?'

He thought smiling, he leaned closer and kissed her on the lips... They shared a soft and sweet kiss..

'i think it's because of you I am feeling this emotions again but I don't mind getting miserable in front of you.. Since you are the solace which keeps me alive...'

he thought while hugging her tight... They parted as they heared the sound of felix horning in his car like crazy ..

" bye lucas.. Have a safe journey."

she said and smiled at him..' strangely I feel less nervous now.' he thought and smiled back at her.. She waved her hand to felix who is inside the car.. He came outside and chatted with her for a while and went back to the car.. Lucas went inside and waved her bye.. She went inside after the car faded from her sight.. She stood there looking at the living room and grinned

"now let's start decorating it.. Yeah.. Now I am so excited.. I can order stuffs online and went for shipping when lily come here.. In few hours.."

she mumbled as she Sat on the sofa and started scrolling her phone.. shopping online..

After a while she heard calling bell ringing Sound and greeted lily with a bear hug.. Lily giggled as she entered the house.. Athy explained her thoughts on decorating the house to her and she listened to them with a smile plastered in her face. Then they went for shopping... and returned home late... Athy started setting the things she bought and lily prepared dinner for them.. She had her dinner and athy sit on her bed exhausted her morning sickness is getting severe day by day and she get tired so easily.. She got a call from lucas and her face light up immediately.. They talked for God know how many hours.. And athy fell asleep while talking.. Lucas heard her breathing sound and guessed she fell asleep

" good night sia... Sweet dreams.." he mumbled and smiled looking at his phone .

Days flew fast and athy completed setting up the house with the help of lily and helly..Helly often visited them and the three of them had fun times together lucas call her every night and end the call after making sure she fell asleep.. She was sitting in the swing placed in the backyard garden and swinging... She looked above and stared at the slowly moving clouds... 'lucas will come back tomorrow.. I finished setting up the house how will he react if he see this..? I am really curious... I suddenly miss him.. ' she thought and smiled..

'haah come to think of it I am running out of some groceries.. I think I can go for shopping..' she thought and got up from the swing

She went inside and saw lily was on her phone talking seriously.. She went near her and she looked at her with a worried face..

"what's wrong lily?" she asked worried.

"well.. This girls made a problem in the dance school and I think I have to go.."

"I see.. then get going.. why are you waiting?"

"how can I leave you alone..? I will wait until helly came and go after that.. Since lucas will come back tomorrow"

she said and she scrolled her phone to call helly but athy stopped her.

"come on lily.. it's ok she was busy with her work don't call her I can manage.. You should get going.." she said and smiled

"are you really OK with this...?" she asked concerned

"still.."

"oh come on.. Don't worry and just get going" she said as she pushed her towards the door. Lily finally left her house after athy spent all her energy to send her away. She sighed after her car disappeared from her sight and closed the door.

"it looks like i was the only one who is so free... I think I didn't get used to it even faster months of living without doing any work.. Let's just go and buy groceries "

she mumbled as she went to change clothes. She drove to the nearby supermarket and bought things she needed...when she was about to head inside the car she saw a tall blonde haired man standing outside of his car in distance .. He was leaning on a expensive black car and was wearing a branded suit.. He looked dazzling even from distant.. He turned his face in her direction revealing his blue jeweled eyes.. He didn't noticed her presence and looked pissed off about something .. His driver ran towards him and apologised before starting to fit the Stepney for his car.

She froze on the spot with her one hand on the car door half opened.. Her hands trembled.. her whole body went cold... 'no athy... Let's just go home... don't rewind those things ..' she told herself and forced her body inside the car and drove to home.. She entered her house and went to kitchen, she arranged the groceries with her hands still trembling..

Daddy....

Wait.. Daddy.. Athy can't walk fast...

Daddy... my legs hurt...

Dad...

She crouched down holding her head in her hand... She felt dizzy..

She stood up slowly and walked to her room.. she opened her drawer and took out a box of pills, But didn't took them since she can't and lied down on the bed.. 'please don't remember them and just sleep.. Please..' she told herself and closed her eyes.. tears dribbled down from the corners..
