Chapter 10

Lucas slowly opened his eyes as sunrays pierced the window and hit his face... He blinked few times adjusting his eyesight to the brightness of the room . He saw athy sleeping beside him and smiled. Her blonde waves glittered in sunlight like gold, even her eyelids are shining her nose was sharp and she had small plump lips.. She has face that is So perfect in every angle ..

'wow.. What a beautiful sight to see first thing in the morning... I can't believe I am gonna see this beautiful sight everyday.. Is she even human..? '

He thought and caressed her cheek gently. She turned towards him sleeping. He got up from the bed and finely tugged her inside the bed sheet .. He gave a kiss in her forehead and went outside the room.. As soon as he went out blackey ran towards him and ran round around his legs he crouched and patted it's head.. He played sometimes with blackey and left the house.

Athy got up and stretched her hands.. She turned and saw lucas was not there.

'what time is it..? Oh God I slept until noon again.. '

She got up from her bed fresh up and came outside and saw blackey already sleeping.. She searched all over her house but he was nowhere to be seen.

"so he left after feeding him.. He should have woke me up or atleast left a note .. See.. He didn't even text or call me.." she mumbled and Sat in the sofa.. She called him..

"hello.."

"hii lucas.. When did you leave..?"

" I think around seven in the morning .. Did you wake up just now..?"

"yeah.. You should have atleast left a note or sent a text.. Why did you leave without telling me ..? Don't you know I will search for you..? " she whined to him pouting.

" .. I don't know".

'huh.. He really don't know huh.. This dumb guy..' she thought and sighed.

"where are you now?" she asked

"out for some work.."

"so you are busy... I see.. then I will call you later bye" she said and ended the call.

He stood there looking at his phone dumbfounded.

'huh...? All she did was nagging and she cut the call..?' he thought confused then cabel called for him and he walked towards him.

Helly came to visit athy and dragged her out to complete rest of their shopping ..she can't contact lucas after that since both of them were so busy and like that a day before wedding came. Lily prepared for thier wedding in a church in an island it was where she and felix got married.. so she wanted athy to get married in the same church. The audience of the marriage is lily, felix, helena and cabel only.

Athy and helena packed their necessities to head for the island and lily came to pick them... when they was about to exit.. blackey whined and didn't let athy leave ..

"blackey dear.. Did you want to come with me..?" athy asked hugging and patting blackey.

"I planned on dropping him in dog centre until we came back .. what if he gets uncomfortable and kept barking.. It's always such a hassle taking him on the plane.." lily said sighing.

"it's only on plane lily he love riding in car" athy said patting him.

"are you gonna drive him in car all the way to the island..? "

"I will convince him and made him take the plane... Please lily."

"haah.. You always defend for him.. Aren't you..? do whatever you want.. But if he didn't obey us.. I am gonna give him to anna"

lily said glaring at blackey. Athy nodded her head and got inside the car with blackey.

"as if.. she will allow you to.. Let's go.."

helena mumbled and they drove to the airport and get in the private plane.. Athy looked back and forth and Sat with a confused face.

" since they have some work to do.. they will come late at night.."

lily said knowing why athy was making that face.

"ahhh.. I see.. Okay then"

athy replied and looked outside...

'so.. lucas was not the type to tell everything like felix..' she thought as she was looking at the white clouds.

' a few months before I felt suffocated looking at them.. Now I am travelling to get married.. Life is really full of unexpected things.. Isn't it..? Hereafter Will I be able to live without feeling suffocated ..?'

"athy.." she snap out of her thoughts and turned towards lily.

"are you okay..? Did you feel uncomfortable ..?"

"no lily... Don't worry... I am alright"

she gave her a bright assuring smile and lily smiled back.

They reached the hotel.. It was bustling with tourists since its summer season and they went to thier room after getting thier keys.. Athy ran towards the sink and started vomiting.. Helly stood beside her patting her back worried.. lily rushed inside with medicines .. She took the pills and lied down in lily's lap.. She stroked her hair with a concerning face.

"don't worry lily I am alright.. I felt nauseated but now I feel better "

she said and smiled.

" then it's a relief.. It's normal during pregnancy now just sleep.."

she said stroking her head.. Athy nodded her head as a yes and she slowly dozed off. Helly slept beside athy in her bed. Lily covered both of them with a blanket and went outside..

When athy slowly opened her eyes.. She saw helly sleeping beside her and pinched cheek she didn't even budged she giggled and slowly Sat straight she saw blackey was sleeping in the couch. She took a shower to refresh herself.. She wore a white dress and went to lily's room and saw lily was talking on her phone.. She went near her and she gave her a 'how do you feel now' look.

She smiled and showed a okay sign with her hand and Sat on her bed.. Moving her legs back and forth .. Lily signalled her to come and grabbed her hand taking her outside..

"let's go.. They arrived ". Lily said after ending the call.

"huh..?" athy looked at her confused.

"you wanted to see lucas right..? Let's go.."

lily said with a smirk and athy blushed a little.. The went to the entrance and saw the three of them standing at the counter to receive thier room key. Lucas turned and saw athy coming with lily towards them.

She waved him a hii and he waved back lazily looking at her..

"kyaa..that red hoodie guy was so hot isn't he..?"

"yeah he is.."

The girls passed by athy said squeeling and athy let out a sigh. Lily noticed that and chuckled.

'I have so much to tell him.. Where should I begin..? ' she went towards him thinking about that.. But, When she went near him she didn't said anything she Planned on telling him and stared at him silently..

Lucas let out a small smile..

"hii.. Are you okay now..? "

he asked her in a low voice she silently stared at him and let out a bright smile.

"hmm.. Better now "

"seeing how short your reply was I think you are not.."

"no, I am really OK.. Just sleepy I will get going lucas.. Good night.."

"huh..?.. Yeah... Good night.."

he said and looked at her confised.

"Then I will get going.."

she said smiling and turned to leave but lucas stopped her by grabbing her hand. She turned towards him.

"are you really OK..? "

he asked and his voice was full of concern. She gave him a bright smile.

"I am really okay don't worry"

she said and walked towards felix and chatted with him a little and went back to her room.

Lucas slowly walked towards his room

'is she really okay..? She never talked this short to me before.. May be she was too tired to talk.' he thought as he flopped in his bed.

'haah.. I am also exhausted.. That was such a tiring work it's a relief it ended well my whole body is aching'

he thought and fell asleep as soon as he closed his eyes.

Lily walked beside athy staring at her time to time.

. "do you have anything to ask me..?"

Athy asked knowing what she wants to know..

"you waited for him to arrive.. then why did you returned without talking with him..?"

she asked tilting her head..

Athy gave a 'I know it' smile.. She replied a few moments later

"he was tired.."

she said looking front walking slowly.

"huh..?"

lily asked even more confused.

"when I look into his eyes he was so tired.. I know he will just pretend not to be tired and talk with me as much I want that's why I left earlier.. I bet he will be sleeping soundly now."

she said and winked. Lily patted her head and gave a satisfied smile.

Cabel who walked behind them heared thier convo and smiled..

'yeah.. He is head over heels for her and definitely he didn't realised it yet... He will surely do something like what she said.. she is so thoughtful.. What did that jerk did in his past life to have such an angel as a wife..? If it was helly she will talk just to torment me and laugh... Pfft... even though snhe do that I love her so much ..'

he smiled thinking about that and entered the room to see lucas was deep in sleep. He giggled and took a photo of him sleeping even without taking off his hoodie and sent it to athy.

When athy entered her room and lied down she saw cabel' s message and smiled.

'huh he was typing something..?' she thought.

Thanks for letting this jerk sleep.. this brother is proud to have such a nice little sister.. Good night

She giggled even more reading the message.

'he was always like this.. I don't know why he always call me sister but it's nice..' she thought and typed.

Thanks to my sweet brother I can see how lazy he was to sleep like this..

Cabel saw that and smirked.

'well... She doesn't know why he was so tired.. So I will keep it a secret for now.. He thought and smiled.. They both chatted for sometime and fell asleep.

The Next morning athy raised up from sleep before the sun to get ready for her special day.. Lily and helly came to her while she was sitting on the dressing table getting her hair done by the stylist. Balckey was sitting on the sofa and helly tied a red ribbon on its neck..

"our blackey is so cute".

She patted its head and it wagged its tail athy chuckled looking at them.

"oh.. My whose boy is this...? So cute.."

she giggled blackey ran towards her and climbed on her lap she patted its head.

"This red ribbon suits our blackey very well.."

she said 'and.. It reminds me of his eyes.. Somehow nowadays blackey reminds me of him..' she thought and blushed a little. Her hair was done and she stood up and saw her reflection in the mirror.

"helly do I look okay..?"

she asked turning toward helly..

"wow... Are you an angel..? Where is your wings..?"

Helly shouted dramatically and gasped looking at athy.. Athy chuckled. Lily stared at her with a sad expression.

"lily... What's wrong..?"

athy asked rushing towards lily worried. Lily's eyes started to tear up..

"I was happy for you my dear.. Now that You are all grown up and getting married I realised I am also getting old and I can't control my emotions..it feels like yesterday you followed me around with your tiny legs whining to me to play with you.. "

she said wiping her tears.. Athy hugged her and kissed her cheek.

"no..my lily is always young and beautiful.. I will always be your little daughter even if you become a great grandma"

she said and winked. Lily chuckled hearing her words and cupped her face which was also tearing up... on contrary to her words she also got emotional...

"my daughter is the prettiest bride in the whole world.. I think I am not ready to give my precious daughter to that brat.. You are always my adorable little daughter.."

She said and hugged her tightly. Helly photographed thier mom Daughter moments smiling happily .

" aunt don't worry she is always your daughter.. And leave her now otherwise her hairstyle will be spoiled."

helly said and giggled. Lily parted from athy and they smiled at her.

"oh.. My.. We should redo your makeup your eyeliner smudged." lily said

"let's wait a bit aunty.. Felix uncle is not here yet.." helly shrugged.

"pfft...yeah but I am sure he will cry more than athy.."

lily said and they all laughed.. Blackey went near the door barking and tried to open it.. And when felix opened it he get tackled by blackey.. He patted its head ..

"what's so funny..? everyone is laughing like this.. Can I also join..? "

Felix entered the bride's room followed by blackey and got surprised to See athy he walked towards her and caressed her face.

" whose daughter is this..? so beautiful"

felix said smiling brightly. Athy placed her hand above his and smiled back at him.

"why did you grown up so fast.. When you were young you always act cute and ask me to buy choco cake for you.. I can't believe that little athy grown up and now getting married "

felix said as his eyes teared up. Athy wiped his tears smiling brightly to him..

"don't worry .. I will act cute and whine to you even now.. " she said and giggled.

"see.. what I told You.. she is crying again."

helly whispered to lily as she was taking snaps of them .. Lily looked At them With a emotional eyes.. Athy grabbed lily's hand and made her stand beside felix and hugged both of them tightly.

"thank you for being my mom and dad.. I love you guys so much... "

she said hugging them. They smiled and patted her back. As they parted apart athy giggled.

"what happened athy?"

felix asked confused.

"it's just that.. You guys are so beautiful today.. That I got confused for a moment that who is gonna get married today" . She said and giggled.

" I put extra effort cause I wanted to look beautiful in my daughter's marriage.. But I don't know about felix" lily said scanning felix from head to toe

"I also wanted to look perfect walking beside My angel like daughter" felix shrugged and they giggled.

"okay.. Okay.. You two wait outside.. We don't have much time left.. If you two stay with her we can't finish her makeup within today "

helly said as she was pushing the two outside. They went outside and waited for her in front of the room.

"lily... I was really surprised when I saw her" felix said in a low voice.

"right..? Me too.. She grown up to be exact carbon copy of her mom.. I thought it was diana for a moment until I saw her eyes.. I wish diana was alive.. She always talk about how she want to see her wedding even when she was in her womb.."

lily said sniffling and felix comforted her.
