Chapter 4

ATHY 'S P.O.V

When  he said he will give me company I was really surprised.. I started telling him about my bucket list and he looked a bit surprised.. I thought he would then back off  cause I know he was indolent  type  who like to stay in his room..

But..he really did come with me .. We went to explore everything on my list.. It was so fun being with him.. He was not much of a talker but he was a good listener..

What I found interesting about him was... Lucas was really shy when it comes to showing  his true feelings and its so cute... He always took care of me  but not With his words.. with his actions ..

I love how he notice every little things.. From putting on seat belts for me to carrying things I am holding.. I never thought he will be so caring..

Whenever I feel down he stayed beside me silently... Like that time  when we were  climbing the mountain..at that time I can't walk continuously like before, I really felt sorry for making him wait frequently..  I always hate bothering others.. And I always feel sad whenever someone try to comfort me..

I am not saying they are hurting me with ill intentions ..its just that.. I don't like it.. when others look at me with pity.. When my dance partners came to  knew I can't dance anymore they looked at me with pitiful eyes..

I really felt like I can't do anything anymore and my life is over at that time.so, I was really happy when he didn't said anything and just stayed beside me.. I guess he don't know how to comfort others with words .. But to me... just him sitting beside me was so comforting.. When I was with him..

I feel safe.. He always take care of me like I am a child and I act like one before him.. Cause I love it when he pampers me.. I always love getting spoiled.. But it felt  different  from how I feel spoiled around lily and felix.. I  want him to be with me all the time..

I love how he was worried about me but pretends like he didn't care.. When  he always let me walk first  wherever we go and follow me..  How  he always say yes to everything I want... When  he always stay beside me whenever I feel sad..

When  he listen to all my blabbering without being bored of me.. When  he tell me how he feel honestly... How he ignore every girls  who look at him with heart eyes wherever we go and only look at me.. I don't know why.. But it made me happy.. I feel like he was treating me as someone special to him.

whenever he  hold my hand when we have to walk in crowd or cross the road..I feel warmth overwhelming me, my heart beats faster..  Haah... He is really messing with my heart..

Why he is so perfect..? I can't point out a single flaw  in him. he always act mature and  he don't get annoyed by my silly doings.. I really love to have him beside me.. I didn't expected  him to be such a caring person ..

I am glad I met my healing voice in person when I was at the worst phase in life .. His voice always made  me feel better but his whole presence was like a blessing to me.. I forgot about everything else when I am with him..

We finished my bucket list and we are a lot more closer now.. Today lucas and felix were going back to seoul.. I feel sad that he is going back but he already have a lot of things going on in his life.. I don't want to disturb him. Before they go back he came to my house and stayed with me for some time and I was really so happy..

Strangely blackey wasn't vary of lucas.. They  get along well and blackey  always obeys him.. He also seems to like blackey and we went  for a walk  together few times.. Now.. Me and blackey was walking along the sea shore.. I am reminded of times we came here together.. Because that was the first day I was the one listening to his stories..

That day I understood why he was so mature.. Being an orphan and growing up alone... he really faced many hardships.. That day i once again thanked God  and mom for giving me lily and felix in my life.

And Now... I am on my way to meet my only childhood friend helena.. She and I studied in the  same kindergarten  and she was the one approached me first and talked to me.. I am really grateful to have her as my friend..

She continued to be in touch with me even after i went Paris.. She even fought with her parents and came to Paris alone to see my debut dance.. She was more hyper  than me in everything  and I am really excited to see her again.

We were supposed to meet even more earlier but she got tangled in work and it took her this long to meet me again.. I saw her  standing on the corner of the road leaning on her car.

She saw  me walking towards her.. I waved her and she gave a dramatic reaction.. Pfft... she is always like this.. Then she ran towards me and hugged me tight.

"wow.. You are more beautiful than last time I see you.."

"helly... I missed you.. Let's go inside ... I have so much to talk with you"

They went inside the coffee shop and chatted  for hours.

"what..??" helena shouted making everyone glance  at her.

"shhh.. Be quiet.." athy hushed her.

"God damn it.. Athy... I can't believe it ..  You did what..? Slept with a guy...?!! Are you crazy..?..you out  of all people..? I can't believe it.. And  Why did you sleep with him if he is not your boyfriend..?"

"I told you it was an accident.. Stop overreacting"

"you are taking it too lightly athy.. Who is the guy Did you atleast know him..?" helena asked worried.

"hmm.. Not when that incident happened but after that .. now I know him very well" athy said and smiled.

'huh... What is this.. I never saw her showing this  kind of expression before.. She was never interested in boys.. Who the hell  is he to made her react like this ..?'

"who is he..?"

"do you know singer  lucas..?"

"of course I know who would not know him.. Eventhough his face was not revealed he was pretty famous and a good singer... And..  He was cabel' s friend.. I met  him one or  two times.. Why are you talking about him. Suddenly..?" helena asked confused.

" really..? Lucas is  friend of your  boyfriend  ..? "athy asked surprised.

" yeah.. He is.. I met  him about two  times when he was with caby and..  You know what.. he was an  insanely handsome guy... When I first saw him I Thought if his face was revealed to the public he would have been  even more famous   now.. he was that much handsome...

Wait..  Hey!!! no way..Don't tell me... Even though he has so many scandals... I don't think he will do something like that..he was handsome but so cold.. "helly didn't stopped talking to herself and athy giggled.

" yeah .. It was him.. He then came to apologise and explained everything.. he was also in a kind of situation that.. "athy explained everything to helly.

" I see.. So we can't blame  him either huh..? It really was an accident.. so many things happened in these three months   huh..?   As I thought...Even though there was rumors about him.. I know he was not like that he never even looked at me in face properly..

He is silent and cold, never showed interest in girls .. It was hard to believe it was him.. and on top of that he was kind to you..? I never saw him even smile before.. Phew... Anyways.. I am glad.. Nothing  more worse   happened  to you" helly sighed in relief.. They chatted  for some time and helly stood up from her seat.

"athy .. let's go to the  pub.. there was a pub that  was so famous here and it was near your house ..first let's go to your home and spent our night in the pub okay? "

"yeah.. Yeah.. okay.. Let's go home first .. I have to feed blackey .."

They got up and went back home and spent thier time together chatting, playing with blackey and then they got ready for outing..

"shall we go..?"

athy asked coming out of her room after getting ready. Helly looked at her and winked giving a thumb up to her look, she was wearing black dress  and knee high heels.

"athy baby you are so sexy" helly hugged her and kissed her cheek, athy giggled.

"pfft... are you dating cabel or me?"

"if I were a boy I would have definitely dated you.. You are a  dream girl of many boys.. I can't even have the count on number of boys proposed to you even when we were kids..  so i would have bragged to everyone that you are my girlfriend .." helly winked at her. athy looked at her with a blank face.

"so cringey" she said and helly giggled .

"hahah... fine fine.. Let's go.." helly dragged her out of the house .

"huh.. Are we going to walk there?" athy asked confused.

"yeah.. It's just in the corner.. Let's have a good walk" helly said smiling.

'should I tell her?.. No let's keep it a secret from her to surprise her'  helly thought and giggled.

"huh.. Are you thinking about your boyfriend what's with this smile  ?"

athy  asked in a teasing tone and helly nodded a no . They started teasing each other on thier way to pub. As they entered everyone looked at athy  in awe. Some guys stared at her blushed and some tried to approach her but  she shooed them away like it's a piece of cake for her ..

"pfft... you are so good at shooeing them away" helly whispered and chuckled.

"I am tired of  it .. it's  always the same wherever I go " athy sighed. They Sat on the bar  counter  and helly ordered her drink and looked at athy just sitting.

"aren't you going to order?"

"well... I get nauseous  whatever I eat for some days now.. So I think  It's good not to drink today" athy shrugged.

"huh..? Are you okay..? shall we visit the  doc?"

"it's ok.. no need " athy smiled at her. She then ordered plain orange juice and sipped it slowly looking at the others  dancing. Helly got worried she unnecessarily made her remember her problem but athy gave her an  assuring smile that she is OK. They chatted for a a while.. many girls started sitting beside them. Someone touched athy's shoulder and she turned to saw a blonde haired guy standing there looking down at her with a smirk.

Athy  got pissed  and  slipped his hand from her shoulder and glared at him.

"hey.. Don't give me that look.. Let's go  for a  dance " he said with a confident tone.

"pardon..?" she asked in a pissed tone.

"don't act like you are hard to get.. I know girls like you... If you are not convinced with my looks let me tell you I am the only son of  the ceo of xxxx one of the biggest IT companies in Korea .. Now shall we go..? Or are you still not  satisfied..?" he asked in a proud tone.

" I see... so you are a spoiled brat who thinks  the  world was revolving around you.. For your information.. I am not the type of girl you are referring.. So will you get lost..? I  am getting   nauseated  just by looking at you "

athy replied in am mocking tone and helly giggled. The girls sitting their also giggled looking at him. He was so embarrassed , he got mad and pulled  athy's hand  making her stumble standing up from her seat. She tried to shook his hand off her but his grip was so tight which hurt her wrist .. She used all her strength and finally got rid of his grip and gave a hard slap on his cheek.

That guy and his friends was shocked and the girls looked at her surprised.

"you.. How dare you.." he shouted in frustration and throwed a wine glass at her but she easily dodged it.

"what..? Are you going to  break everything here now ?  How old are you..? Five..?" she asked glaring at him and his face turned red in embarassement. Helly and the girls  who can't suppress thier laugh anymore burst out laughing. His friends also got  ashamed and dragged him away cause one of the girls started shooting video of  them on her phone.

She Sat back and sighed.

"that's my girl.. I wanted to see you beat the hell  out of him like you always do Tsk.. He was so weak that he ran away.. Does he think just because he is rich he can talk like that to every girls..?" helena said in  frustration.

"leave it helly..I am exhausted and  It's boring here.. Let's just  go back home."

she said wearing her court. But helena didn't listened to her and waved to someone. Athy saw other girls was blushing gossiping within them  squeeling..

'huh.. What is  this feeling of   deja vu..? Why I feel like he was near me..?' she thought and looked at the direction the girls was looking and saw lucas and cabel walking towards them.. Cabel was smiling and waving to helly and lucas eyes were fixed on athy.. Athy looked at him wide eyed.

he is even more handsome today.. 'she thought and smiled at him. He came near her while she got  up from her seat.. She felt a bit dizzy and tripped but lucas caught her. She looked up and smiled at him.

"hii.. Lucas.."

"hii.. Sia... are you okay?" he asked .
