You had been working from home for Jenna's past trimester, keeping her company and helping her with anything she needed. Now that Jenna was in the second trimester, she was feeling more energy and less nausea, which was a relief for the both of you.

It was clear that Jenna's pregnancy glow had taken full effect, making her look radiant and vibrant. You found yourself gazing at her with a mix of love and wonder.

Y/n: "Babe, you look gorgeous, you're absolutely glowing"

Jenna: "Thanks love, I feel a lot better now that the morning sickness is easing up, it's amazing how quickly your body can change during pregnancy"

Y/n: "Yeah, it's incredible but it seems like you're handling it all like a champ, I don't know how you do it"

Jenna: "Well, having you here to support me definitely helps, pregnancy is definitely a team effort"

Y/n: "I'm just doing what any supportive partner would do, I want to make sure you have everything you need and that you feel loved and appreciated"

Jenna: "Well you're doing an amazing job at it baby, I couldn't have asked for a better partner to go through this with, you're my rock Y/n/n"

Y/n: "And you're mine Jen, we're a team, in sickness and in health, through the good times and the challenging ones, I'm here for you and our baby always"

Jenna: "Hey now, save those words for when we're at the altar saying our vows"

Y/n: "Maybe I'm practicing my wedding vows a bit early but know I mean every word; you're my person for life"

Jenna: "You're going to make me cry but if this is a preview of what your wedding vows will be like, then I'm definitely looking forward to the real thing"

Y/n: "Well I plan on outdoing myself with the actual vows, I want to make sure I show just how much you mean to me and how committed I am to build our life together"

Jenna: "I don't doubt that for a second love, every day you show me just how much you care, I don't need fancy vows to know that you're the one for me, but I'll be happy to hear them when the day comes"

Y/n: "Good because I plan on sweeping you off your feet with my poetic declaration of love"

Jenna: "You don't have to try too hard; you already sweep me off my feet every day with your cheesy pickup lines and your terrible jokes"

Y/n: "Hey now, my pickup lines are smooth, thank you very much and my jokes...okay I'll give you that one but they're endearing I hope"

Jenna: "endearing is one way to put it, but I wouldn't have you any other way, you know how to make me laugh even when I'm feeling cranky or exhausted, just one of the many reasons I love you"

Y/n: "I love you too Jen, more than I could ever put into words and I'll keep trying my best to make you smile every single day"

Jenna: "You're already succeeding babe, just being here for me, helping me through this pregnancy and loving me as I am, that's all I could ever ask for"

Y/n: "And you deserve nothing less, you're an incredible person and I'm honor to be by your side during this journey, we're in it together no matter what"

You wrapped an arm around Jenna, pulling her into a hug. Jenna leaned into the embrace, feeling the warmth and love radiating from your gesture.

Jenna: "Together forever right"

Y/n: "Forever and always, through pregnancy and everything else that comes our way, we'll face it all together"

You held each other for a few minutes basking in the warmth and comfort of your love. No matter what challenges you both may face in the future, your bond was unbreakable, and you both knew you could overcome anything as long as you have each other by your side. .......Jenna is 7months pregnant now and in her last days of filming. You on the other hand would be heading back to L.A. to make sure you have everything ready for when Jenna goes back.

You were getting ready to leave, packing your bags and making sure everything was in order. You were feeling a mix of emotions, excitement about going back to L.A., but also a pang of sadness at having to say goodbye to Jenna, even if only temporarily.

Y/n: "Are you sure you're going to be okay here alone? Because if not I can stay with you for a few more days if you need me to"

Jenna: "I'm not staying alone remember, Emma will still be living with me till filming is over and we head back to L.A."

Y/n: "I know, but I just want to make sure you have everything you need while I'm gone and remember to take it easy okay? No overworking yourself or doing too much, you're still carrying our little one"

Jenna: "I'll be fine babe, I promise I won't overdo it, Emma will keep me in check, and I know you'll be checking in on me from L.A."

Y/n: "Of course I will, I'll be calling you every day, maybe even every hour, and if you need anything like anything at all you know you can call and tell me and in a less than a heartbeat, I will get here"

Jenna: "I know babe, and I appreciate it but don't worry too much, I'm tough remember? I can handle a few days without you, we've been apart before"

Y/n: "I know but this time is different, you're pregnant and you're about to finish filming, it's a lot and I just want to be here for you that's all"

Jenna: "And I have no doubt that you will, you're the most thoughtful, caring person I know, but just remember 'perfect' is relative, so don't stress yourself out over the little things"

Y/n: "I'll try my best not to, but you know how I can be sometimes"

You chuckled lightly, your previous nerves transforming into a lightheartedness. Jenna's words had a way of making your anxieties less daunting and you were grateful for that.

Jenna: "I know, you're a perfectionist but just remember sometimes good enough is...well good enough, we don't need perfect we just need each other"

Y/n: "You're right, we don't need perfect we just need us, I'll try to keep that in mind when I'm setting up the nursery and the rest of the house, no pressure right?"

Jenna: "Exactly, no pressure just take it one step at a time and we'll get there together...speaking of nursery, I have a little something I want to give you before you go"

Y/n: "Oh really? What is it?"

You looked at Jenna curiously, intrigued by the hint of excitement in your voice, you had a feeling it was something special.

Jenna: "Give me a sec, I'll be right back"

She disappeared into the bedroom for a moment, leaving you waiting in anticipation. When she returned, she was holding a small, wrapped package in her hands.

Jenna: "Here open it"

Y/n: "Now I'm really curious"

You took the package from Jenna's extended hand, shaking it lightly to try and guess what was inside. When you couldn't figure it out, you carefully began to unwrap the gift. As you finished unwrapping the gift you found a blue baby onesie that said, 'Mommas little boy', this caused you to drop a tear.

Y/n: "We're having a boy?"

Jenna smiled at your reaction, her heart swelling with love and joy. She nodded softly.

Jenna: "Yes, we're having a boy, I got confirmation at my last doctor's appointment"

Y/n: "How? I'm always with you in every doctor's appointment"

Jenna: "I had a little ultrasound, and they were able to tell the gender, trust me, I wish you could've been there too, but it happened rather spontaneously, and I didn't want you to worry"

Y/n: "So it's official then? We're having a boy?"

You looked down at the onesie in your hand, feeling a wave of emotions wash over you. The thought of a baby boy, your son, filled your heart with love and anticipation for the future.

Jenna: "Yes, it's official, we're having a baby boy"

You let out a shaky breath, trying to process this new information. A boy... A son. You knew you had always envisioned having a little family, but a part of you had been expecting to have a little girl. But now, holding this little onesie, that expectation was surpassed by a wave of excitement and love. You looked up at Jenna, tears welling in your eyes.

Y/n: "I can't believe it, I mean I know we knew we were having a baby, but knowing it's a boy, it makes it so real, you know? And he's healthy?"

Jenna: "Yes, the doctors said he's healthy and growing well, everything looks perfect"

Y/n: "That's amazing, gosh I can't wait to meet him"

Jenna: "Me too"

You gently placed the onesie back into the small box it came in, handling it delicately as if it were the most precious thing in the world.

Y/n: "Now I definitely don't want to go back to L.A., but I have to"

Jenna: "I know, but it's only for a few days, remember? We'll be together again before you know it"

Jenna: "Now go, you don't want to miss your flight now do you?"

Y/n: "I guess I'm off then, I'll message you as soon as I land, okay?"

Jenna: "You better"

She gave you a playful grin, trying to mask the emptiness she already felt from the impending separation

Y/n: "I will, I promise"

You leaned in, giving Jenna a quick but affectionate kiss on the cheek, then gathered your bags and walked toward the door.

Jenna: "Safe travels, I love you"

She called out as you opened the door, a slight tremble in her voice.

Y/n: "I love you too, see you soon"

You responded, waving one last time before stepping out and closing the door behind yourself. Jenna stood in the silent apartment for a moment, the silence feeling deafening without your presence. She placed a hand on her baby bump, feeling a pang of loneliness already. But she took a deep breath and steeled herself, knowing that the time apart would be temporary.

It's official, you and Jenna are having a little baby boy, you're now on your way to L.A., to get your place baby and Jenna ready, before Jenna heads to back to L.A. herself.
