Chapter 33
07:12, 20 February 2016Taehee's POV
"..hee"
"Taehee."
"Taehee!"
"Kim Taehee!"
I snapped out of my trance and popped my head up, accidentally hitting my thighs against the desk. I yelped and slowly died back down in my seat, still wincing.
Solbi sighed and gave a faint chuckle. I rubbed my thighs and looked up with a pouty face. "Sorry Sol did you say something?" Solbi scoffed and nodded as she rested her head on top of her hands.
The classroom was near empty, with a few people inside having small talks between each other.
I brushed my hair back behind my ear and stared at her. She pushed her posture back and stretched her arms up high, relieving the tenseness in her back. I groaned, feeling the soreness expand throughout my body. "You've been spacing out a lot lately, you're not taking this 'no seeing each other' thing really badly aren't you?"
I flinched for a second as the sound of Jinae's giggle was heard from the hallways. I regained my posture and ignored her laughter.
Looking down to my lap, I nodded and sighed. Thinking back, I've been staying up more lately despite the lack of noise that once was in my house.
"It's just I miss them. I could barely stand our only one message a day connection." I smiled sadly and breathed out. "But I understand, he's busy. I can't help that he's living his dream, we just started dating; What right do I have to ruin it? I can't pry into his life like a crazy girlfriend."
She pat my head and grinned before hitting me really hard on the head. "You're an idiot." I winced and rubbed my head.
"Yah! I just hurt my thigh, now my head hurts too." I scolded as I rubbed my head, frustratedly with a scowl. She gave me a smirk and flicked her hair back. "I know I'm fabulous, tell me something I don't know." She shut her eyes and gave me a triumphant look.
I scoffed and threw my book at her proud face, smacking it straight in the middle. Her face turned red quickly as she stood up, pushing the chair back.
"Kim Taehee you little-" I struck a face and stuck my tongue out at her.
She was about it retaliate with a witty remark but my phone began buzzing. We stopped and both looked at my phone which flashed serval times.
Taking out my phone, I sucked in all the air I could and hoped it was Jimin's message. But my smile fell quickly but still I had a happy feeling yet a disappointed one.
Kim Taetae twin ( ̄^ ̄)ゞSubject: YO TAEMessage: music back was cancelled and we have a break, so I'm coming over ~ Hope you didn't touch my stuff, cause you know I hate it when people do.
I furrowed my eyebrows and frowned, they have a break? Why hasn't Jimin sent me a single text message today?
I refreshed my phone and only found Seokjin, Hoseok and Jungkook messaged me today my frowned deepened and my face creased even more than before. Perhaps he's just sleeping for the day, I can't understand that.
"What's wrong?" Solbi asked.
I flinched and shook my head. "No, no it's alright."
Without another second passing, my phone began ringing. Solbi raised an eyebrow and guided her hands to my phone to gesture me that I could pick up my phone.
A sweatdropped, I clasped my hands together as a sign of my thanks and shut one eye while sticking out my tongue.
I picked up my phone.
"Hello?" I asked, waiting for a reply. There was a hazy background sound at the back, I couldn't make out any of the words.
"Hello...?" I re asked but once again there was only a hazy voice. An irk mark as frustration grew in me. I whipped my hand back and tapped my fingertips on the desk, creating a small beat.
"Noona!" I jumped up as I was about to hang up.
I recognised the voice and grinned. "Jungkook!" I cheered to him. "Noona guess where I am!" Before I could answer a loud glass shattering sound was heard in the background.
"Yah Kim Namjoon don't break her dishes again!" I heard Seokjin's voice in the background.
A sweat dropped as I gave a humourless laugh with a deadpan look.
"I hope you guys aren't in my house, breaking my new dishes." I muttered in a smooth dark voice.
There was no answer so I cocked up an eyebrow. The phone hung up, the sound of beeping echoed through my head.
I giggled a little and put my phone down.
"These dorks." I got up from my seat. "I'm going to my locker real quick." I told Solbi halfway through the door. She gave me a wave without taking her eyes off her phone. I chuckled and walked out.
I spotted Jinae fairly quickly, she sat at the end of the hallway with Hani. They didn't seem to notice me until Hani looked up and snickered.
Hani and Jinae rolled their eyes at me at the same time before walking off with a smirk.
Without paying much attention to them, I passed yet another group of girls. One of them bumped my shoulder on purpose, they did it fairly roughly.
"Ouch." I winced as I rubbed my shoulder.
The one who did bump into me laughed before turning around with a horrible grin on her face. "Sorry slut~" she sang as she wiggled her stick like fingers in the air.
I scoffed, "slut? So you're calling Jimin a shameless man? You know as fans you're ruining his image." I made a face of disgust and walked off satisfied after seeing her face.
But still I felt this guilty feeling pitted in my stomach. I sighed to myself as I was out of sight. I leaned my head against my locker, holding onto the metal door as support for my body weight.
"You know you're way too nice for your own good. That's what makes you weak."
I looked up and stared at the unfamiliar boy, his Korean was a little broken and he had a weird accent.
"Who are you?" I asked as I noticed he wasn't in our school uniform. He grinned and extended his arm. "I'm Kang Jun, my Korean's a little bad and I only speak English. I'm going around schools to see which ones best to come to for when I move to Korean next year."
I nodded and pulled my hair to the side, "I'm Kim Taehee, a third year so I guess I'm Sunbae for now since I'll be graduating this year. I might have a friend who you might want to be friends with. Her name's Bae Minji."
He nodded, flipping his fluffy locks to the side.
"It's nice to meet you."

I stood in front of my house, the lights inside were on inside. The loud yells and screams along with the sound of glass breaking and books falling were evident in the house. I sighed and pulled out my key.
Unlocking the door, all the loud sounds lessened. I peeked through the door and instantly noticed all the shoes on the floor.
As soon as I stepped in a large figure pounced onto me, pushing me backwards.
"Welcome back Taehee!" The voice was familiar enough to make me miss it so much. "I'm back Taehyung." He got off of me and pulled me inside. The boys sat around the lounge room with a bunch of food on the low table that replaced my coffee table.
They turned to me. "Welcome back."
"I'm back." I greeted back as I sat down next to Hoseok. "Hey Horse."
"Hey Whale."
We snickered at each other and laughed like we were just two normal friends despite the huge social ranks between us.
"Taehee, what's with the book on your bed? I was trying to take a nap earlier when I found it."
I raised an eyebrow,"you were taking a nap in my bed?"
Hoseok laughed and rubbed the back of his head awkwardly. "Everyone else was taking naps in V's and Jungkook's room. There wasn't space in the lounge room either so I thought why not?"
I groaned and shook my head, "you better have not drooled on my pillow." I warned.
Hoseok flailed his arms in the air. "Of course I didn't!" He paused and sat back down. "So what's with the book?"
I played with my fingers and looked down. "It's a diary type of thing. I just write down feelings and all that junk. Eunha forced me to start one after the boys left; she thinks it'll keep me sane."
Loosening my tie, well in this case, Jimin's tie and noticed something odd. I looked around the room and leaned my back, back to look at the toilet. I turned to Hoseok. "Where's Jimin oppa?"
Hoseok gulped and pitifully looked at me, "he's..." He trailed.
My eyes widened and I bit my lower lip, waiting for him to continue. My heart was beating uncontrollably and a pang of bad feelings stabbed me in my stomach.
"He's hanging out with a friend."
I let out a hasty breath and held my chest. "Thank god I thought something bad happened. He hasn't been texting me lately and has been acting distant." Hoseok laughed dryly as he slapped my arm over and over again.
I winced every time before slapping him. "That hurts! What's with everyone and abusing me? Why does everyone hit me?"
Hoseok stopped laughing and look down. "To protect you from the emotional abuse." He muttered lowly, the words didn't make out to me.
I smiled at him and tilted my head. "What did you say?"
He shook his head and grinned, "nothing. Don't worry about it." I was curious but decided to drop the subject.
Liar.
Liar.
Someone's hiding something big.
