CHAPTER - 11
15:17, 2 September 2025Monday – Day One of Their Two-Week “Dating” :-
Jungkook was on cloud nine. Every fiber of his being buzzed with excitement—finally, his dream was unfolding right in front of him. He was waiting outside the college, fidgeting with impatience, glancing down the street every few seconds. Each minute felt stretched into an eternity, every heartbeat screaming his name.
Then he saw him. Tae. Walking toward him, a soft, effortless smile playing on his lips. Jungkook’s chest clenched—not just at the sight, but at the thought that this smile might be fake, just for the bag. Shaking the doubt away, he ran toward him, face radiant.
Jungkook - Good morning, Taehyungie!
He said, voice bubbling with happiness.
Tae’s stomach fluttered, a strange warmth spreading through him. He simply nodded, trying to appear casual.
Taehyung - Yeah… let’s go
He said, though his heart betrayed him.
They made their way to the amusement park, the air filled with screams of joy and laughter from the rides. Jungkook grabbed Tae’s arm with one hand and pointed to the roller coaster with the other.
Jungkook - Let’s ride this one!
He exclaimed.
Tae tried to pull his arm free, feigning annoyance.
Taehyung - Okay, but let go of me first.
Jungkook only tightened his grip and smiled devilishly.
Jungkook - Don’t forget—you have to act like my boyfriend for two weeks.
Tae sighed, amused but powerless.
Taehyung - Yeah, I know. But aren’t you a bit too clingy?
Jungkook - Bare with me… or forget about your bag.
Jungkook shot back, smirking.
With a resigned groan, Tae let himself be dragged toward the roller coaster.
Jungkook - Don’t waste time, Taehyungie… let’s go! Jungkook shouted gleefully.
Though he pretended to be annoyed, Tae couldn’t deny it—he was enjoying every second. This was different from the flashy, hollow “dates” in clubs or restaurants. This… this felt alive.
Tuesday – Day Two :-
Jungkook waited outside the college again, heart fluttering wildly the moment he saw Tae approaching.
Jungkook - Morning, Taehyungie!
He called, his smile wide enough to make anyone melt.
Tae, for once, returned a smile that was genuinely warm.
Taehyung - Morning.
They went to a small coffee shop, the aroma of roasted beans filling the air. Tae sipped his coffee, pretending to focus on it, while Jungkook’s eyes devoured every detail of him—his expressions, his hands, the curve of his lips.
Jungkook - Taehyungie...
Jungkook said shamelessly, leaning slightly closer.
Taehyung - What?
Tae replied, avoiding eye contact, trying not to show his flustered state.
Jungkook - How can you look so… hot and cute at the same time?
Jungkook asked, eyes sparkling with adoration.
Tae’s face burned crimson, though he tried to hide it behind his cup.
Taehyung - Shut up… just drink your coffee.
Jungkook pouted, obediently taking a sip, though he stole glances at Tae whenever he could.
Time passed in easy conversation, laughter peppered with quiet glances. Jungkook’s happiness radiated, and if someone had offered his life for just these two weeks, he wouldn’t have hesitated.
On their walk home, Jungkook suddenly reached for Tae’s hand. Tae stiffened, caught off guard—but the warmth of the touch made his heart race.
Unbeknownst to them, someone was watching, snapping photos of their entwined hands...
Back at Home :-
Tae dropped his bag and collapsed onto his bed, hands pressed over his chest as his pulse raced.
Taehyung's p.o.v - The hell is happening to me?
He thought.
Taehyung's p.o.v - Two days in, and my heart’s already betraying me. What will happen after two weeks?
Meanwhile, Jungkook returned home, finding his mother sitting on the couch, worry etched across her face.
Mrs. Jeon - Kookie, are you okay?
She asked, rushing toward him.
Jungkook - I’m fine, Mom. What’s wrong?
Jungkook replied casually, though his mind was still buzzing from the day.
Mrs. Jeon - Where were you, baby? I told you not to go anywhere… tomorrow is your—
Jungkook - Don’t worry. It’s been postponed
Jungkook cut in.
Mrs. Jeon’s eyes widened.
Mrs. Jeon - Postponed? But he said it had to be done immediately! How could it be postponed?
Jungkook shifted nervously, avoiding her gaze.
Jungkook - Umm… he said everything’s fine, so we can do it next week.
Mrs. Jeon - And the fees I gave you?
She asked.
Jungkook swallowed, forcing a calm expression.
Jungkook - He took it in advance.
Mrs. Jeon - But he didn’t tell me… wait, let me call him
She said, reaching for her phone.
Jungkook tilted his head, eyes wide with innocent pleading.
Jungkook - Mom… don’t you trust me?
Mrs. Jeon - I do, baby, but—
Jungkook - No buts. We’ll talk later. I’m in a great mood today. Please… don’t spoil it
Jungkook flashed a bright smile and went inside his room without speaking a single more word.
