Author's note

Hello! Just want to do some quick clarification here (idk if anyone actually wondered about it but I wanted to just clear it up anyways). The reason why I portray Sam and Bucky in this fic the way I do is because, well, in the fic they are both neurodivergent (I know neither of them are in the comics or the mcu, but this fic isn't connected to the mcu at all, it's its own timeline). As I previously mentioned, Bucky has anxiety. As for Sam, he has autism in this fic, but it's high-functioning. I thought it'd be rather interesting to portray them like this, as I struggle with both conditions myself and I thought it'd be a good idea to create 2 characters within my stories that my audience could relate to, and be able to perfectly understand why they may feel this way and such. So uh, yeah! I hope ya'll are enjoying the fic, and I should have the next chapter soon!
