9. Training with Kakashi is Hell

Kakashi left the room hurriedly, not wanting to face my wrath.

I was absolutely mortified. I don't mind girls seeing me like this, but my sensei whom I had a crush on for two lives straight saw me like this.

"Yes, Akina chan?" Sakura spoke with an overly sweet voice.

"Why did you remove my clothes?" I glared at her. 

She glared at me. "You irresponsible baka! Do you know how many scratches and bruises you had?"

I frowned. "I barely got hit."

Sakura shook her head. "You must've gotten hit with a poisonous senbon or something. I think its 'Bleeding Death'. The symptoms were similar to that and its the most common poison to exist. Luckily, I was carrying an antidote."

"I've never heard of that. What are its symptoms?"

"Well, like the name suggests the number of bruises and cuts on your body increase hourly and it messes with the body refusing your blood to clot. Its a slow and painful death but its used for weakening the enemy mostly. He could've used a much more dangerous poison which he didn't. In conclusion, he didn't want to kill you."

"Holy... But that doesn't explain how I was almost naked in front of bakashi!" I exclaimed.

Sakura grinned. "There were cuts all over your chest, stomach and legs. I needed to tend to them and then I put bandages all over your body till your mid thighs."

"You saw me naked?!" I covered my non existent chest by folding my hands over them. 

"Come on, we are girls. There wasn't much to see either. You are flatter than me." She scoffed.

I pouted as purple depression lines covered me.

"Y-you didn't even sugarcoat it. I'm a late bloomer."

"E-eh! What's with those depression lines?" Sakura shrieked.

She helped me get ready as I went on sulking. We went downstairs for breakfast

"Ohayo Sakura chan, Akina chan! Kakashi sensei said he's going to trai- Akina chan! What's that around your head?"

My mood plummeted down. I normally wouldn't have cared about 'it' but for some reason I was bothered. I never felt like this when I was on Earth. Why now?

"I-I don't know. It happened suddenly." Sakura defended herself.

"Akina, what happened?" Sasuke shook me by my shoulders.

I looked up at him with tears in my eyes. "Sakura called me flat!"

Naruto and Sasuke looked confused. Sakura face palmed and Kakashi sweat dropped. Tsunami who was listening to our conversation laughed loudly. 

"Sakura chan! Never comment on that." She lightly scolded Sakura.

I beamed. "You are the best Tsunami!" I hugged her. Sasuke gave up on trying to understand me as he went back to his meal. Kakashi continued to read his book.

"Girls are weird dattebayo." Naruto huffed. Sasuke nodded in agreement. Sakura and I sat down to eat.

Kakashi gave the boys a smile. "Maa, you will have to deal with this forever now. I think you should start taking notes on what they like and dislike otherwise you might die." 

The boys paled dramatically. 

"Why do you say that sensei?" Sakura teased. Kakashi scratched the back of his head.

"Well, there was a team mate of mine who used to act exactly like you and Akina at this age. Team 8's Jonin sensei, Kurenai Yuhi was a big pain when she got angry. She used to get abusive. Asuma told me stories."

"Tell us about your genin team dattebayo!" Naruto asked. Sasuke and Sakura turned curiously towards Kakashi to know more. He laughed nervously.

I smirked. "I don't know about you guys but I am going to training so I can kick Haku and Zabuza's ass when I see them again. Sensei, I need you to help me." 

I dragged Kakashi outside as Team 7 thanked Tsunami for the meal and came outside. Kakashi gave me a nod of thanks as I grinned back.

"Now then, Tazuna san is getting ready to go to the bridge. We will go with him there and start our training to go against them. Akina do you have information about them?" 

I frowned as I lied. "Not really."

Naruto groaned. "You say you explain later about how you know all this stuff but never do dattebayo! Tell us too." Sakura nodded her head in agreement.

"You won't believe me when I say this but I get glimpses of the future. Its not always accurate though. Its... a kekkei genkai of the Senju." Kakashi's posture relaxed.

He thought I was going to tell them the truth. Ha! As if.

Sasuke nodded his head. "I figured. But I never knew the Senju had such abilities."

I smiled. "Clan secret. You would understand right, Sasuke?"

Naruto became excited. "Will I become the Hokage?" 

I smiled as I ruffled his hair. "It depends.. The future is continuously changing isn't it?"

Sakura shot me a questioning glance. "Does he become the Hokage in what you've seen so far?"

Naruto turned to look at me, hope glistening in his eyes. Sakura, Sasuke and Kakashi leaned in unknowingly to find out. I let out a nervous laugh.

"Provided that everyone is still alive after the war, sure, why not?" With that I pranced over to Tazuna who had just come out and started talking to him animatedly.

"D-do you think she was joking?" Sakura stuttered.

Sasuke for the first time in his life was nervous about the future. He had only 2 things to worry about in life, killing Itachi and restoring his clan. What did she mean by that? Would a war break out soon? Was the future really this bad? Will he even be alive? Will anyone? The Uchiha realized that he was actually worrying about his own team. After the massacre he only worried about himself but now, Team 7 had broken down his walls. Even that pervert of a sensei, specific idiotic blonde and a pinkette had a small place in his heart even though he refused to accept it. 

Naruto for the first time in his life did not know what to say. The questions swirling in all their minds would have to remain unanswered for the time being. Everyone was afraid. Was she kidding or not? No one asked her, afraid for the answer. They would all die? Naruto refused to believe it. He'd save everyone and then become the Hokage.

Kakashi kept his emotionless facade on but inside he was horrified. Would his whole life just consist of fighting in wars? Will he have to see more comrades die? Will he die and meet his old team? A small part of him just wished there was a way to stop all these wars. He couldn't see any more of his team mates die. Team 7 had become his new family and he wouldn't let anyone die as long as he was there. This just fueled his determination to protect his comrades. He'd train them to defend themselves.

Sakura acted as if she wasn't bothered much by the rules. But she was scared. She didn't want to lose anyone close to her. Her parents asked her again and again to rethink her decision of becoming a kunoichi but she was persistent. It was now she truly realized that Akina was carrying such a burden on her 12 year old shoulders. She knew the future, she knew how they would die. How does she manage it, the burden of knowing how your comrades die? Sakura got a new found respect for the kunoichi in front of her. This world.. truly is cruel. Being a civilian born she couldn't imagine the horrors shinobi see everyday. This was just the beginning and she'll be damned if she's not going to protect her comrades.

After a long silence I called them over. "Are we going or not?"

I wonder what they were thinking about. They all looked so down yet their eyes had some new emotion in them... Did I say something?

Slowly they made their way towards us and we head out silently.

After reaching the bridge, Tazuna started working with his friends and Kakashi gathered us.

"During the fight, what did you observe? Tell me. Observation is a very important skill a shinobi should have." 

Naruto surprisingly spoke up first. "Zabuza uses water style, so Akina chan can combat him with earth style or even you, Kakashi sensei." 

Kakashi nodded. "Yes, you are right. But even a fire style user can battle a water style user, providing that fire is stronger than water. Now see what I am drawing on the scroll and pay attention carefully."

"This figure shows the relationship between chakra natures. Let's take Naruto and Sasuke's chakra natures. Naruto, you have wind. Sasuke has lightning and fire. Now from the diagram we can see that fire defeats wind. But if wind is added to a fire attack, the fire jutsu will become much more powerful and will be more effective."

"So if the dobe and I go against a water style user and work together we will have higher chances of defeating him?" 

Kakashi nodded. "Exactly. But even you and Sakura can go together up against an enemy by using your water and lightning nature chakras. Luckily our team has a combination of all chakra natures, including wood. So when we go back to Konoha I'll explain more of this in detail. Now one thing I've noticed is that your reflexes and speed is too slow. So that's what I'm going to help you guys with. Especially Sakura and Naruto. Now, does anyone have weights?"

Sasuke and I nodded. 

"I actually have a few right now." I spoke up.

"Good. The next few days are going to be filled with dodging weapons especially senbon, running and dodging my attacks for reflexes."

Naruto brightened up. "That doesn't seem so bad."

Kakashi gave us a sinister smile. "You have to do everything with weights including eating, sleeping and bathing."

I shivered. He's as bad as my parents. I looked in my pouch and took out a scroll placing it on the ground. The scroll revealed to have weights and kunais for training along with shurikens and swords.

"You knew this was going to happen?" Sakura asked.

"Surprisingly, no. It was something.. different. Yo- We were doing the tree walking exercise. I'm just over prepared." I poked my two fingers together. 

"This is your training kit. You carry it everywhere with you." said Sasuke.

"How do you know that?" I narrowed my eyes at him.

He turned away a slight blush on his face. "Hn. I don't have to explain myself to you."

Kakashi instructed us to wear our weights and they did.

"Akina, why aren't you wearing them?"

"Because I already have them on." I smirked. "My parents have been doing the same thing for me since I was 9. Every month I increase the weights."

Naruto let out a sound of understanding. "That's why you were so heavy dattebayo!" I giggled.

Kakashi looked impressed. "Well, looks like I have to teach 3 brats then. Akina keep your weights the same for now." Kakashi smiled as he did the hand symbols for a jutsu I couldn't recognize.

"Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Jutsu)!" 

Three cute dogs appeared in front of us, one of them being Pakkun. 

I squealed as I attempted to grab the dog. 

"Not now, Akina. Now Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto I want you to run around the whole village at least 5 times. My cute puppies will be keeping an eye on you and if you stop, the consequences won't be good. Be on the lookout for enemy nin and inform my summonings if you see one. All the best." 

The three began running and I whistled. "I kinda feel sad for them."

"Worry about yourself first. I'm going to be throwing kunai, shuriken and senbon at you from all directions. Dodge them using weapons. Begin!" 

Kakashi disappeared and a senbon scratched my right arm.

"Shit!" I took out my kunai and blocked the barrage of oncoming attacks by back flipping. I was doing rather well until sensei drastically increased the speed. I could barely think as I was twisting, jumping and dodging in ways I didn't know were possible. A kunai lodged itself in my leg and I hissed in pain as I took it out and continued. Sensei was merciless as he went on increasing the speed. It went on for 15 minutes when I fell down, panting heavily with blood coming out of my cuts and bruises. 

Kakashi sensei stopped as he looked down at me. "You did well. Have you done this before?"

I shook my head breathing heavily.

"Drink some water. We start the exercise again but this time I want you to remove your weights. I want to see your maximum potential."

I nodded as I drank water and stood up after removing the weights from my hand and legs. I felt much more lighter as if I was floating.

I smirked. "It's gonna be much better this time. I've been wearing those straight for two years."

"Begin!"

After 1 hour of training 

3rd  person POV

Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto returned exhausted back to the bridge. The city was huge and they couldn't even rest. Sakura fainted and that's when they took a 10 minute break for water. They were all holding each other up as they stumbled while walking.

"I wonder how Akina chan is doing. S-she might be better than us." Naruto panted.

Pakkun spoke up. "She might be worse than you guys. Kakashi hasn't called us for training in so long and if he personally trains someone, they're going through hell. I feel bad for that kid."

Sasuke's eyes widened as he saw the Senju lying down, tons of scratches going up and down her body, blood dripping out of a few specific wounds. He forgot his own fatigue as he went running towards her, Sakura and Naruto following him.

"Akina chan! What happened? Were you ambushed?!" Naruto freaked out at the site of his team mate.

Akina opened her eyes with a smile. "Hey guys! How was training? Mine is going brutal but it's so worth it."

Sakura started to heal her wounds. "What happened?"

She chuckled. "Don't blame sensei for this. I overworked myself and fainted. I think sensei is talking to Tazuna san over there."

Sasuke glared at Akina and she cowered on the look on his face.

"W-why are you glaring at me?"

"Hn." Sakura sweat dropped. 

"Yeah, I totally understand your emotions with a single word. You don't need to explain it to me." Akina huffed.

Naruto scratched his head. "I'm going to die before I battle them. Kakashi sensei is merciless."

Kakashi walked over towards his students. "Maa, how are my kawai genin doing?"

"We're in hell." Sakura laid down next to her female teammate, staring at the sky. 

Kakashi laughed. "Akina, get ready to begin again. This time increase the weight of your weights by five months. I'll go at a slower speed. You three... take rest. I don't think you can move. Observe Akina's training because after some time, you'll have to be throwing the weapons at her." 

Akina paled. 

Sensei really wants to kill her. the three thought.

Meanwhile Kakashi was smiling under his mask as he thought it was a very appropriate time for payback for all the perverted jokes she's cracked during missions. 

Akina got to her feet and and took a stance with her kunai. Her legs felt like jelly under the weights and it was getting hard for her to even hold her kunai.

"Start sensei!"

Kakashi became a blur as he kept on exchanging his positions to throw weapons at her. She was moving slowly, sluggishly. Kunai and senbon were getting stabbing and scratching her continuously as she got used to the weights and started moving faster to dodge his attacks. Kakashi hummed in approval and made her keep going until she collapsed from exhaustion. Sakura got up and went to check up on her.

"She fainted due to exhaustion. She'll wake up in some time. We should let her rest here." 

Tazuna walked up towards them. "What happened to the kid? We didn't get attacked did we?"

Kakashi laughed while scratching his neck lightly. "Maa, I must've trained her too hard."

Sasuke scoffed. "That was an understatement. Now train us. Our break is over." The Uchiha acted tried to act as if he was not bothered but anyone could see the frequent looks he shot at the unconscious girl with furrowed eyebrows.

"Hai! You three will be facing the same exercise as Akina. Except you will start with minimum weights." Kakashi clapped his hands as he gave them his infamous smile.

No one could deny the shudder than ran through their bodies. 

"Sensei, sure is sadistic dattebayo." Naruto muttered nervously. Sakura could only nod in agreement.

The following day was spent training like that continuously with breaks in the middle of course. Dodging attacks from sensei and running around the village was the only thing they did for two days straight.

As Kakashi would say,

"It was a very good day na mina?" 

The students, each being carried by one ninken could not respond for they were sleeping. 

HIIII!!!!!!

This was a small chapter only 2928 words. This was a filler chapter to show how hard they actually work. I'm pretty sure that if Kakashi trained them in the anime, they would be much more stronger and prepared. And he would be very brutal. This is to show that Akina isn't op/a Mary Sue character. She has to work hard as well but she currently is the strongest in the team.

Sorry for the lack of fluff! You guys are getting a lot of it soon anyways.

Anyways I apologize for the late update. I was busy. Anyways, I've finished writing the Zabuza arc and I'm slowly approaching the Chunin exams arc.
