Arielle Drozdov hums to a song as she does her homework. Isabelle Lightwood was her best friend. She was next to Arielle. Arielle steals a piece of Isabelle muffin. Isabelle glares at Arielle when she notices that most of the muffin was gone.

Arielle suddenly feels someone picking her up from behind. She squeals and turns around to look at the person. She smiles wide. Both lean and kiss.

"Hey, no PDA while I'm here." Her best friend Isabelle says. Alec Lightwood and Arielle separate. Alexander Lightwood was Arielles boyfriend and Isabelle's brother. Arielle gives Isabelle a playful glare.

"No, no, no. I know that look in your eye." Simon says to Clary was they approached the three. "And when you get that look, I either have to caffeinate you immediately or accept full responsibility for you killing someone. And you know how I am with blood." Simon says grimacing. Both Arielle and Isabelle look at Clary's necklace.

"Is that new?" Isabelle asks Clary as she squints her eyes to look at it closely. Arielle and Alexander talk to each other through their eyes.

"Yes, I got it a couple days ago." Clary answers. Arielle looks at both of the girls back and forth.

"Oh, it goes with your dress?" Arielle asks Clary. Clary gives Arielle a dirty look. Arielle gives Clary a confused look. Arielle and Clary were friends but they weren't close as Arielle and Isabelle are.

"Yeah, because you're getting ready at my place tonight, right?" Isabelle asks her. She gives Clary a confused look. She had seen the look she gave Arielle.

"Ready for what?" Clary looks between them with a confused expression. Olivia, Arielle twin approaches then.

"That is not even a little bit funny." Alexander tells her with a serious look. "Arielle rubs his arm.

"The party, duh." Olivia says going next to her girlfriend. Clary looks at Olivia surprised. Olivia puts a arm around Isabelle.

"Alec has literally poured his whole heart and soul into the planning the anniversary party for the Institute. And the theme is amazing." Arielle says waving her fingers. Clary hums awkwardly.

"But, seriously, what is with this guy and the Mad Hatter?" Alexander says putting his chin on Arielles head. Arielle takes a sip of her coffee.

"Visionaries are quirky crazy. You don't get 4D internet tech thinking inside the box." Isabelle says with a nerdy tone. Arielle snorts. She puts her hand on top of her mouth. Olivia rolls her eyes at her girlfriend.

"I'm begging to wonder if you don't have a thing for your boss." Alexander tells her. Isabelle chuckles nervously while Olivia glares at Alexander. Clary just raises her eyebrows.

"Like, if Clary's dad would ever go for me." Isabelle says twirling her braid. Arielle sips her coffee again as she watches the scene.

"Wait, my dad?" Clary asks her shocked. Arielle tries to hold in her laugh. Olivia looks at her annoyed.

"Uh..." Isabelle scoffs. "No, in totally kidding." Isabelle says as Alexander shakes his head at Clary. "I mean, I'm not crushing on your dad, right? I have Liv." She stammers. "No."

"Right, of course not. That'd be totally weird." Clary says looking at the other in a panicked expression.

"Yeah. Mmm-hmm." Isabelle says putting on her earphones. Olivia sighs and takes off her arm from Isabelle's shoulder.

"I need a drink." She says walking away. Simon comes up to them.

"Orders up." He says setting down the coffee on the table. "We're setting up at 6:00, right?" He asks Arielle and Alexander. They nod. "Yeah, okay. I need your help tonight... loading." He tells Clary. "This gig could be...huge for me."

"Hey." Jace comes up to Clary. Jonathan Herondale was Clary's boyfriend and Arielles enemy. They didn't get along. He got on her nerves. She thought he gave off fruity vibes, not that it was a bad thing. That was the only thing she liked about him.

"Hey." Clary says to him smiling. He gets closer to her face.

"You wanna get out of here?" He tells her. She looks at him confused.

"Sure." She says looking at him unsure. They walk away. The other four look at them go. Jace and Clary start making out.

"What is this a whore house." Arielle says smirking. Alexander shakes his head at his girlfriend.

"Shush." He tells her. They let out a laugh. Simon puts an arm around his girlfriend as they watch something on Isabelle's phone. Olivia comes back and goes into Simons arm. Clary out of nowhere runs away from Jonathan.

"She finally found out how bad of a kisser he was." Arielle says taking the rest of Isabelle's muffin.

"Yeah, and how do you know he's a bad kisser?" Alexander asks her. He hums.

"Spin the bottle, duh. But don't worry, it was so bad I had to wash my mouth for an hour." Arielle says with an exaggerated tone.

"Hey, calm down it's okay. Clary will do her magic." Arielle tells Isabelle. Isabelle went boxing and got hit on the face. Now's she's crying. Clary opens the door.

"What's the emergency?" Clary asks coming in fast. Both Isabelle and Arielle look at Clary. "My god, what happened?" Clary asks her worried.

"Kickboxing class. I thought, "Why not? Quick class after work. And, boom! Home in time to see you."." Isabelle says panicking.

"Well, you got the "Boom!" Right." Clary says sarcastically.

"Andrea's big foot right into my face." Isabelle says making Arielle chuckle.

"She has a big big foot." Arielle says standing up from the bed.

"She has to pick today to finally roundhouse?" Isabelle says. Her accent peaking out.

"It's...it's okay. We'll fix it." Clary tells her calmly. Arielle points to Isabelle knowing she's going to panic more.

"Oh, my God. What are people going to think? And then Alexander and basically Ariel worked so hard to plan this. I just cannot not go to the party." Isabelle says panicking. "And what am I supposed to do?" Arielle goes up to Isabelle and grabs her shoulder.

"Get yourself together. Calm down. Clary's going to help you. You are going to be the most beautiful one in the room. Okay?" Arielle says shaking Isabelle. Isabelle nods. "Okay." Arielle says putting her on the bed.

"But then we have to fix you clary and Jace because the two of you not talking really messes with my chi." Isabelle says. Arielle gives her a cup of water making Isabelle look at her confused. She then looks at Clary. "Are you sure those are the colors?"

"We will make it work." Clary says taking off Isabelle's glasses.

"Okay, because if I don't show up to the party, your dad, Simon and Liv are so gonna kill me." Isabelle says fast.

"Like your mom says, "ay dios mio", calm down." Arielle tells her. "Your making get anxiety." She says as she fans her self with the invitation.

"So, um...do you guys think you could get a friend of mine on the guest list for tonight?" Clary asks out of nowhere. Arielle shrugs.

"Um...well, if you make this work, I'll do anything for you." Isabelle says nodding.

"If you get me food after work for the whole week I'll think about." Arielle says munching on chips.

Arielle and Isabelle go through the Mad Hatter filter. They both laugh as they mad faces. They walk towards their boss. Valentine Morgenstern.

"See, I was obsessed when I was a kid. Alice looked into the mirror and fell into another dimension. Well, it must have stuck with me, because, when I grew up, I looked into the internet and realized it need another dimension." He says to some guests.

"And our 4D breaking-the-speed-barrier internet was born." Isabelle says after him. Arielle nods.

"Says one of my talented developers." He says grabbing her shoulder then he kisses her head. Isabelle looks to the side with a look Arielle was suspicious about.

"People said I was mad, so..." Valentine puts on a hat. "I owned it, hmm?" Simon comes up to Valentine.

"Thank you so much for the gig, Mr. M." Simon says all smiley.

"Simon, how many times do I have to tell you?" Valentine tells him.

"Sorry...Val." Simon says in a slightly panicked tone. They do a hand shake.

"Poker night. Next Saturday, all right?" Valentine says. Simon nods.

"Yes! Is Blackwell gonna be there? 'Cause that guy is a sore loser." Simon says pulling Isabelle to him.

"Yeah, that's 'cause you bled him dry." Valentine says. Simon and Isabelle walk away. Arielle sees Jocelyn walk towards Valentine so she runs off. Arielle walks towards Alexander. They both smile at each other.

"There you are beautiful." Alexander says to Arielle. She giggles as she goes into his arms. They start to dance side to side.

"You would totally look hot with tattoos." Arielle tells him. He hums and smirks.

"Yeah? Will I now." He says amused. Arielle hums. Her eyes trail to a man. He was trying to get in. Alexander look where her eyes were set. "Let's see what's going on." Alexander tells her. She hums.

"I told you, I'm on the list." The man says.

"You're not here." One of the workers tell the man. The man lookers familiar to Arielle. Bother Alexander and Arielle walk up to them.

"What seems to be the problem?" Alexander asks. Arielle looks at the man up and down.

"This one wants to crash the party." The worker says. Arielle rolls her eyes. The man looks at them nervously.

"I'll be responsible for this one." Alexander tells the worker. Arielle waves for him to come over.

"Come on in." Arielle tells him. The three walk in. Arielle and Alexander grab tea cups. Alexander gives the man a cup. The three click the cups.

"To us." Alexander says making Arielle snort. "And you are?" He asks.

"Magnus Bane." The man answers. Arielle realized where she seen him from. She saw him on an ad.

"Alec Lightwood." Alexander tells him.

"Arielle Drozdov. I've seen you on a ad before. It was about tarot cards or something." Arielle tells Magnus.

"Yeah, and thanks but I'm... I gotta go." Magnus tells them. Arielle pouts.

"Playing hard to get." Alexander says looking at Magnus as he walks away.

"We do love a challenge." Arielle says smirking. She grabs Alexander's hand.
