23: Kiss?

Third Person's POV

"I like you" He said making her heartbeat to beat faster than its normal beat. She just got shocked to the words he said.

"Of-ofcourse, y-you like me be-because i-i'm your bestf-friend" she stuttered.

"No, I like you" Jimin said with sincerity on his voice. He really like her.

Haesoo stopped. And then she laughed. Jimin was startled at her sudden reaction, he didn't expect that she will laugh at his confession.

"Yah! Don't joke around like that!" She keeps on laughing, she thought that Jimin was just joking. Her eyes was now teary, she can't help but to laugh as if there's no tomorrow.

"What's funny?" Jimin is now irritated. "I just confessed to you, laughing as your reply is inappropriate"

"Nothing. Your joke was so funny" She's still laughing.

Jimin grabbed Haesoo's waist and he put their bodies closer to each other. That made Haesoo to stop. He stared at her eyes deeply, the staring got more intense and by a blink of an eye.... Jimin kissed her.

Haesoo was startled at him.

"Kiss? What the hell is happening?!" She said through her mind.

They kissed under the stars as if this is their last moment. He kissed her softly but Haesoo didn't kissed back.

Jimin keeps on kissing her lips, he liked the taste of the chocolate ice cream that was left in her lips. He liked this moment, he closed his eyes but Haesoo didn't.

She doesn't know what to do or what to react, she didn't even know this. Jimin patiently waiting for her to kiss him back and he put closer and closer her body to his and he deepened the kiss making her to startle more.

The moment was like a dream, she can't still believe that this is happening. This time, Haesoo finally kissed him back tasting his soft pink lips.

They kissed like forever. Then, they broke the kiss gasping for air.

"W-what w-was th-that?!" She's still stuttering and the happenings can't sync in to her mind.

Jimin smiled. "That's the proof"

"Proof what?"

"Are you really slow or you're just annoying me?" He said.

"I'm serious here Jimin" she replied, her face was obvious that she's really serious and irritated.

"That kiss is the proof that I like you" He smiled again.

There was a long pause, Haesoo doesn't know how to respond to him. Yes, she likes him but the fact that Jimin just confessed to her was very wrong. Jimin and her are bestfriends for a long time. She don't want to ruin that relationship.

"Now..... can I date you? I mean, you can have your time to think. I don't want you to pressure yourself. I can wait Haesoo" Jimin said while holding her hands.

"Uh..uhmm" She doesn't know what to say.

"I'm serious Haesoo, don't worry" He laughed. Then he kissed her forehead.

"But Jimin-" he interupted her.

"Our friendship will be ruined?" Jimin finished.

She nodded her head.

"What if I date you, we are already happy then something happened. We always argue and then we will break up and never meet or talk to each other again?" She said with her saddest tone of her voice.

"You're overthinking too much. Don't worry, I'll never leave you" he said.

"People always come into your life and then suddenly, they will go and leave you" she replied.

"I won't leave you promise" he replied.

"Give me some time to think" she said.

"Okay" Jimin pecked her lips.

Haesoo got startled.

"Yah! What was that?!" She shouted.

"Nothing~" he sung.

"It seems so different you know? Your bestfriend kisses you out of nowhere. And you're not used to that?" She's so blushy while saying it. "Don't attempt to do that or else..."

"Or else what?"

"Don't mind it. I'll go home now" she started to walk faster.

Jimin laughed at her reaction. He ran to her and he held her cold hands. Haesoo tried to remove his hands from her but his grip was too strong. But she liked it, the feeling of his hands warmth her and she felt secured by his side. His hands showed the love whag she was finding.

But, she's still curious. She doesn't know what love is.

"Haesoo" Jimin said.

"Yes?" She immediately replied.

"Don't get rid of me just because I confessed to you"

"Why would I ignore and get rid of you?"

"Just... don't ignore me okay?"

"O-okay" she smiled.

Haesoo's POV

"What?!!" Xiaoyou shouted through the phone.

"Hey, calm down" I chuckled.

"Jinjja?! Does he really confessed to you?" She squealed.

"Yeah"

"How? I mean, how did he liked you?"

"I don't know either" I sighed.

"I can't still believe it. You're just crushing him and unexpectedly, he confessed to you. And you know what?"

"What?" I smiled.

"I really envy you. It's like a dream come true, Soo-yah!"

"Why don't you date Jungkook instead?" I laughed.

"No way, he likes you for your information"

"But, I don't really know what to do" I whined.

"If I were you, I would date Jimin" she said.

"But you're not me" I laughed again.

"Bye now, see you later" She said.

I decided to walk today. I really don't want to attend school. But I have to. To be honest, I was expecting Jimin to pick me up but he didn't showed up. I'm still wondering where is he.

I turned around hoping to see him following me. But, there's no signs of him.

I sadly walked towards our campus' gate and slowly entered our department.

"Sooyah!" Xiaoyou called me and tapped a chair beside her.

"Oh! Xiaoyou. I miss you" I ran to her and hugged her.

"What where's Jimin?" She asked.

"I don't know" I sadly said.

"Uwuu, little tiny Haesoo is sad. Do you miss him?"

"No. He just- he didn't showed up this morning" I pouted.

Our professor interupted us. She keeps on lecturing and I can't focus to her. This is all Jimin's fault.

I secretly opened my phone to see if he messaged me through SNS. I already opened my Instagram, Twitter, WeChat, Messaging, Kakao Talk, Facebook but still no signs of him.

"Ms. Jin? I wasn't informed that using cellphone during discussion is allowed" Mrs. Choi crossed her arms looking at my phone and I quickly hid it to my pockets.

I stood up and bowed. "Jesuhamnida" I said.

"It's okay. Just don't do it again, okay?" She smiled.

"Oh- Yes" I akwardly smiled back.

Someone is running through the hallway. He caught everyone's attention. And he entered the room.

"Sorry, I'm late"
