Ch. 6: You Didn't Know

<~Rydel's POV:I don't understand! Why doesn't Ross want me to be with Calum. This makes no sense to me. Calum likes me and I like him, we're a perfect match. I mean I was excited when Ross told me he liked Laura, why can't he be excited for me?I take a sip of my water that was sitting on my nightstand. I needed to calm down. -----------After crying my eyes out for about an hour I snuck out of my room. I had to talk to Calum, but the only one who has his number is Ross. I had to find his phone to get Calum's number. But I can't let Ross see me. Although he's probably on his phone right now.I crept down the stairs and to my surprise Ross' phone was sitting right on the counter and no one was around! Maybe this is a sign that Calum and I should be together! Well either way in taking it as a sign. I snatched Ross' phone and flipped through his contact list.Lets see,Mom,Dad,Riker,Laura<3Ahhhh. He put a heart by Laura's name.Anyways.Raini,Calum.Yes finally!I quickly put Calum's number in my phone. I set down Ross' phone exactly the way it was before to hide any evidence I was here before I darted back up to my room.I called Calum.(Phone conversations will be like this not anything else.)Rydel: Hey Calum!Calum: R-Rydel? Is that you! Calum laughed. He sounded surprised that it was me calling.Rydel: Yeah! I just wanted to say sorry about Ross' behavior...I don't know what got into him. He's not like that...ever. Oh and I really do like you Calum.Calum: Yeah it was a little strange. But it's not your fault. And I really like you too.OMG he said he likes me! Yay!Rydel: That's really sweet, Calum. And I don't think Ross has any say to if we date or not.Calum: I agree. So Rydel. . . Would you like to go on a date with me?Rydel: I'd love too!Calum: Okay. How's tomorrow at seven? I'll pick you up.Rydel: Perfect! I'll be ready. Bye Calum!I hung up. Yes! I have a date with Calum! Could life get any better?I skip out the door excitedly. I was humming to myself when I bumped into Ross."What happened to that frown?" He teased. He was acting like I wasn't mad at him.I glared at him. Should I tell him. Not yet or he might do something to Calum."Leave me alone." I grumbled, shoving him out of my way. There goes my good mood. -------------<~Ross' POV:I sigh as Rydel walks away. I wish she wasn't mad at me. She was so happy and then I reminded her he was mad. I wonder what brought her mood up anyways? ----------Then next day I waited for Laura outside her dressing room. I needed to talk to her. I knew she liked me but she doesn't want to date because of Austin and Ally.A few minutes later she finally came."Ross, what are you doing?" Laura asked with a small laugh."Waiting for you." I replied with a smile.She rolled her eyes playfully, "Okay Ross. What's up?" She questioned. Resting her hands on her hips."Well the other day...you told me you wanted to stay friends..." I began but she interrupted me."Actually...haha. I want to be more than that." She said while blushing.I could feel my smile widening, "R-really?" I stuttered. I was speechless.She nodded.I opened my arms gesturing for her to jump into my arms and that's exactly what she did.As we hugged I whispered something in her ear."So does this mean your my girlfriend?" I ask.She kisses me before replying, "Yes."-----------<~Laura's POV:Finally Ross and I are dating. I'm so happy. I even kissed him today! I'm like freaking out! I have to tell Raini and Calum!I see Raini walk out of her dressing room and I run up to tell her."Raini!" I called, "I have to tell you something!" I couldn't even hold in my excitement."Yeah?" She asked. She sounded...depressed. But why?"Wait...are you okay?" I asked.She shook her head, "Wait...did you hear?" She asked."Hear what?" I asked nervously. I had lost my happiness. Something's wrong."Wow you don't know..." She sighed, "Calum quit Austin and Ally." She said.----------<~Raini's POV:"What!" Laura exclaimed. She seemed pretty upset too. I mean what's Austin and Ally without Calum?I nodded sadly. I felt a little bad for ruining her happy mood. I never even heard why she was happy."Why would he quit?" She asked, confused."Because he doesn't want to work with Ross." I answered."Wait...I thought they were friends? I'm really confused. Why doesn't he want to work with Ross?" She asked.I shrugged, "He didn't say. Maybe you should ask Ross." Laura sighed, "That's really weird. Ross didn't say anything to me about it."I sniffed. I just wanted to change the subject, "So what did you want to tell me?" I ask her.Laura sighed, "Um..It doesn't matter anymore. I'll tell you later. I have to go talk to Ross! See ya later Raini!" Laura called. She waved goodbye and ran off.I wonder what happened between Calum and Ross.---------------------------------------------A/N: Sorry for taking forever again!
