Chapter 37

February 2024

Emily POV

It's the first day of tour and we are in Belfast. Since the first run of tour is in the Europe counties the management decided to give us hotel rooms to sleep at since we are going to travel by plane. Niall and I are sharing a hotel room while everyone else are having their rooms. I'm excited for tour and today is the first tour show. I'm excited for the fans to hear new music from Niall. Also, I'm excited for Niall to perform these songs in front of the fans because he has been talking about this day forever and it's finally happening. Since it's the first day of tour Niall has some things to do today like interviews, live performances and some signing. He is going to be busy and I have to be with him since I'm his photographer. I have to be with him everywhere he goes which I don't mind because I know the second this man leaves me. I know I will be sad.

This morning I woke up with Niall sleeping beside me. I smiled at him because he looks cute this morning. He looks cuddly even though he is shirtless which I don't mind and his hair is all over the place this morning. I kissed his cheek he didn't open his eyes but he has a slight smile on his face.

"I know you're awake" I told him

"No I'm not. I'm sleeping" he said

"Oh really? Why are you talking then?" I asked him

He didn't respond instead he nuzzled his face to my neck to make me giggle.

"Niall" I giggled and tried to push his head away but he won't budge

"You know that's my favourite sound to hear in the morning" Niall said as he pulled away to look at me

"That's not my favourite sound to hear in the morning"  I told him and he has a smirk on his face

Uh oh. That's not a good sign.

"Do you want me to make it your new favourite sound?" he asked has he raised his tickle hands and I stopped him by holding his hand

"No don't do anything" I told him and he chuckled

"What? I was not going to do anything. I was just going to kiss you like this" he said and kissed my lips

"Yeah sure" I told him in between kisses and he chuckled

While we were kissing I heard someone knocking on the door. Niall groaned and pulled away from the kiss.

"Why do we get interrupted?" he asked

"I don't know. Just go open the door it might be important" I told him

"Yeah you're right" he said as he got out of bed

He walked out of the bedroom and went to open the door. Since the door was close to the bedroom I could hear who Niall was talking to.

"Hey Paul" Niall said

"Good morning Niall. Sorry to wake you but I just wanted to let you know that they are fans and paparazzi outside of this hotel" Paul said

"Shit. How did they found us?" Niall asked

"Someone posted that you're leaving at this hotel on twitter and that's when everyone got here and crowded the whole thing" Paul said

"Crap. Emily is going to freak out. You know she hate tight crowds. Is there a back door?"

"I thought there is a back door too but I just talked some people in the lobby and it turns out there's no back way. We have to go through the front. Don't worry I'll be there with you two with tons of security"

"Okay. I should Emily this before we leave or else she will freak out. Thanks Paul"

"You're welcome. By the way, I want you guys be at the lobby in 30 minutes. You have a interview this morning"

"Okay we will be there. Thanks Paul"

"You're welcome" Paul said and I guess he left because I heard Niall closing the door

I didn't know the fans will find this hotel since it's an intimate location. I like the fans trust me but whenever they see Niall they will go crazy even if it's the other side of the country. They will still get crazy and I will get pushed whenever I'm with him. Sometimes we both go out on our separate ways because of the fans. If that doesn't happen then we will have to stay together which I don't mind. Niall came to the bedroom and he gave me a smile.

"You heard that didn't you?" Niall asked as he sat on the bed

"Yeah I did. How did the fans found this hotel? Isn't this a small hotel? How can they find it?" I asked him as I asked him so many questions

"Hey. Hey. Calm down. Come here" Niall said as he pulled me into a hug and rubbed my back

"I feel scared Ni" I told him

"I know you do but you have me, Paul, and we will have bunch of securities around us. You don't need to be scared. You will be safe" Niall said

"I know you know I love the fans but I hate getting out of the hotel knowing they are out there" I told him

"I know you do but you will be with me and no one can't get you alright" he said

"Alright" I told him as I looked at him and he smiled at him

"I love you. You know that right" he said

"I love you too" I told him and he smiled and kissed my lips "We should probably get ready" I told him as I pulled away from the kiss and he pouted

"Now, look who is ruining the moment" he said and I giggled

"I'm just saying Paul needs us in the lobby in 30 minutes so we should hurry" I told him and Niall stole a kiss from me and I playfully glared at him

"What? I had to. Go take a shower and then I'll take one after" he said

"Okay" I told him as I got up from my spot

I walked over to my suitcase and grabbed my clothes that I'm going to wear today and went to the washroom.

Niall POV

"Ready?" I asked Emily

We are in the lobby and we are about to head out to an interview. I can't believe there's so many fans and paparazzi out here. It's like back in the 1D days where we get followed and the fans are still following me everywhere go even though it's just me and not with the guys. That's just crazy to me.

I looked over at Emily who looks terrified at the moment because of this whole situation happening. I just wrapped my arms around her and she wrapped her arms around my waist. I gave her kisses on her head to make her smile.

"I know it's overwhelming for you and you hate this part but I'll be with every step of the way" I told her and she smiled at me "Now there's the smile I'm looking for but is it a concern smile or your general smile?"

"It's my general smile and thank you" she said

"You're welcome. You ready to head out?" I asked her and she took a deep breath

"Yeah but can I hold you like this when we go out?" she asked as she smiled at me

"Yes you can. I don't want you to let go" I told him

"But what if I want to let you go?" she asked and tried to pull away from me but I just held so she wouldn't let her go and she giggled

"Oh no you're staying with me as we are heading out" I told her

"You know I already love to stay with you" she said and kissed her forehead

"I know" I said and Paul walked over to us

"You guys ready to go?" Paul asked us with a smile on his face

"Yeah we are. Let's go" I told him and I could tell Emily was not okay but I hugged Emily tighter "It's okay. I'm here with you" I told her and she nodded

We walked out of the lobby and when we walked outside. Immediately we were pushed and shoved by million of people. I held Emily so tight so she doesn't let go of me. There were shouts and screams heading towards our directions but I did my best to wave hello to everyone as we were heading to the van.

"You okay?" I asked Emily as we got inside the van

"Yeah. Are you?" she asked as she sat beside me

"Yeah I am"

"I still don't know how you handle this every day" she said and I chuckled

"I don't know either but I got used to it I guess" I told her and she looked at me

"Yeah, you are used to all of the girls following you around" Emily said as she playfully rolled her eyes at me

She giggled as I kissed her cheek.

"Niall" she giggled

"The only girl I want to follow me everywhere I go is you" I told her and she looked at me

"Oh yeah?" she asked me

"Yeah" I told her and kissed her lips

She smiled and kissed me back.
