Chapter 36

January 2024

Emily POV

It's been a few days since we have arrived in London. Ireland was fun, Niall and I spent Christmas and New Years together over there. Two days after New Year's we arrived in London. Today morning I woke up with a stomach ache. I never get sick but today I am. Yesterday for dinner I hate chicken tacos because Niall and I were craving for tacos so I decided to make it.

I feel like I'm going to throw up. I quickly got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I kneeled in front of the toilet and threw up. I hate throwing up while I was throwing up I could feel a few tears streaming down my face. I felt Nialls hands are on my back and rubbing it while I'm throwing up. After I was done I looked at Niall he gave me a sad smile. He got up and grabbed a rag that we have in the bathroom. He sat back down with his back against the wall and his legs stretched out.

"Come here" he said

I went over to him and he wiped my mouth with the rag. I smiled at him after he was done.

"You don't feel good?" he asked and I shook my head no "Does your stomach hurt?" he asked

"Yeah, but I don't know. My stomach hurts and I feel sweaty" I told him

"That's because you're wearing a sweatshirt babe. You need to change shirts. I don't mind not being without a shirt for a whole day since it's hot" he said with a smirk on his face and I slapped the back of his head

"I'm not doing that. I'm just going to change shirts" I told him

"I know you are. I was joking with you. I'll give you one of my shirts if you want if that makes you comfortable" he said and I nodded

"Yes" I told him

"Alright. Why don't you take a shower and I'll make breakfast. What do you want to eat for breakfast?" he asked

"I can't think of breakfast right now. I might throw up" I told him and he chuckled

"You might be hungry after you take a shower" he said

"Yeah you are. Can I have butter on toast?" I asked him

"Yes you can. Now let's get you to the shower" he said as we both got up

I got out of the bathroom with Niall and he handed me one of his shirts and it smells like him because he wore this t-shirt. I grabbed a pair of sweatpants and I was about to go to the bathroom but Niall called me.

"Yeah" I told him as I turned to him and he walked over to me

He was about to give me a kiss but I stopped him to make him pout. I don't want him to get sick as well.

"Why?" he asked with a whine and I giggled

"Because I don't want you to get sick" I told him and he smiled

"I don't care. I haven't kissed those lips this morning" he said

He cupped my cheeks and I smiled as he kissed my lips.

"Niall" I giggled as he kept pressing kisses on my lips

"Okay all done. You can go now" he said as he pulled with a smile on his face

I just shook my head and walked to the bathroom until I felt Niall slapped my bum to make me squeal and I playfully glared at him and he put his hands up in defence.

"Niall" I said

"I didn't do anything" he said and I giggled

"Of course you didn't" I told him

He winked at me and I went to the bathroom to take a shower.

After I took a shower I went downstairs feeling a little hungry. Niall is right I will get hungry after I took a shower. Niall is in the kitchen making me breakfast I went behind him and wrapped my arms around his waist. Since he was shirtless I kissed his bare shoulder. He looked at me and smiled.

"Hi baby" he said

I don't know why but whenever he calls me baby or baby girl I will always get shy when he says that.

"Hi. You know you don't have to do this" I told him as he stood beside him

"I know but I won't to. You're sick I guess I just want to treat you good while you're sick and might be laying in bed for the rest of the day after your done eating breakfast" he said

"Yeah I might be" I told him

"Let's go to the living room. You can pick a movie if you want" he said as he walked to the living room and I followed him

I sat down on the couch and Niall handed me breakfast and the remote.

"Can we watch a Disney movie?" I asked him and he looked at me

"Do we have to?" he asked with a whine and I giggled

"Please" I told him as I give my puppy dog eyes that I know he can't resist

Niall doesn't like Disney movies because he thinks there to kiddish which I agree they are kiddish movies but I love it. He watched Tangled and UP movie with me and he liked them. I want to introduce Niall to new movies while he introduces me new stuff in the music industry. We love showing each other new things.

"Fine I'll watch it with you" he said and I cheered "You look adorable when you get excited" he said as he kissed my cheek and I smiled at him

"I am because you are watching a Disney movie with me and I love you" I told him

"I love you - wait are you just saying that because I let you watch the movie or are you saying that in general that you love me" he said as he looked at me as I turned on the tv

"Both" I told him and he chuckled

"Then I love you too" he said and I smiled at him

I snuggled up to Niall while I was picking out a movie to watch.

Niall POV

Emily fell asleep while watching the movie. I smiled at her and kissed her forehead. I thought I should make a run to the store to get her favourite snacks to make her feel better. I left a note for her just in case she freaks out before I come back. I went upstairs to put some clothes and went back downstairs. I went to the living room to kiss Emily on the forehead once more and then grabbed my stuff and headed out.

Once I was done with my shopping I came back to the house and put the stuff on the kitchen counter. I went to the living room to see Emily still sleeping. I smiled at her and crouched down to her level. She looks cute when she is asleep. She is like curled up to a ball and fell asleep. I decided to wake her up so I kissed her forehead.

"Em, wake up" I told her and she opened her eyes "Good afternoon" I told her

"What time is it?" she asked as she stretched

"1 in the afternoon. Did you have a good nap?" I asked her and she nodded

"Yeah that nap actually made me feel better because you know why?" she asked

"Why?" I asked her and she sat up and I sat beside her

"Because I'm hungry again" she said and I laughed

"Is someone hungry again?" I asked

She nodded while giving me the pouty lips which I kissed by the way.

"Lucky for you I went to the store and grabbed chicken noodle soup for you" I told her

"Really?" she asked

"Yes and I bought you some of your favourite drinks and snacks" I told her and she kissed my cheek to make me smile

"You're the best. Did you know that?" she asked and I chuckled

"I heard it once or twice" I told her and she giggled

"You better hear it from me" she said

"Trust me it's from you" I told her as I kissed her forehead and her tummy grumbled. "Is someone hungry?" I asked her as I poked her stomach to make her giggle and she grabbed my hand to make me stop poking her

"Yes someone is" she said

"I'm going to get your soup. I'll be back" I told her as I got up

"Kiss?" Emily asked me as she pursued her lips towards me

I smiled and gave her 2 rapid kisses to make her giggle.

"I'll be back" I told her

I went to the kitchen and grabbed her soup from the bag. Since it's still cold I put the soup in a bowl. I warmed it up for a few seconds and brought the soup to the living room. I carefully sat down on the couch beside her and gave Emily her soup.

"It's hot be careful" I told her and she nodded

She ate the soup and she smiled at me.

"Is it good?" I asked her

"Yes. It makes me feel a lot better. Thank you" she said

"No problem. You know I wanted to make my girl feel better" I told her and she blushed a little

I chuckled and let her enjoy her soup.
