Four Changes

09:08, 23 February 2015

The  angels  looked  upon  the  bodies  of  the  fallen  and  wept  for  the  losses  of  the  ones  that  didn't  deserve  their  fate.  Both  sides  have  lost.  Both  have  suffered  greatly.  The  sting  of  death  touched  the  surviving  hearts.  The  night  ends  with  a  cry  of   agony  from  the  white  one.

You stared into Michael's green eyes, finally knowing what they meant. The beating of your heart sped up when Michael's mouth spread into a heart melting smile. "Adoration and love?" You breathed out. His fingers intertwined with yours as he brought your hand to his lips. "Yes  vvrbs  el.  Love and adoration." He lightly kissed the back of your hand and pulled you closer, his other hand placed on your lower back. "Until you came along, I never knew I was capable of loving anyone so deeply. I know others will argue that we simply haven't known each other for very long so it's not possible. But I can assure you, it's entirely possible. I feel it in my ever changing heart. I can hear it in the soft breeze blowing through the leaves. I can see it when I look to you. I don't know how you did it, but you managed to take my heart." He brushed a strand of hair from your face and his fingers lingered on your cheek. "All I ask, is that you care for it. Don't let it break. I trust you."

He sounded so sure and so serious about it. His eyes didn't break from yours and his hands held you with such gentleness. He was truly opening up to you. Just as that thought ran through your mind, Michael's wings shuddered and he let out a small gasp. "Michael? What's wrong?" He spread out his giant wings, letting you see exactly what was happening. The last of the purple had dissolved into the white that now overcame his wings. Before you could speak, he moved away from you and let his wings cover his whole body.

It was happening. I can feel it. My wings shuddered and I had to hold on to the windowsill to keep myself steady. My hands shook and I bared my teeth. A strange sensation took over my eyes and caused me to cry out as it temporarily blinded me. My wings expanded as I furiously tried to bring back my vision. I heard small cracks from my wings and my hands. Both not a pleasant feeling. Suddenly I was wrapped in the comfort of my own wings while the change overcame me. I focused my energy on my eyes and hoped I wouldn't be blind for the rest of my life. Then the pain ended. My wings folded against my back and there was no discomfort. I chuckled to myself, knowing what happened to me. I opened my eyes and my vision returned. But that's not the only thing I noticed. My eyes were now permanently red.

Oh god! What was happening to me? I couldn't see and my wings hurt! Am I dying? Please no. I still have to serve my purpose. I need to tell them. Don't let this happen now. When my wings wrapped around my body I knew this was the end. I didn't even get a chance. I started to silently send prayers when I opened my eyes, seeing once again. "Thank god. What the hell was that?" I walked over to the mirror hanging on the back of my door and held my breath. My wings were no longer light purple colored. They were now red as blood. My eyes were permanently changed to orange.

At first I thought it was just tremors from the rejection. But after loosing my vision and sense of where I was, I knew it had nothing to do with the rejection. This was something that would either be for good....or for death. I embraced it and let the pain and weird sensations course through my body as I took deep breaths. "Abramg.  Abramg."  I repeated over and over. "I prepare for you. I prepare for you." Then all of a sudden, everything stopped. No more pain and no more blindness. I knew something was different. My wings felt lighter in a way and my eyes burned a bit. As I walked towards the door, I caught sight of my reflection in the window. My wings were still very much burgundy... But now they were trimmed with gold along the edges. Another golden change was in my eyes. They gleamed the way a star would. For the first time in days, I felt at peace.

Michael's wings unfurled from around his body and he fell to his knees, eyes shut tight. "Michael?! Are you alright?" You cried and ran to his slumped figure. That's when you noticed the changes. His hair was now a sky blue color and his wings bright white. "Oh Michael. Your wings! And your hair! It's exactly like my dreams!" His eyes were still shut when he spoke. "Help me up aziazor." His voice sounded even more enticing than it already was. You took his hands and helped him stand up straight, his wings spreading out beautifully. "Michael? Why aren't you looking at me?" You asked softly, holding his warm hands. He finally opened his eyes and blinked a few times, a smile appearing back on his face. You gasped and stared in wonder. "Olazior  elasa  vvrbs  noncf."  I  love  you  beautiful  girl.  He whispered and his eyes shone green.

The  change  has  happened.  The  fight  for  Dark and  Light  is  coming  to  a  start.  Both  sides  will  comprehend  what  truth  reveals  them.  But  you  must  choose  to  follow  your  heart.  The  prophecy  is  almost  complete  the  only  thing  left  is  who  will  claim  defeat.  Roses  are  red,  violets  are  blue,  will  the  white  one  faulter?  Well,  that's  up  to  you.
