Heart of Sorrow

09:56, 24 August 2014

Skylar Moonbane had agreed to help you figure out what your dreams meant and how to stop them. He was very kind and lively in a way that intrigued you.  He also made you laugh and was a total gentleman. "So Y/N, according to your dreams, the white angel has blue hair and green eyes correct?" He asked while holding a hallway door for you. You thanked him and nodded. Michael and Luke were a few steps behind the two of you. They were whispering about something but you couldn't decipher what they were saying. "And I'm the only one that fits that criteria? I don't even have blue hair." Skylar reasoned. You heard a scoff from Michael. "You're not the only one." Michael muttered. You rolled your eyes and smiled at Skylar. "He's just grumpy. Don't pay attention to him." You said glaring at Michael. His eyes flashed purple and he looked away. Luke cleared his throat and elbowed Michael. "I uh think Michael and I are going to the library to find a book on....plants." You raised an eyebrow and crossed your arms. "You're going to find a book on plants? For what?" You asked. "You can never learn too much about plants." He answered and yanked on Michael's arm, walking at a fast pace. You blinked and looked back at Skylar. He looked as confused as you felt.

"You narrowed down the list to just me? That's kind of weird don't you think?" Skylar shoved his hands in his pockets. "Yeah it's a little strange but that just means I found the right guy!" You said excitedly. Skylar turned bright red. "Didn't you say you and the white angel were together?" He questioned softly. Crap you had forgotten about that. "Uh y-yeah I did. W-Weird right? Ha." You answered awkwardly. He smiled and held his hand out for you. "Maybe we start off as friends." He suggested. You grinned and gladly took his hand. "Sounds good to me."

You met Michael and Luke for dinner a little bit later off castle grounds at a small place called  Mononusa  de  Tibibipe, which Skylar told you meant Heart of Sorrow. Morose name. Luke and Michael were already seated inside. Skylar opened the heavy, black, wooden door for you and bowed his head. You thanked him and stepped into the new and exotic restaurant and gaped in awe. There were glass orbs hanging from the ceiling, a red glow coming from each one. All of the furniture was the same dark wood as the door. The floors were red velvet and felt soft underneath your feet. Every table was adorned with black silk tablecloths that were rimmed with a red lace. They also held red candles and a little white box. Luke caught your eye and waved you over to the table. You grinned and pulled Skylar along, weaving your way through the different tables. "I see you found it easily!" Luke beamed and stood up to hug you. "It's across the street." You teased and he stuck his tongue out at you. You looked over his shoulder at Michael whose eyes were a vibrant purple. His arms were crossed and he was glaring at Skylar.

After all of you were seated, you in between Luke and Skylar, you glanced over the menus. But of course. They were in Enochian. You frowned and stared at the page. Skylar leaned over and pointed to one of the items. "Tolteregi  mononusa.  It means 'creatures' heart'" He whispered. You were pretty sure you turned green. You really didn't want to know what kind of creature that was. Skylar pointed out a few other dishes that sounded less than appetizing before the server came over. Her skin was a light pink color with a blueish hue. Her wings had a different shape than the other dark angels you've seen. They were smaller and pointed on each end. They looked delicate and beautiful, the edges looked like lace. She winked at you and looked to Luke. "What can I get you sir?" She asked, her voice sounded like twinkling wind chimes, very melodic. Luke's cheeks turned red and he said a phrase in Enochian that made her laugh. You raised your eyebrows and Michael chuckled softly. "He said he was a nervous babbling fool." Skylar hinted. You giggled and for a moment, Michael's eyes flashed green. Just as Melody asked for your order, Michael cut in and ordered for the both of you. You gave him a questioning look and he winked and handed Melody the menus. You wondered just what in the hell you'd be eating.

It turns out, Michael had ordered mac and cheese and french fries for both of you. You smiled and mouthed a thank you to him and he gave a slight nod and a smile.

After the meal, Luke ordered deserts for everyone and you lit up. You hoped it was chocolate something covered in chocolate. "So did you guys find a book on plants?" Skylar asked the others. Luke looked confused and Michael elbowed him. "Oof. Uh yeah we did. Lots of plants. Plants are interesting. They deserve an award." He replied awkwardly and Michael rubbed his face. Thankfully, Melody interrupted with a huge tray of goodies. There were eclairs, chocolate dipped strawberries, pieces of assorted cakes, and chocolate ice cream. The cake you had your eye on was yellow cake with chocolate filling and icing. Just as you were about to reach out and take it, Michael slid it from the tray and set it in front of him and winked at you. You squinted at him and he took two forks and patted the spot next to him. You tried to hide a smile but he could tell he got to you. You got out of your chair and went to the opposite side of the table and sat next to Michael. He placed the plate between the two of you and handed you a fork, took it away, then gave it to you for real. You nudged him and grinned. He did too. You took the first bite and made a delighted noise. Michael chuckled. "I hope that's a good noise!" He joked. You nodded and gestured for him to take a bite. He lowered his fork to the plate and cut a small corner and placed it in his mouth. "Orh mer gosh." He muttered, his mouth full. You giggled and dipped your finger in the icing and wiped it on his nose. He grunted and rubbed icing on your cheek. You were both giggling and putting dots of chocolate on each other's faces. Skylar cleared his throat and you accidentally flung your fork across the table hitting Luke in the forehead. Michael burst out laughing and you snorted and covered your mouth. "I-I'm sorry Luke! A-Are you Ok?" you asked between little bursts. He blinked and picked up the utensil. "Stick a fork in me because I am so done."

Michael offered to walk you back to the room and said goodbye to Luke and Skylar. "So what was with you today?" You asked breaking the silence on the walk back. He shoved his hands in his pockets and looked at the stars. "Would you believe me if I said it was Luke's fault?" You scoffed and smiled. "No not really. You're never upset with Luke." He set his jaw and nodded. "Yeah. I guess that's true." You frowned and linked your arm with his. "What's wrong Michael?" He patted your hand with his and sighed. "Another night Y/N. Another night."

You stood in front of the door and thanked Michael for bringing you back. "What kind of guy would I be if I didn't see you back safely? Don't worry about it." He said with a smile. You reached up and kissed his cheek. "Thank you Mr. Safety. I'll see you tomorrow." He was taken aback and he blinked before nodding. You giggled, rolled your eyes and disappeared into your room. Michael was left alone in the hallway, his heart racing and his eyes green.

He  stood  in  front  of  you  and  protected  you  from  harm.  His  hand  was  tangled  with  yours  and  he  held  on  tight.  He  would  not  be  separated  from you.  "It's  over  Ashton.  Let  her  live.  She  doesn't  deserve  this."  He  spoke  firmly.  Ashton  chuckled  and  it  sent  chills  up  your  spine.  "If  not  her,  then  who?"  He  asked  menacingly.  Your  angel  stood  up  straight  and  stared  into  Ashton's  fiery  red  eyes.  "Me."  He  let  go  of  your  hand  and  you  tried  desperately  to  pull  him  back  but  he  had  made  up  his  mind.  You  still  felt  his  warm  hand  in  yours.  The  rest  of  your  body  turned  to  ice.  You  closed  your  eyes  and  the  image  you  remembered,  were  two  sparrows  with  blue  tails.
