Doalim
10:07, 26 July 2014You stared at the two boys in front of you afraid to move.
"You really shouldn't be out here alone." Michael said. Calum inched forward and Michael stopped him with a hand on Calums' chest. "Not yet." Was all he said. Calum popped his neck to the side and narrowed his eyes. "Well what are we going to do with her? She can't leave because she knows now!" He snapped and you saw his eyes glow. Michael growled and pushed Calum backwards. "I said not yet! I'm thinking!" His voice frightened you and you flinched. He must've noticed because the flame in his eyes dimmed. Calums' wings shook and he glared at you. "If you're not going to do anything about her I will." He threatened. Michael faced him and whispered something to him. All you could make out was "Just tell Ashton and Luke to wait." You had no idea who Ashton and Luke were, and you didn't really want to find out. Calum grunted, took one last glance at you and disappeared into the sky. You still hadn't moved and Michael turned back to you. "I apologize for my colleague. He's a bit of a dick." He said keeping his distance. You nodded and felt your heart race. "Wh-What are you going to do to me?" You asked. He sighed and moved his fingers around in a circle and a bright blue flame danced in his palm. "It's..... complicated. Calum is right though. I have to do something with you. You've seen too much to be trusted." He said coldly. The flames in his hand turned a charcoal color and grew bigger. The fear took over your mind and you couldn't think straight. "But I-I promise I won't tell anyone. You can trust me!" You panicked. Michael chuckled darkly and blew out the fire. "The thing is," he started and walked towards you, "I don't know if I can trust you. So until I know for sure, you're coming with me." Before you could run, he grasped your wrist and and flew into the air. You couldn't even yell you were so freaked out. "How can anyone not see you?!? You're not exactly subtle!" You asked over the wind. Your hand slipped and you almost fell, but Michael wrapped an arm around your waist and held you up against him. "It's called a glamour. It makes me invisible to drearians like you." You raised an eyebrow and scoffed. "Ok two things, what the hell is a drearian? And if I am one, how can I see you?" He wrapped his wings around you two as he spun and twisted higher. "Drearian as in dreary one. A.K.A humans. Hence the dreariness. The reason you can see me is because I've glamoured both of us." He explained like you should've already known this. "Drearian. It's kind of...I dunno rude I guess?" Michael snorted and switched arms holding you so he could reach out for something. "Ok you might want to close your eyes otherwise you'll get sick." He said softly and almost caring. You closed your eyes as he opened a swirling portal with his fingers and flew into it, causing you to spin rapidly and bump around. You were glad you closed your eyes. Suddenly, the movement stopped and your feet touched the ground. "Can I open my eyes now?" You asked worried it wasn't over. His chuckle radiated through your chest and he kept his hands at your waist. "Yes you can open your eyes now." You opened them slowly and saw that you were facing a dark castle like building. "Where are we?" You asked. He let you go and began walking towards the dark, iron, double doors. "Welcome to Doalim." He opened the doors and revealed a dark red and black corridor. "Doalim?" You asked walking behind him just in case. "It means 'Of Sin' in Enochian." He clarified. "Enochian as in the angel's language?" He nodded and turned a corner to a long and narrow staircase. He began climbing the steep stairs at a fast pace. You tried to keep up but you kept tripping and catching your shirt on the jagged walls. Eventually, Michael growled, turned around and picked you up and flew you up the stairs. "Thanks." You muttered. He grunted and set you down and walked in front of you once again. He turned a few more corners before stopping in front of a silver and black steel door. He did the trick with the flame in his hand again and drew a symbol in the air. You'd have to ask him what it meant later. He pressed his hand against the cool steel and the lock clicked and the door open. You were expecting more of a torture chamber than a teenage boys' room. The bed was somewhat made with red sheets and a black duvet. There was a laptop on a desk in the corner that was covered in different books and Red Bull cans. The bookshelf had several Enochian titles and a few English titles. You recognized 'A Midsummer's Night Dream' by Shakespeare. His closet was half open and you caught a glance at the plethora of black skinny jeans. And the best part, was the balcony leading out into the night sky. You looked to Michael for permission before opening the door. He nodded and you walked out into the cool air. The stars were brighter here and the moon was a lot closer. Even though it was dark and creepy, it was also breathtaking. Michael stood beside you and put his hands on the railing. "Beautiful isn't it?" He asked. "Very. Where is this place exactly? Are we still on Earth?" You questioned. He sighed and faced you. "You're full of questions aren't you?" You shrugged and went back to looking at the stars. "Well you'll be staying in here tonight. And don't try to leave because it may not be me who catches you. The others aren't as gracious as I am. To answer your question, no. We're not on Earth. Goodnight." He sauntered back inside and opened a drawer in his dresser and threw a black T-shirt and red boxers on the bed. "You'll be more comfortable sleeping in these." He said and paused. "Where will you be sleeping?" You asked concerned. He rolled his eyes and smirked. "Is that your way of asking to sleep with me?" You blushed and Michael laughed. "I'll be across the hall in Luke's room. Don't freak out." You blinked and he opened the door. "Th-Thank you Michael." You said. He stopped and looked at you and nodded before leaving and closing the door behind him. You pulled on the oversized clothes and felt much better. His bed was the most comfortable heaven. You were going to have a hard time getting up in the morning. You reached over and turned off the dragon shaped lamp and fell into a deep sleep. That night you dreamed of a boy with hair the same color of the blue flames Michael contained in his hand and a scared expression. And he had white wings.
