Can's POV

??: "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?"

'Oh my god.......Tin'

I was shocked at that moment because I knew how bad this situation looked and Tin came just at the wrong time

I pushed Mark away and looked at Tin

Can: "Tin, it's not what it looks like, trust me!" He was pissed off and looked ready to fight

Tin: "Oh really?? Then what is it? Because it looked like you were kissing him and didn't even refuse until I yelled."

Can: "I didn't even know he was gonna kiss me, I swear! I just froze until I heard you"

Can: "I just didn't want you to misunderstand what happened"

Tin: "Why would you even let him do that to you??"

Mark: "Because he knows being with me is better than being with you"

Tin: "shut the hell up, nobody is talking to you"

Tin gave mark a death glare but mark just smirked making it clear he didn't care

In that moment I was worried that tin would be more mad at me than Mark

Tin: "and you, I told you not to hang around him" His tone was serious and he looked at me with cold harsh eyes

I looked down not knowing what to do 'should I just leave or? no, what if they get into a fight?'

Mark: "you guys can't even communicate properly so why stay together"

Mark got closer and whispered in my ear

Mark: "Aren't you better off with me?"

Tin grabbed my wrist and pulled me to his side

Tin: "The hell is your problem? I'm not gonna keep arguing with you, stay away from can"

Mark: "and if I don't?"

Tin: "then you'll be sorry, you know how powerful my family is"

Mark: "Ha, really, they don't even consider real family"

Tin lunged at Mark but missed, meanwhile everyone was starting to watch and take videos

Mark: "you can't even aim right" Tin was furious and stabbed mark with his glare

'I have to do something'

Can: "Stop!! Tin just stop, please, you did the exact same thing last time"

Tin turned away and started walking away while holding my wrist

We got onto a quiet alley and stopped

Can: "T-tin, it hurts" he looked back at me

Tin: "Does it matter?"

Can: "what?"

Tin: "does that matter right now? It doesn't, I told you to stay away from mark but you clearly didn't listen and decided to do what you wanted"

Can: "He said it was the last time and to hear him out for just a couple minutes...."

Tin: "yeah, and you were stupid enough to believe him?"

Can: "I don't get why you're getting so mad at me, it wasn't like I knew this was gonna happen"

Tin: "but what pisses me off is that you didn't listen to the one thing I told you to do"

Can: "I didn't even know this was gonna happen! I after I met him it was gonna be the last time"

Tin: "yet you didn't listen to me and look how everything turned out"

Tin: "all because you didn't listen to one thing, just one thing, that I told you not to do"

Can: "now you're blaming it on me??"

Tin: "No, I'm not"

Can: "well it sounds like you are"

Tin: "I told you I'm not! Now stop" he turned around

Tin: "let's go" I didn't even know what else to say so I followed him

We got in the car and Tin didn't say a word

Can: "just take me home"

Tin: ".........."

After 20 minutes of being quiet we arrived at my house

I got out without saying anything, almost tearing up

'Stop can, don't cry, at least not while you're in front of him'

I walked up to my house gate and went in, I started walking inside but I wanted to see tin one more time

I was expecting him to wait there like he always does but this time he wasn't there

I went inside and ran into my room and closed my door

I started crying from being overwhelmed

Can: "why?........why does it hurt so bad?......"

Ding! I looked down at my phone and saw a message from techno

Techno: there's no classes tommorow so a senior invited me to go drink with him and his friends wanna come?

Can: actually, can we talk?

Techno: about?

Can: I'm just not okay

Techno: why?? Did something happen?

Can: let's just meet at the park near my house, the one we always used to go to as kids

Techno: okay

I got up from my bed and headed to the park

I waited for a couple minutes and saw techno at a distance, he walked up to me

Techno: "what did you want to talk about?" I sighed

Can: "it's about tin"

Techno: "what did he do to you now? Is he the reason why your eyes are puffy?"Can: "well......" he stood up as I spoke up

Techno: "I'm gonna go beat his ass" I grabbed his hand

Can: "let me just explain" he sat back down

Can: "we've been dating and-" he was shocked

Techno: "dating? You and Tin, Tin from the IC building???"

Can: "yeah and today we had a fight because of a guy, mark, who is also an IC student like tin"

Techno: "so what's up with this IC kid??"

Can: "me and tin went on a date afterschool and Mark wanted to meet me and then he confessed to me and kissed me but Tin saw it"

Techno: "is that why you cried?"

Can: "no, it's just that I've never seen tin this mad, especially at me"

Techno: "I don't know much about this boyfriend drama but I just can't wrap my head around you dating tin? Like why? You know he's rude and cold towards everyone, literally everyone hates him except those who want to use him"

Can: "believe me, I also hated him, but while I was getting to know him, I realised he wasn't all bad, He was kind and soft, way different from what I thought he was like, he's cold towards everyone but I'm guessing it's because he doesn't want to get hurt by trusting people, he opened up to me and showed me sides of him I had never seen and I just fell for him"

Can: "although lately I'm not sure if I like him as a friend or as something more"

Techno: "I don't like tin because he just seems like a complicated person, since he's also so closed off to others"

Can: "I know but I think I fell for him"

Techno: "Can, you really have to think if it's going to be good for you in the long run, if you've been only dating for a couple days, what's to say this won't happen frequently?"

Can: "I know"

Techno: "so it's up to you whether you want to be with him or not"

Can: "ok"

Techno: "I'm gonna go with my senior now, I'll meet you later okay? Unless you wanna go with me"

Can: "no it's okay, I'm not really in the mood"

Techno: "I'll get going then, text me or call me if you need anything" I nodded and also started to head home

I got home and found my mom sitting in the kitchen

Can's mom: "honey, I brought you some food from the place I went to"

Can: "I'll save it for later"

Can's mom: "are you okay? You usually always eat the food I bring you"

Can: "I'm okay, I'm just not feeling hungry"

Can's mom: "ok then" I walked up to my room and plopped onto the bed

Can: "ughh, I hate thinking about this"

'But thinking back on what techno said maybe he's right......it's only been a couple days yet everything between us if going bad, it's almost unbelievable'

'If I stay will it really be okay? Or will it always be like this? Ugh I don't know what I got myself into, I just know that I don't want to be like this all the time'

Can: "agh! I'm just gonna go to sleep, I'm already frustrated enough"

I fell asleep while thinking about what techno said

2 hours later

Bzzzt! Bzzzt!

I felt my phone ringing next to me I picked up without looking at it

Can: "hello?" I answered the phone half asleep

???: "hello, is this can?"

Can: "yea, who's this??"

???: "Hello Can, my name is Marissa, I'm Tin's step mother"

Can: "oh."

Marissa: "Can you come out to talk for a second? I am in front of your house"

'What the hell?' I checked through my blinds and saw there was a black car I front out my house

Marissa: "Can you come out to talk?"

Can: "......."

Marissa: "don't worry, it's nothing serious"

Can: ".....ok I'll go out" I hung up and started walking out the house

Can's mom: "honey where are you going"

Can: "oh, I'm gonna meet a friend"

Can's mom: "alright, don't take too long, it's already getting late" I nodded

I went up to the black car

Marissa: "What a pleasure to meet my son's boyfriend"

Can: "yeah...."

Marissa: "come in" she opened the door and I went in

Marissa: "it's come to my attention that Tin has been causing some trouble lately, and there's been pictures and videos going around of these incidents"

Can: "........"

Marissa: "and in both those videos, there was a boy who appears to be you"

Can: "yeah, it was me..."

Marissa: "I honestly don't care about who Tin dates or his personal life but it's a bit of a bother because his actions are tainting our imagine, especially with Mark's family"

Marissa: "I'm also curious about him hanging around you because he's always reserved and calm yet since he started dating you he's been a bit of a mess"

Marissa: "it's better if you take a break or even separate entirely, it's not a threat or any sort, it's more a request than that"

Can: "oh, um okay"

Marissa: "I know this is sudden but I had to address it, that's all"

Marissa: "you can go now"

Can: "okay....." I didn't know how to talk because I felt intimidated

I got out the car and walked inside my house and went to my room

Can: "I don't think it's gonna work between us after all"

Can: "not just because of his mom but also because I'm not sure if we're gonna be able to live a peaceful life and stop having conflicts, maybe we're really not meant to be together"

I decided to just do it so I texted him

Can: meet me at the front of the Kiarts Cafe at 1pm tomorrow ✔️Read

I noticed he read it but didn't respond

I sighed and went to bed

Next day

I woke up and remembered what I was supposed to do today

I looked at the time 11:34pm

Can: "it's almost time" I got up and got dressed

I told Pete everything that had happened over a phone call

Pete: "that's......a lot to take in"

Can: "yeah"

Pete: "if you feel as if it's the best choice with everything that has happened then do it but remember how Tin is, if you do regret it, I'm not sure he'll forgive you"

Can: "I know, I like him, but this is too much for me, especially for my first relationship, so I think this is the best thing to do for now"

Pete: "okay......tell me what happens after"

Can: "ok"

Click!

I hung up and headed out

I checked my time and it was 1:04pm

I got there and saw tin inside

Can: "is this really right? What if he hates me after? I don't know....." I reluctantly walked in

I went up to him and sat down

He seemed somewhat relieved to see me which made me feel even worse about what I was doing

Tin: "Hey, I'm sorry about yesterday, I was just too frustrated and I took my anger out on you, I promise it won't happen again, I took some time to clear my head and I'm sorry so-"

Can: "Let's break up"

Hey guys 👋🏼 I didn't upload last week because I'm getting ready for finals, testing for me is this Wednesday and after this week I'll get a 2 week break. Since I want to finish this story faster I'll upload 2 chapters a week starting the 19th of December. Also an update about the Kengkla/Techno story, I'll upload the first chapter once I finish my TinCan story.
