Chapter Ten

Can's POV

Tin: "it means that you like me"

Can: "W-what? N-no it doesn't!"

Tin: "then why'd you kiss me back? And why is your face all red"

Can: "b-because it's a normal reaction, it doesn't mean I like you!"

'I don't know how to react to all of this, I've never dated anyone or even kissed anyone, I mean even though Tin is a jerk he's showed me sides of him I didn't even know existed and strangely it makes me want to get to know him better, but is it really love? Or do I like him as a friend, ugh!! I don't know but my brain hurts'

Tin: "okay, okay, I won't force you to do anything you don't want but eventually you'll have to fall for me although I believe you already have" I playfully hit him and he gave me a half smile

Tin: "Are you free tomorrow after school?"

I was taken aback at the sudden question

Can: "uh, I think I have practice but I'm not sure"

Tin: "okay, let me know"

Can: ".....alright"

Tin: "do you want to hang out or go home"

Can: "it's starting to get late and I don't want my mom to worry so I'll just go home"

Tin: "alright, let's go"

The drive took more time than usual because we took a longer road for some reason

We arrived at my house and I got out

I was about to close the door when Tin stopped me

Tin: "hmm? No kiss"

'Gahhh'

Can: "no and stop being so flirty" I felt my face warm once again

Tin: "why? Because you like it too much?"

Can: "n-no I don't, hmp" I closed the door and walked to the gate of my house

I looked back and saw tin waiting for me to leave

I quickly smiled at him and went in

Can's mom: "hi honey, how'd it go with mark? Did you have fun?"

Can: "yeah. Totally. It wasn't tiring at all" I was being sarcastic but I'm guessing she thought I was serious

Can's mom: "Well, I'm glad you had fun, I made some pasta and I left you some of the fridge"

Can: "thanks mom" I went in for a hug

Can's mom: "all of a sudden? You never do this"

Can: "I guess it really was a bit tiring today"

Can's mom: "go eat and then go to bed early, lay is out with her friends so she'll be late" I nodded and went to go get the food

40 mins later

I finished taking a shower and laid in my bed

My mind went to what happened today

Can: "ughhh! Why does he make me feel this way!?"

I kicked my blankets out of frustration

Can: "I really don't know, is my heart feeling this way just because he showed me affection and I like him as a friend or do I really like him?"

Can: "whatever, I'll just go to sleep"

I put the blanket over me and tried to go to sleep yet my mind played over and over the kiss with tin

Eventually I fell asleep...at 3 in the morning

Next day

Can: "ughh, my head is hurting and I feel soar"

Ae: "why? What'd you do last night?" Ae said while wiggling his eyebrows

Can: "it's not like that, I was just overthinking, more than usual"

Pete: "is about Mark? How did it go?"

Can: "Don't even get me started on that, it was a whole mess"

Pete: "why??"

Can: "because Tin and him got into a fight"

Ae: "What the hell? How"

Can: "I don't know it kinda just happened"

Pete: "Ohh, so Mark was the guy? I didn't go to the event since my family had a meeting with someone"

Pete: "I heard it from my mom, that he got into a fight, I was gonna check on him during first period"

Ae: "Wait! Why didn't you tell me"

Pete: "because can came when I was about to tell you"

Ae: "oh"

Pete: "anyways, so how do you feel about mark?"

Can: "I don't know what I'm doing anymore"

Ae: "if he's nice just keep him"

Can: "I'm not sure....I'll see you guys after school"

Ae: "remember there's no practice today!"

Can: "okay" I remembered about tin so I decided to text him

Can: turns out there's no practice today

Tin: meet me in front of my building

Can: K

Afterschool

I walked to the IC building and found tin

Tin: "good, you're ready to go?"

Can: ".....I guess"

We went into his car and drove to a korean bbq place

I'd never seen such a fancy restaurant, especially a korean bbq place

Can: "woah~" I wasn't looking directly at tin but I saw him smile tenderly at me

Tin: "What do you want to order?" The waiter came

Can: "uhh, can I get 12 cuts of pork belly, 6 pork chops, 13 cuts of pork rib meat and 9 slices of beef brisket"

Waiter: "and for you?" He spoke towards tin

Tin: "the same as him"

Can: "you're really going to eat all that?"

Tin: "no, not all of it, I knew you wanted to order more so I just ordered it for you"

'I kind of feel touched by the fact that he knows me so well but that's what friends do right?'

Waiter: "here's your meats" the waiter put them all on the table

Can: "thank you~"

Tin: "I'm gonna go to the bathroom, I'll be back"

Can: "okay, don't take too long"

1 min later

Ding!

I checked my phone to see who it was

Mark: Can please, just give me a chance to at least stay friends with you, I can explain, I just was too into my emotions that day, so please let's just meet even if it's just for a couple of minutes

Can: I don't know if it's a good idea

Can: I'm also out right now

Mark: tell me where you're at, I'll go to you

Can: I'm with a friend right now

Mark: please, just a couple of minutes, please, I promise

Can: ........

Mark: please, Can

Can: fine

Mark: where are you right now

Can: around your neighborhood, the north area

Mark: meet me at makupan plaza

I texted "I'll be back soon, in a couple minutes" to Tin so he wouldn't think I ditched him

I searched up the plaza and it was a 5 minute walk

I headed towards the plaza and waiting a couple minutes for mark, then a couple seconds after he appears in front of me panting

Mark: "Sorry, I ran all the way over here"

Can: "just tell me what you have to say"

Mark: "look, can, I didn't mean to hurt tin, it's just that it happened, I was too into my emotions, that's why I did it, I really, really like you, and I want to give us a try"

Can: "I seriously don't know what to say"

Mark: "please, just one chance, just one"

Can: "Mark...I only consider you to be my friend, I've never had feelings for you" he looked down

Can: "sorry but I can't"

Can: "if you don't have anything else to say I'm leaving then"

I turned my back towards him and started walking away

Mark: "I do have something else to say" he said it quietly so I didn't hear

I turned around and he suddenly kissed me

Can: "mhpp!!" I pushed him away

Can: "What the-"

??: "WHAT THE THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?"

'Oh my god.........Tin'
