Marcy regained consciousness. She flinched due to the loud sound coming from the alarm clock on the nightstand next to her bed. She opened her eyes to see her mother no longer on her bed. 'Welp, looks like she left me, again. I mean, it's not like she never stayed for anything important.'

Annoyed at the sound still coming from the alarm clock, she reached her arm out and threw the alarm clock at the wall, stopping the sound.

'Welp, I'm pretty sure I broke it. Not like I care anyways.'

Marcy grabbed her phone to look at today's date. It was indeed Monday. 'Oh great, another day of hell.'

Marcy sat up from her bed and immediately fell back down once she felt immense pain coming from her chest area. The pain was so bad that she actually cried out. Seems like her scar still brought her some pain. She takes pills for it, but only every once in a while. So sometimes the scar would act up and bring her pain.ย

Marcy bit her lip to forbear from crying out again.

She tightly shut her eyes, trying to distract herself from the immense pain. Shes Marcy Wu for gods sake, shes perfect, amazing, makes no mistakes.ย

She shouldn't be crying over a scar that exists because she got brutally stabbed through the back into the chest by a hot fire sword and it hurt like hell.ย

She shouldn't be crying over that little bit of pain.

She tried hard to blink the unshed tears away so she wouldn't start sobbing uncontrollably. A few minutes pass of her trying not to let the burning tears behind her eyes fall and she finally gave up. Marcy let out a sob, a hard one.

She didn't care how much her lungs burned with each and every sob she let out, she didn't care if the scar on her chest hurt even more, she didn't care about how much her mind tried to convince her that her friends wouldn't like to see her cry, she didn't care if she woke up her strict parents, she didn't care if neighbors that passed her house and heard her sobbing were concerned, she just wanted to get that terrible sad feeling out of her stomach, to get rid of the heartache she went through every day.ย

She hated life, she hated the scolding her parents put her through every single day just because she took a single breath, she hated everything she used to love ever since the incident with her friends.ย

It's like she falls into a bottomless pit every time shes without her beloveds.

Her parents are fucked up for thinking it's a phase.

They say happiness will find you, but i think sadness will too. It sneaks up on you in the darkness, it knocks on your front door, just when you think you've made it through. Just like how the three thought they lived happily ever after but the core got its revenge. Sadness opens holes in what was solid ground, the kind of holes you never know are there until you go to take another step and find that you are standing on air. The world around you passes by, in blurs of colors and sound. Nothing around you making sense, as you continue your plummet down, you can't remember how it started, and you don't know when it will end. But you know that you'd give anything to stand up on your feet again. Sadness is that feeling where the falling doesn't stop. And it saps your life of meaning. So when you finally hit rock bottom, and you look back up at the sky, what you once had seems so far away.ย  The only thing left to do is cry. People all yelled out "save yourself." Calling out things about "happiness" or "hope", like Marcy's parents. But they're too busy with their own lives to realize that their daughter isn't doing okay.

It'd be a lot quicker if they let down a rope.

Marcy's sobbing had calmed down and so had the pain from the scar, but only a little bit. She got up from her bed and pulled off her pajama shirt. Marcy stared intensely at the scar down on her chest and ran her finger up and down it. She jumped a bit at the contact but quickly calmed down. Once she was done examining the scar on her chest, she put on her usual grey hoodie and green skirt and packed her nintendo switch to put in her school backpack.

Marcy headed downstairs for breakfast. She looked into the dining room to see her breakfast sitting on the table, but her parents were nowhere to be seen. Seems like they had made breakfast and went back to sleep afterwards. Marcy walked to her parents bedroom door, once she was standing in front of the door she let out a big sigh, in hopes that she hadn't woken them up with her little crying session. Marcy slowly opened the door to see that her parents were still fast asleep, Marcy sighed in relief.

Marcy walked back into the dining room, sat at the table, and began to eat her breakfast.ย

Once she finished eating her breakfast, she grabbed her backpack and headed out the door.

...

..

.

Once she arrived at what she called "jail", she stood in front of Sasha and Anne's locker. Marcy didn't even dare to see if anyone was watching. It's not like she even cared, her friends were in a coma and it was all her fault.

There was too much going on for her to worry about a few people seeing her.

Marcy opened up her bag and pulled out two baby pink letters and slipped each of them into Anne and Sasha's lockers.

Once she was done, she headed into her classroom.

...

..

.

The teacher was teaching boring things, all the students looked like zombies and Marcy was falling asleep during the lecture.

"And that's how the second step is done. Last but not least, you stick it in real deep."

Snorts then echoed throughout the whole class and Marcy also let out a few snorts as well. Marcy, with a big grin on her face trying to hold in her laughs looked next to her to see two empty seats.

Oh.

Marcy's face quickly fell as she turned her head back to face the teacher. 'Oh, i forgot, they aren't here to laugh with me.'

...

..

.

It was dismissal, time for everyone to go back to their homes. Marcy sighed as she walked down the school hallway, staring down at her feet as she walked. She reached her locker. She opened up her locker and took her belongings out of it. She heard noises coming from behind her. She turned her head to see a bunch of blonde jocks and cheerleaders snickering and whispering to each other. Something about, "dark bags under her eyes," and "emo." The whole friend group burst out laughing and Marcy scowled at them.

"Look at her! Look at her hair! Look at the dark circles under her eyes! That bitch is so emo!" One of the jocks shouted.ย

Marcy slammed her locker hard which let out a few gasps from the cheerleaders. She rolled her eyes at all of them and began walking to the exit of the school.

Marcy looked back at them to see them eyeing her with the most offended expressions.

'Tsk, mayo packets. Seriously, how are they going to get mad that i don't care!? It's like they want a reaction out of me.'

...

..

.

Marcy was on the bus, waiting for the bus driver to reach her destination. She hadn't told her parents that she was going somewhere after school.

It's not like they haven't left her alone in the house for hours before.

Marcy stood up from her seat as she was one stop away from the hospital.

...

Once she got up to her two friend's room, she sat down in a chair in front of the bed.ย

She took hold of both Anne and Sasha's hands and began caressing them with her thumb. Marcy could feel tears building up behind her eyes and she shuddered and opened up her mouth to speak. "I'm sorry guys. I wasn't able to protect you guys, like i promised i would."

"I didn't see it coming guys, i swear. I'm not a liar. I'd never lie to you guys."

"I love you guys with all my heart." Marcy said as tear drops fell onto the hands of Anne and Sasha.

"I gotta go now, I'll be back for you guys later." Marcy said. She placed a small kiss onto both of their foreheads and then left the room.

Meanwhile.

Anne and Sasha woke up on a field beside each other. Except it was a little dark, not that much though. And they were in the universe, they could see a bunch of different planets and shooting stars around them. There was a small little house behind them, kinda like a dog house, but aesthetic. It wasn't that big, but it wasn't that small either. They just had to crouch a bit to get through.

Once they got through the small house, their eyes wander around to see a bunch of things. Anne's lost yellow shoe, a picture of Polly and Hoppop, A picture of the Boonchuy's, a picture of sprig, a picture of Marcy, a picture of Sasha, the Christmas gift sprig had gotten for Anne, the pen Anne had given to sprig, swords they fought with in amphibia, everything was there. That's when their eyes land on a small old computer in the middle of the floor.ย

"What's with the old computer in the middle of the floor? That is so not modern style." Sasha sassily said, looking at her nails.

Anne slowly approached the computer, and sat on the pillow in front of it, While Sasha walked around examining random things.

Anne looked at the computer screen. The computer screen read, "The_core_sucks_ass" would like to chat.

Anne raised one eyebrow and grabbed the mouse to click accept.ย

Hello Anne 0.o

Anne: Hi, who are you? What's going on?

I'm the god that helps people fight for their lives....:)

"Woah, okay...." Anne said, shocked.

Anne: What's with the old timey computer?

Old? Are you teens using something else these days?

Anne: Pffft, you're off by a couple decades.

Well, perhaps we should try a different form.

The computer disappeared and faded into white, once the white glow was gone, domino the cat appeared.ย

"How's this? Better?"

"So much better, C'mere you!" Anne squealed as she pulled the cat into a bone crushing hug.

The cat pushed Anne's face, signaling her to let go as it opened its mouth to speak. "Hey hey, none of that."

"Sorry sorry!" Anne apologized.

"I figured your response would be something like this."

"I mean, I am...very cute."

"So...Whats going on..? Am i dead or something?" Anne asked.

"No. Well, you will be if you don't start fighting for your life sooner or later. The two of you are in a coma, the core decided to come with a new form and get its revenge on you two. Don't worry it's gone for good. It used to last of its power to try and kill you guys."

"Well, that's gonna cause some serious accidental dread later on." Anne deadpanned.

"So, does that make you..." Anne began.

"Just a watcher, or a viewer."

"And you look like my cat because?" Anne asked.

"My true form would make your human brain explode, don't even ask to see it because the answer is no."

"Now to business."

"Anne Boonchuy, i've brought you two to this place to give you a second chance."

"Uh, this is a lot to take in right now. What happens if i don't fight? How do i even fight? What happens? Do i have a choice...?" Anne interrogated.ย

"No, you don't. You have to fight for your life or else you'll die. You lost a lot of blood and your in a coma, fight and you'll survive."

Anne yelped in surprise as she felt the ground opening from underneath her. Sasha, who was in the corner messing with things, did too. The both of them quickly dropped into a dark pit, falling nonstop. "W-Woah! What's going on right now!" Anne shouted.

"Yeah! What's happening!" Sasha also shouted.

"Fight, fight for your life."

"Your other friend is waiting on you two."

"Good luck."ย

The two finally fell onto the ground. Which they couldn't see at all due to it being completely black. The only thing they could see was their own body, and each other. It's as if their bodies were glowing so that they could see each other but couldn't see anything else.

Anne stood up from her feet and rubbed her bottom due to how hard she fell. Sasha then broke the silence. "So, how do we fight..?"

"I guess we... scream." Anne responded

I'm literally so sorry this is so bad in my opinion, i feel like this is boring. And sorry for not updating in like two days, i've been busy.

Someone also made me lose a bit of motivation and confidence in this fanfic by rating my fanfic and pointing out all the negative things. Like, leave me alone, let me write in peace people love it.
