Chapter two: We met again

—LUNCHTIME—

Sophie had managed to get through the morning no problem. But now was when things could go all wrong and she knew it. This was the time she could get ambushed by her old friends. Don't get her wrong or anything, she missed them but she just couldn't bring herself to talk to them, not now at least. But she did, when Olivia saw her, she quickly walked over to her and tapped her on the shoulder, she turned, Olivia had a huge smile on her face "I cannot believe your back!" she said as she hugged her, Sophie smiled and hugged her back, out of everyone she missed her the most "When did you get back?" she asked as she gabbed her hand and they walked towards the tables and sat down at one "Oh um, just a few days ago, I spent most of it unpacking so I didn't get the chance to call you, sorry." she said "No that is totally fine. I get it. And I've missed you." she said "Yeah I missed you too." Sophie said, just then someone sat on the other side of her, she looked over and saw Leila with a huge smile on her face "Soph!" she said happily as she hugged her "Were a trio again!" she said, Sophie smiled as she looked at her old friends again and couldn't help but finally feel home again "I've missed you guys." Sophie said "And we've missed you." Olivia said, Sophie smiled "Okay so catch me up on everything." both girls nodded and went on and told their friend everything she missed while she was away. They told her the good, like the new wide receiver Spencer James they had gotten at the beginning of the year, how they won state championship, Olivia making it one year sober, Olivia and Asher dating, Leila learning she loved producing music like her dad, Leila and Spencer dating, but also told her bad, like Olivia nearly overdosing, Leila's depression, Asher giving another team their playbook and Spencer getting shot.

Jordan's P.O.V:

I was talking to the guys while we made our way to the courtyard for lunch "Aye yo do any of y'all know a girl named Sophie?" Spencer asked "Sophie Morgan?" Asher asked "I think so." Spencer said "Yeah, why?" I asked "She's here?" Asher asked "What?" I asked, as I looked over and saw my sister, Leila  and a girl that I hadn't seen in over a year sitting together talking "She's back." JJ said as him and Asher made their way to them, Spencer was following but stopped and turned around "Yo man you aight?" he asked "Yeah, I just, I can't believe she's back." I said "Well come on then man." Spencer said as he put his arm over my shoulder and pulled me towards the small group.
