Chapter 30

...(Y/N)'s POV...

I wake up to the sound of beeping, I slowly open my eyes. I'm greeted by the sight of Travis's white hair, I slowly move my hand onto his, which was resting on the edge of the bed. Travis's head perks up and a wide smile appears on his face, he stands up and lightly hugs me. I look over to see Gene sitting in a chair off to the side, Travis pulls away. I smile at him, I turn my head back to Gene. He continues to stare out the window, I frown a little. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry for not being there for you..." Travis's says with a hurt look on his face, I look to him and just nod. I hear Gene turn in his chair, he has an angry look on his face. I smile to him and he stands up and pulls Travis outside the room, I tilt my head in confusion.

...Travis's POV...

I stand there looking at (Y/N) and then I'm pulled into the hall by Gene, his angry face doesn't fade. "Did you know!?" Gene asks angrily. "Yes, I did." I answered calmly."And you didn't help her!!" He whispered~yelled at me."I did, she was living at my house ever since I found out." I once again say calmly. "Fine, I believe you... for now." Gene growls."Better than nothing... I guess." I shrug."Just don't try to have sex or anything remotely sexual." Gene sighs."And why would I do that?" I say walking back into the room.

(Y/N) smiles at me weakly, I wanted to kiss her so bad... but I will wait till she's better. The doctor walks in and smiles. "Hello, I'm Dr. Vincent, I will be checking on you from time to time. I think you will be pleased to hear that your father is going to jail for what he did." He cheers.

...(Y/N)'s POV...

"...I think you will be pleased to hear that your father is going to jail for what he did." He cheers, a smile forms on my face. I wanted to hug Travis and cry tears of joy, I was excited he was finally going to jail.

"But we do have an issue, you have no living relatives nor god parents... so we will have to find someone to take you in." She tilts her head a little, and frowns. "But I think this young man won't mind you staying with him until your treatments are finished." She points to Gene, I don't think Travis really care... I wouldn't mind leaving Travis's house, its I mess anyway. "I don't care, we got a extra room anyway." I smile."I'm in." I say softly. "I'm done sharing a room with Travis, he's such a slob." I tease, Gene glares at Travis. "Okay, I will get you signed out and give you some pills then you can leave with Mr. (Gene's last name)." He leaves the room.

Gene looks at me weird, "You guys were sleeping in the same bed?" Gene says raising his eyebrow. "Yes, Gene we were." I answered quietly.
