Sad Eye's POV

"You're a piece of shit!" Karina says as she walks towards Spooky and slaps him across the face. My eyes go wide and I quickly pull my girl back.

"Babe!" I say. "You said if you came with, you wouldn't do shit."

"Are you kidding me? This asshole just cheated on my best friend and you expect me to stay calm?" I say. "Where is she?"

Spooky stays sitting down in the kitchen table, looking down at his hands.

"Elena!" Karina yells.

"She left." He says quietly. We both stare at him.

"What? What do you mean she left? Where did she go?" She asks hysterically. "Oscar!"

"I don't know!" He yells. "She just packed her shit and left!"

"I'm calling her." Karina says as she takes out her phone. She stands by the door with the phone pressed to her ear. No answer.

"Kari, it's late. I'm sure she's fine, we can try calling her tomorrow, let's just go home and rest." I say.

She turns around, putting her phone away.

"Who else knew about this shit?" She asks.

Oh no.

"Javier, Omar.." he says and stays quiet for a bit. "Dalia and Jenny."

"Are you fucking kidding me? That's why these bitches have ghosted us since then, hu?" Karina says as she then laughs.

This ain't no "this shit is funny" laugh. This was a "Ima kill these bitches" laugh.

"Ima kill these hoes." Karina says as she storms off Spooky's house.

Yup.. I was right.

"Sorry mano." I say before going after Karina. "Karina! Hold up!"

"I can't believe these bitches!" She yells. I raise my finger up to my lips to shush her. It's late at night and I can't have her yelling in the middle of the street.

"Listen, I know!" I say trying to get her attention. "I understand how mad you are, trust me I'm fucking mad at him too but right now is not the time to go barging in at people's houses."

"But Tito-"

"Baby, please. Let's not be those type of people. Let's go back to my place, sleep it off and then in the morning we can try calling Lena or her dad to see where she's at. Okay?"

She stays quiet for a bit, staring at me. She pouts and throws herself at me, hugging me tightly.

"Don't do that shit to me." She says. "I would literally kill you."

"Trust me. I would never do that to you." I say kissing the top of her head. "Come on, let's go get some sleep with your crazy ass."

Elena's POV

Shit. I had a missed call from Kari. I'll give her a call later tonight.

"So who's this person we're going out to get breakfast with?" Gabby asks as she comes out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped in her head.

I shrugged.

"Some guy I met last night." I say.

"Some guy?" Gabby gives me a look. "We're going out with some random guy you just met last night? This is not a disney movie Lena!"

Gabby laughs as she walks to her bag and takes out her little makeup bag. I throw a pillow at her.

"Shut up, he bought our food last night. I wanted to repay him." I say.

"With breakfast?" She asks smiling.

"Yes, pendeja, with breakfast." I say laughing.

I end up scrunching Mia's hair a bit adding two orange bows, one on each side. I dress her up in a cute yellow jumper.

"You look cute mamas." I say as I get up and put my shoes on.

I decided to just wear a tan cropped sweatshirt and some ripped jeans and my hair straightened.

"What time are we meeting him there?" Gabby asks.

"We gotta leave in like 10 minutes." I say checking my phone.

I sent Daniel a text as soon as we park in front of Denny's.

"Right on time, I just got here. Meet you by the entrance? :) "

"Of course!"

"Come on, let's go." I say. We get out of the car, Gabby takes Mia's baby bag as I take her out of her car seat.

I start to get a little nervous. I don't know why to be honest.

We start walking towards the entrance and I see him standing there, hands inside his jeans pocket.

"Is that him?" Gabby asks.

"Yeah, that's him." I smile as I look at her.

"Hu, now I know why you wanted to repay him with breakfast. He's hot." She says.

"What! No!" I say shaking my head. "Hey, good morning, it's nice to see you again."

I greet him, he embraces me in a hug and gives me a kiss on the cheek.

"Good morning, nice to see you as well." He smiles. "Are these your little sisters?" He asks.

Oops.

"No." I smile. "This is Gabby, shes my little cousin but she's staying with me and this is my one and only daughter, her name is Mia."

"Oh! Well it's nice to meet you Gabby and of course your little one who is absolutely adorable." He says smiling at her.

"Thank you." I say. "Should we go in?"

"Yeah, of course."

"Wait so you're a graphic designer and a photographer?!" Gabby says as her mouth drops. I would have had the same expression if we weren't in a restaurant. We both laugh as he nods.

"Well yes, I have my own office in LA. Maybe one of these days I can take you and show you guys around if you'd like." He says.

"That would be awesome!" I says excitedly.

"I'll be right back, I need to go to the restroom." Gabby says .

Daniel takes a sip of his water and looks at me.

"What?" I ask laughing.

"Nothing, I just feel like I been rambling a lot about myself. Tell me about yourself, about the girls." He says.

"Well there's not much to know about me." I says laughing.

"That's a lie, come on tell me."

"Well, i've lived in Freeridge my whole life till I got pregnant and moved to LA. I recently moved back so my daughter can somewhat bond with her father but the scumbag ruined shit."

"Is it alright if I ask what happened?" He asks.

"He cheated on me. Got the girl pregnant and tried to cover it up." I said. "So I left. I packed our things and left."

"Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. What about Gabby?" He asks.

"Gabby, her dad left them a couple months ago. Her mom is an addict who brings random dumb fucks.." I say and quickly give him an apologetic smile.

"No it's okay."

"I feel like our life is full of drama while yours is just full of adventures." I smile softly.

"No don't say that. Trust me, my life was full of drama, it was until I hit rock bottom that I decided to leave that part of my life and decided to make something of my own." He says.

"I wish I could do that." I say. "I left a good office job back in LA to come back over here, thinking things will change."

"It could change." He says.

"How?" I ask.

"Move back to LA." He says. "I have a small house, 2 bedrooms. You can stay there with Mia and Gabby."

"No, I can't do that." I say. "Where would you even stay?"

"Did I mention I own two houses?" He smiles. "Come on, it will be fun. I can even give you a job in my photography department, you'll love it. You can also bring the girls with you during sessions."

I spot Gabby walking towards us as I glance back at Daniel who is waiting for an answer.

"Let me talk to Gabby about it first."
