Part 27

16:45, 7 July 2019

I opened my eyes to see Bucky sleeping beside me, the sun has not yet around so it's still dark. His face is too peaceful I couldn't even want him to wake up, not just yet. My body urges me to touch his face or kiss him, but the more I tell to my self not to, my hand went on its way to his stubble. Feeling its rough surface and into his pink pouty lips, he groaned and I quickly snatched back my fingers. I couldn't help myself from giggling. Flattering his eyes open, he looked at me and smiled.

"It's too early, doll" then he closed his eyes and yawned.

"I know. I'm sorry if wake you. Go back to sleep" I brushed my fingers through his hair. He then put his metal arm around my body pulling me closer to his. His head went snuggled in the crook of my neck, inhaling and finding his peaceful slumber again. And I begun drifting back to sleep too, thinking about him.

"We never visited your basement again. Well, we could visit it later" I told him. He shook his head and get back from what he was working with. "But why?"

"It was already demolished"

"What? Oh my....... So, you won't have trainings anymore? Bucky, I'm....."

"It's fine. I don't need that anyway. Besides, I no need more training at all" he chuckled but there's something wrong about it. Every time that we come up with his trainings and any possible combats, he always shrugs them off like it's no big deal at all. But to my observations, he is not yet safe. I mean, I'm not sure if Hydra is still after him. Or even Steve. I know he's been in peace for a long while, but until when?

Shrugging my thoughts, I pulled my jacket on and took my wallet with me. I need to go to the grocery.

"Bucky?"

"Yes?"

"Can I leave you for a while? We are already running out of stock so, maybe I should buy some loads. I'll be safe, don't worry" well, he nearly said no when he frowned but nodded after self-debating.

"Be home when something's going bad" he reminded.

"Yes, Sergeant" I closed the door and went down and called for a taxi.

When we arrived at the grocery, I payed the taxi and drove off. My eyes held those fruit vendors sitting at the pavement and I couldn't help myself from laughing. Plums. Bucky love plums.

"Hayley McAdams?"

A deep voice came from behind and I quickly turned myself to see who he was. It took me a while to recognize the face.

"Steve Rogers?"
