Chapter 17:

The day of the One Direction concert finally arrived. Ellie was practically going crazy. She was jumping around, screaming to let out her excitement at the thought of seeing her favorite boyband.

"Jesus, calm down!" I said, knowing that she won't. We were getting ready for the concert, choosing our clothes and make up. I don't actually use alot of make up but well, every girl does.

Even though the concert starts at 8pm, we were determined to reach the venue at 5, you know, just to queue up. Avril and Chad were going to meet us there.

The doors only open at 7pm so we had to wait for 2 more hours. Ellie bought us sandwiches from Subway.

My phone started ringing and I picked it up. I heard the familiar voice and instantly recognized it. "Hey! Come to the backstage now! We're with One Direction and they said that you guys can meet them!"

"Wait, okay! We'll come now!"

After I told Ellie the news, and after the fangirling, we managed to find our way backstage.

"Hey! You're here! Come and meet the boys!" Avril said.

We walked in, both nervous and excited. "Urm...hi...!" We greeted. "Hello! You must be Ellie and Ariana! Nice to meet you." Louis said with a smile.

We talked to them and took pictures too. They were so nice. I could tell Ellie was trying to contain her excitement. I was afraid she would start crying all of a sudden. Soon, one of the crew members informed us that the show was starting soon so Ellie and I said our goodbyes reluctantly. We made our ways to our seats.

"That was so cool! And they were so cute!" Ellie fangirled. I just laughed.

Soon, the band started playing and the boys came out. We screamed so loud during the show. Harry even winked at Ellie!

After the concert, we got to go backstage to continue hanging out with them. Ellie seemed to be having a great time, especially with Louis.

What if Evan saw this?

I thought about how protecting he would become. It made me giggle.

"What are you laughing about?" I heard Niall's voice.

"Nothing..."

We exchanged numbers and promised to meet up sometime. We then bade them goodbye.

Avril and Chad were waiting at the exit and Avril was laughing really hard at something Chad said.

"Hey guys, we're here!" Ellie called out.

"Okay, let's go!" Chad said after getting Avril is calm down.

They asked us about the concert and of course it was awesome. The rest of the drive was silent. They probably knew we were tired.

The next day, we woke up and felt extremely cold. We scrambled to the window, dragging our blankets along.

"Holy! It's snowing!" Ariana announced.

Ellie punched her fists in the air and whooped. I quickly reminded them to turn on the radio to check for any news about school closing.

True enough, school was closed due to the snow. Winter had came early this year and so winter holidays were extended.

We screamed and danced around the living room.

"Why don't we invite Avril, Chad and Evan over for a fun snow day?" Ellie suggested.

I nodded my head.

This should be fun!
