Chapter 16: 𝑀𝑜𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑜𝑛

Its been four weeks since Eren had fell into a coma. Mikasa has been visiting Eren everyday since the incident begging for him to wake up.

Daniel has been trying to cheer Mikasa up and though she appreciates it, it just doesn't work as much as she wanted it to.

It was Saturday afternoon and Mikasa was on her way to the hospital, she had gotten her drivers license so she was able to drive herself anywhere she wanted. Her friends had been telling her to just let Eren go and let him rest but she refused, all she wanted was to be by his side.

She made it to Paradis Hospital and hopped out of her car and made her way into the hospital, she went to registrar and told the nurse what she was here for and then Mikasa went to the elevator.

She got to the fourth floor and opened Eren's door praying he was awake, she opened the door fully only to see Eren still attached to the wires, still in his coma.

She sighed and sat down on the chair, she stared at him with a non-cholant face, nothing was new to her, she was back to her cold self, although she still was nice to her friends and current boyfriend;Daniel, she just couldn't find happiness.

She grabbed Eren's hand and held it tight silently crying. Her sobbing was interrupted by the door opening. Her head shot up and turned to the door, a nurse came in.The nurse had a sad smile om her face.

"𝐈 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡."-The nurse said

Mikasa shook her head and the nurse sighed.

"𝐌𝐲 𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧, 𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫 4 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬, 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐈 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐲 𝐦𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞, 𝐬𝐨 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐠𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭, 𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩, 𝐨𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐨, 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞."-The lady said

"𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧'𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭?"-The nurse said

Mikasa sighed and nodded

"𝐒𝐨 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲, 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩 𝐬𝐨𝐨𝐧, 𝐈 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞."-The nurse siad while getting up

Mikasa felt the heat rise in her cheeks.

"𝐇𝐞'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝, 𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭.."-Mikasa tried forming a sentence.

The lady was surprised

"𝐇𝐞'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭? 𝐖𝐨𝐰, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡."-The lady winked at Mikasa before she left the room

Mikasa sighed and let go of Eren's hand.

"𝐈 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐞'𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭, 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧.."-Mikasa whispered to Eren and admired everything about Eren.

And with that Mikasa left the room.

It has been a month since Mikasa last visited Eren and everything was fine and she started going out more but she ofcourse never forgot about Eren.

Mikasa and Aloe Vera- I mean Vera 😀 have gotten close and they soon became the best of friends.

It was Wednesday morning and Mikasa wole up extra early at 5:57 am for some reason. She couldn't go back to sleep so she just decided to get ready. She got out of bed and made her bed, fixed her douvet and placed her pillows. She then unwrapped the carpet she ordered a week ago and placed it on the floor trying to find a right spot for it. When she was done that she went into her bathroom and packed her hair into a ponytail and started brushing her teeth, she used her mouthwash and when she was done she washed her face and cleaned it with a small towel. She stripped her clothes and got into the shower. After showring she dried herself picked out a jacket, a long grey short sleeved shirt and some black leggings and put them on. Once she finished she switched off her lights and left the room, it was around 6:14 am so she went downstairs and took out some yogurt from the fridge. She went to the living room and sat on the small couch and watched a different anime then Attack On Humans, this time she was watching Demon Killer, her favourite character was Jiyu (Giyu). She kept watching until it was 7:31, she got up and got her book bag and left the house and entered her car. She was about to drive off until she felt like she forgot something. She then remebered she left her phone in the house.

She sighed and went back into the house, she went up stairs and entered her room, she saw her on her desk and she picked it up, she saw a message though, it was from Armin, what it said left her mouth agape and eyes widened, she was astonished, she kept looking at the message, the message... it said.
