~Chapter Twelve~

You sat on your bed still wearing Cole's jacket. You cried until you were out of tears. The falcon stayed to keep you company but not even a robotic bird could cheer you up. Cookie even came to your room to comfort you but no animal could patch up your broken heart. Not nimbus, not even Heather.

You looked at the bracelet Cole gave you and its charms. You cried even harder. You wanted to find whoever was responsible for defeating Cole and just straight up fight him, but you can't. You were just, Chloe. You weren't an elemental master, you had no powers. Not even self defense could help you get rid of him with powers like his.

A knock came on your door and it was your dad who opened it. "Hey, chlo. You okay?" He asks you and you wipe your tears and sniff. "Y-yeah...I'm fine...what do you want?" You tell him. "Well, if you say so. Look, I have to go to work for a quick meeting, and your mother is gonna visit your Aunt Harriet. Watch cookie while we're gone okay." He says and you just nod. He gave a small smile then closed your door. You pulled the hood over your head and buried your head in your knees. You heard cookie leave your room and you heard the falcon make some noises.

"I'll always be with you...Goodbye, Sweetheart..." You heard Cole's voice audio playback. You looked at Zane's falcon and it tilted its head at you. It opened its beak to play another audio. "Falcon, watch over Chloe as we are in battle." It was Zane's voice. "Make sure, she's okay." And now Cole's voice again.

You gave a small smile to the falcon, "Thank you." You tell it. Just then you heard cookie bark downstairs. You heard him growl and then you heard something else. "Quiet you beast!!!" You got up from your bed and hid under it. 'Not again!!' You thought to yourself.

You heard your bedroom door fling open and you heard footsteps around your room. "Come out come out wherever you are Chloe!" The man said. You heard the falcon do some loud screeching. "OW! YOU STUPID BIRD!!" He said then you saw the falcon drop next to you on the floor, shutting down.

You then remembered all those self defense lessons Cole taught you as you got out from under your bed. "You want me come and get me!" You tell the man. "Nice to meet you! Your little boyfriend speaks of you a lot!" He says.

You gasp, 'Cole's alive?!' You thought to yourself. "The name's Explosar! I'm gonna need you for my final plan!" He tells you with an evil smile. You glare at him and get into a fighting stance. "I don't think so!" You say as you kick him in the stomach. He holds his stomach in pain then evilly smiles.

"Date a ninja, become a ninja...I see how it is!" He says then punches you. You groan in pain then Explosar comes in for another attack. You don't see his kick and you fall to the ground.

He bends down to you so you two are at eye level. He ties up you up then puts something over your nose and mouth and duct tapes it so it would stay. He picked you up and threw you over his back. You realized he put some kind of anesthetic over your face. You were breathing it in and out and you were getting drowsy. You vision was getting blurry and then you closed your eyes.

You open your eyes and find yourself in a dark room. You try moving but your wrists were in cuffs and as you saw that it was attached to some chains, attached to the wall. You were on your knees as the chains weren't allowing you to be a bit more comfortable.

You sighed then wondered, why would Explosar want you in his 'final plan'? Just then the lights turned on and Explosar was standing in front of you. You glared, "Haven't you done enough!?" You asked him and he just snickered.

"My dear, it's only the beginning! You see, in order for the ninja to defeat me they'd need to find their true power. Not true potential, not a dragon but true power! And everyone knows that if you want to find your true power you have to find a little activation switch inside of you! And let's face it. I love a good fight and the ninja haven't really been giving it to me. So I found out what powers them and I plan on taking that switch, torturing it in front of them making them find true power so we can have a real battle!" He explained.

"You idiot! Your unleashing something that will kill you and you want that!" You say to him. "Not so fast. My latest creation will protect me from their true power allowing me to win!" "So where exactly do I fall into this?" You ask. "Oh, you're smart aren't you? You'll figure that out yourself." He sneers at you.

You hear a beeping and he pulls out a phone and evilly grins at it. "Hate to leave but the nindroid just woke up." He said. He then made a bomb appear in his hand and he threw it on the ground creating smoke. You cough and squint your eyes when you see something, or someone on the other side of the room.

The smoke disappears and you gasp when you saw Cole was just across the room of you! He was unconscious and his hands were also chained to the wall. "COLE!!" You yell but he wasn't responding. "COLE!!" You yell again but Cole's head was still down. You begin to worry, wondered if he was even alive.

Tears started to fall from your eyes as you just stared at your unconscious boyfriend. Just then Cole woke up and gasped for air. He was coughing and you sighed in relief when you saw he was alive.

"COLE!!" You yelled out again. He looked up at you and gave a small smile. "Chloe?" He asked then coughed some more. "Cole its me!! Thank god your alive! I was worried sick!" You tell him and he chuckles. "I missed you so much." He tells you and you smile. "I-i missed you too. I-i waited for you, everyday."

"I-I'm sorry...I C-couldn't come back T-to you..." "It's not your fault. You did what you had to do. You're a Ninja Cole, you save those who can't be saved. It's what you do, it's who you are." "N-no Chloe, I-i couldn't save you! Look where you are now! I said I'd be your shield, and I-i never was." Cole says then looks down.

"Cole, you've always been my shield. No matter what, no matter where. You've always protected me. And you still do. You sent a falcon to watch over me and that's a way of protecting me! It's okay! Don't blame this on yourself." Cole looked at you again and smiled. "I'm glad I chose someone like you." "Me too. But now we're both in this big trap." "Trap?" Cole asks.

"Yeah, Explosar said he's going to get you to unlock your True Power so you could fight him with the other ninja in the final battle. Cole, when you unlock it...please be careful." You tell him. Cole nods an okay then in the middle of you and Cole smoke appeared and Explosar was in both of you two's presence.

He evilly grinned and walked over to Cole. "Have a nice sleep did you?" He asked him as he lifted Cole's chin up. You furrowed your eyebrows as you were really getting pissed by this guy. Cole yanked his head from his grasp and Explosar did an evil laugh. "The others are fired up! Now it's your turn!" He told Cole then looked over at you.

"Hmm, but first how about we raise the stakes of the game, shall we?" He tells you two. He then knees Cole's stomach numerous times and Cole winces in pain. "EXPLOSAR STOP! YOU'VE DONE ENOUGH! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" You yell out.

He evilly laughs and let's Cole drop down on the floor. "Your turn dear!" He says as he presses a button on a remote making 100 watts of electricity go through your body. You scream out in pain, "CHLOE!!" He yells. He gets furious and gets back up. "LEAVE.MY.GIRLFRIEND.ALONE!!" Cole yells as he starts glowing and he breaks from the chains and grabs the remote from Explosar. He crushes it with his hands making the electricity stop in your body and freeing you from the chains. You collapse on the floor and pass out.

Cole grabs Explosar by the collar and pins him up against the wall. "Never. Hurt. My girlfriend. Like that again. Do you hear me!" Explosar wheezes then makes a smoke bomb appear in his hand. He throws it on the ground making Cole and him disappear. They appear in this big room and Cole reunites with the other ninja.

Explosar is now in a huge mech and he evilly laughs. "WELL DON'T JUST STAND THERE GLARING AT ME NINJA! LETS TEST OUT OUR NEW ABILITIES!" He says as he throws a bomb at them but the ninja use their True Power shields protecting them from the attack.

The battle began, Mech Vs. Powers. Explosar put down his mech sword and the ninja dodged it. Lloyd threw some of his energy balls and Zane froze an arm of the mech. Kai heated it up and Jay shocked the machine with his lightning. The mech was slowly losing but Explosar wasn't giving up.

On rapid fire he shot mini explosives at the ninja and the ninja dodged every shot. Nya shot her water at Explosar making him lose his vision and Cole did one powerful ground pound making the mech fall to the ground.

Explosar got out of the mech and coughed a little before evilly smiling at the ninja. "Well done ninja, well done! Just the battle I've been wanting! But now for the real question! How to really defeat me. You have the power ninja, but there's only one way to get rid of me!" He said. "Then how about we do it all together!" Cole says and the others get in stance.

"Clever Ninja are you! Go on try me!" One by one the ninja shot their True Power beams at Explosar but he wasn't getting hit! The ninja stopped and Explosar evilly laughed. "FORCE FIELD BABY! I ACTIVATED IT WHILE YOU WERENT LOOKING!"

Just then Sensei wu flipped some switch and the force field went down. "FOOLISH OLD MAN! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!!" Explosar Yelled. "GO NINJA! GO!" Sensei signaled. "ENERGY!" "WATER!" "EARTH!" "LIGHTNING!" "FIRE!" "ICE!" "NINJA GO!!!" They all yelled as they once again fired their True Power beams at Explosar. "THIS ISNT THE LAST YOULL SEE OF ME!!" He yelled then exploded. Everyone returned back to their normal selves and cheered as they finally defeated him.

"Well done ninja! I am proud of you all! It's been a long week and you've all done well." Sensei says with a smile. He then looks at Cole, "I believe you have someone to attend to now." He says. Cole thinks for a minute before he finally remembers. "Chloe!" He says then he runs out of the room.

Meanwhile back with you. You slowly opened your eyes to see where you were. You remembered that you got captured and was used as a game piece in Explosar's plan. The light from the room hurt your eyes so you kept the, halfway open. Just then you saw a figure pick you up and carry you bridal style.

"I'm gonna get you out of here miss! I'm taking you with me to get some help. I'm Cole, what's your name?" He says to you with a wink as he gets you out. "I'm Chloe." You say with a smile remembering the first time you got kidnapped and Cole saved you. "Beautiful name, Now c'mon, let's get ya fixed up." He said with a smile then connects his lips to yours.

A/N: YAY COLES ALIVE XD Anyways I may have writers block for the next couple chapters so if I don't update for awhile then that's why. Song at the side suggested by Chloe :) it's I Won't Give Up by Jason Mraz. So let's just say Explosar is kinda like a creeper in minecraft (if any of you play it lol) he's part TNT! XD
