Chapter 69: Karaoke night part 2

"Hey Deku do you think they noticed that we've done that before?" Uraraka asked noticing they were out of earshot from the rest of their class.

"Done what before? Throwing Mineta into the sky?" he asked.

"Yeah" she said fiddling with his hair while sat on his shoulders.

"I think it was pretty obvious. It's not like anybody cares anyway he needs to learn to respect women more" he said.

"You mean the way you do?" Uraraka asked a little teasingly.

"You sound like you doubt I do" he said looking up at her raising an eyebrow.

"Oh I'm just wondering what part of slamming their heads into or hitting them through concrete is respecting women" she teased. Deku simply gulped feeling guilty.

"That was different" he said blushing slightly.

"Relax I'm messing with you I know you respect women really. I wouldn't be dating you if I thought you didn't" she admitted.

"Well that's a relief. Should we wait for everybody? I mean Mineta is only just regaining consciousness" Deku said feeling bad for walking off and leaving their classmates with an unconcious Mineta.

"No that would totally undermine how cool we looked walking away after throwing him up in the air like that. By the way that catch was amazing even I was struggling to keep a straight face" Uraraka said remembering how hard it was to surpress her cheers and screams of amazement. Deku chuckled a little.

"Yeah me too I almost dropped him because I couldn't quite believe it myself it was so difficult to keep my composure. How many more times do you think he can handle being at that sort of altitude before it causes serious damage?" he asked.

"Who knows? Who cares? We'll keep doing it until he learns to stop being such a goddamn perv" she said still disgusted with him. 

"Try not to worry about it he's a teenager and boys sex drive is at it's peak around 18 years old on average whereas the average age for girls peak sex drive is 30 years old" Deku informed her.

Why does he know that? It's such a strange fact to know.

"What!? Why are they so far apart that isn't fair!" she whined crossing her arms and pouting. Deku couldn't help but laugh when he looked up at her and saw how adorable she was throwing a little tantrum.

"Yeah I know it's strange" Deku admitted. 

"Being a girl sucks" she complained.

"No it doesn't" Deku said not seeing why it was so bad.

"Oh yeah? How would you know? You've never had a period. You've never had the awkward and embarrassing experience of bra shopping. You've never been told you couldn't do something simply because you're a girl. You've never given birth" she said scolding him.

"Well to be fair you haven't done that last one either. At least to my knowledge anyway" Deku joked.

"Don't be such an ass" she said disapproving of his comments.

"Ok ok I'm sorry. Being a girl sucks. Happy?" he asked.

"Yes" she said smiling innocently at him before returning to fiddle and play with his hair.

It's so soft. It feels really nice to just run my hands through it.

"Mmmmm that feels nice" Deku said approving of the head rubs he was getting.

"Cute" she said chuckling at the way he tilted his head slightly when she did something that felt good.

"Careful guys. Mineta might make another gross comment" Kaminari said appearing beside them.

"And if he does we'll throw him back up only this time I won't release him" Uraraka threatened looking down at the tiny teenager who was hiding behind Kaminari completely terrified of the girl and her boyfriend.

"I'll behave" Mineta said nervously.

"You better" Deku warned.

"How would he even make head rubs sexual?" Ashido asked.

"Oh it's quite simple really I-" Mineta began but was cut off by Kaminari clasping a hand over his mouth.

"You said you'd behave. So for your own sake...don't say it" Kaminari warned trying to save him from himself. Mineta simply nodded.

"So anyway what's it like up there Uraraka? How does it feel to be tall?" Sero asked sarcastically teasing her about her height.

"That's not what it's like to be tall because-" Iida began but Kirishima gave him a small nudge.

"Dude don't ruin it. We're not in school so you can lighten up a little" Kirishima said.

"He's right Iida. Besides it's great up here I can see over everyone and I don't have to walk around. Plus I get to play with Deku's hair" she mumbled that last part a little embarrassed to say it but everybody heard her.

"Awwwww you guys are so cute" Ashido said unable to contain herself.

"It is sweet" Jiro said with a slight smile on her face.

"Do you want to go on my shoulders?" Kaminari asked.

"Pfft yeah right you wouldn't last 5 seconds with me sat on your shoulders" Jiro said dismissing his suggestion but Kaminari only saw it as a challenge now.

"Oh yeah?" he asked.

"Wait Kaminari no don't-" Jiro began but never finished as he lifted her up onto his shoulders immediately regretting it. He'd greatly overestimated his own strength or Jiro's weight.

"Kaminari you idiot! I'm not exactly light!" Jiro exclaimed furious and embarrassed with him.

"Relax...I've totally got it" Kaminari lied as he shook and struggled to hold her weight on his shoulders. Deku couldn't help but chuckle.

"What's so funny?" Uraraka asked.

"What's not funny? Look at how much he's sweating" Deku said beginning to break into laughter.

"Good point. How come you're not struggling? I've been up here for a while now I would've thought you'd be getting tired by now" she said realising she wasn't exactly light either which was ironic considering her quirk made things feel weightless.

"Well all of us are heavy because we all do intense physical training to be as fast and as strong as possible. Meaning we all have a lot of muscle mass making us heavier than most people since muscle weighs more than fat. However that also means we should all be exceptionally strong if we've been training correctly. Kaminari clearly hasn't been training his shoulders or his back very well. I on the other hand feel fine I could do this all day. Although my quirk might have something to do with that or the fact that All Might is essentially my personal trainer. Either way no I'm not tired because I've trained well" Deku explained.

"You know you could've just said that last part and that would've been a perfectly fine answer" Uraraka said having listened to his rambling.

"Sorry sometimes I can't help but explain things that don't need to be explained" Deku said and as he did Kaminari collapsed onto the floor leaving Jiro sat on his back.

"Jeez. My hero" Jiro said standing up very unimpressed.

"That sucked" Kaminari said still face down on the floor.

"Can we actually go and do some karaoke now?" Ashido asked.

"Yes let's hurry we're taking far too long" Iida said checking his watch seeing it was already late afternoon.

"Yeah come on I'm sure we all want to see Midoriya and Uraraka do another duet" Ashido said with a big grin on her face.

"Sure I'm up for it. Although we're picking the song this time" Uraraka said.

"Agreed" Deku said.

"Then let's go!" Ashido exclaimed leading the group along. Everybody followed her to their destination but what they didn't know is that they were being watched. However their stalkers had their eyes set on one person in particular. Deku.

"You little brat. You've been a pain in my side since the USJ attack. But it doesn't matter. After tonight you're not going to be a problem for us anymore..."
