Chapter 18

Chiron

Chiron examined the classroom, so this was where he was going to work. He added six new desks to the classroom changed the class to make it look more like a Greek Mythology Class, placed his Name plate on his desk which printed: Mr. Brunner and his iced coffee on the table as well.

He liked that name and now he was going to use it again, he was preparing for school during the weekend but the only downside was that he had to be in a wheel chair again. He rolled his wheel Chair to the desk and waited for the bell to ring having his Sheet of papers of the names of Kids including The six. The sad thing was They were only Last names no first name. I'll ask them as they walk in.

The bell rang and soon kids came in, they definitely noticed that he was in a wheelchair he could even see the sadness in his eyes or the pity even some whispered:

"I Feel bad for him never, walking again" then they would respond with a nod or a "me too" 

What good is walking when I can galop.

"I don't need anyone to feel pity for me," he announced"treat me the same as I would with you. Respect" 

That was his first class period.

Soon classes flew by and now it was his 5th period class. The class where all the Demigods were  and other kids as well, as soon as the bell rang; A   kid came in,  blonde hair with brown eyes. "Is this the  Greek Mythology Class" he asked.       "Yes" Chiron said. "What is your name young man?"

"Zack Thompson"

"Thomson . . . got it.  You may sit down where ever you like."

Zack sat down soon the class flooded in with other kids. Then the six came in Annabeth, Leo, Jason, Piper, Hazel, and Frank. The bell rang Indicating the class has began. Mr. Brunner cleared his throat and the class went silent.

"Class meet Jason Piper Annabeth Hazel Frank and Leo, please make them feel welcome"

They all said Hi and went to their seats.

He began to call everyone's last name to see who was present or absent.

"Maxwel, Johnosn . . ." they all said " "here"Chiron looked at the next and Last,last name on the list he hesitated then called:

"Jackson?"

"Jackson?" He called again.

"Oh . . .  He is  comming he is just late" said Zack.

"Ok. Then lets begin."

Nobody POV

Chiron talked about what the class was  about and what they are going to learn about and all the rules.  When a teacher calls Chiron outside

"I will be back"

Kids start chatting when Zack speaks.

"Can I have all your attention, My friend is comming in Late"

"You mean Jackson he is already 10 minutes Late. " Leo says

"Yes. . . well he's been sick for a week and he had to beg his Mom to let him go to school today so he just arrived . . .   I was thinking to make him feel welcome, we chant his last name like Jackson Jackson Jackson and we make beats with the desk." Zack explaines. "So who wants to do it."

"I'm down" says Leo "making someone feel left out isn't in my dictionary"

"I  will" says Jason and Piper

"Me too" says Hazel and Frank.

Soon the class wanted to join as well. 

"Annabeth?" Zack asked, She was reading a book. "I'll pass"

"If you say so"

Chiron came back in.

"Alright where was I. . . "

"Mr. Brunner could you wait after he comes in he is  comming right now, he just sent me a text"

Chiron agreed "very well"  he grabbed his iced coffee began sipping it.

"Ready guys lets do it loud so he knows which classroom he is in."

"JACKSON!  JACKSON!  JACKSON!"

People were banging there hands on the desk. Leo, Jason, Piper, Hazel, and Frank were in it too and they were loud.

"JACKSON!  JACKSON!   JACKSON!"

The door opened.

"I didn't know it was my birthday" 

"JACKSON!!"

Chiron iced drink fell to the ground Leo stopped chanting. Piper gasped Jason Blinked Hazel let out a small shriek. Frank stared and Annabeth was reading,  when she looked up to see what the commotion was.   . . .He was standing in front of them.

Sandy black hair Sea green eyes mischievous grin. There was no mistaking it . . .

Percy Jackson.

"Y-your name please . . . ." Chiron stummerd too shocked to even finish a complete sentence.

"Percy . . . Percy Jackson"
