Percy

I looked at my necklace. I gripped it for a second. Emma's hand was still out and she looked annoyed from holding her hand out for the past Miniute and a half.

"C'mon. It's just a necklace. You don't even have to do anything dirty just give it to me. It's a fair price for the information you want." She said.

I knew she was right, but it wasn't just a neckless it was my neckless that I had since I was 12 years old with all the quests I had acomplsihed on the beads. Even though they all betrayed me, I still kept this because. . . because . . . I paused.

Why did I keep it in the first place. There has to be a reason right? They betrayed me and belived a stupid lie and it was all because of her. How could they trust her, how could I have trusted her. She played us all. She got them to belive I was a tratior.

I pulled the neckless from my neck and placed it on her hand.

"Take. It. It's just a stupid neckless" I mumbled.

"You sure took your time, was it that important to you" She asked.

"Not anymore." I closed the conversation.

She put it in her pouch

"So tell me where is he"

She leanes back in her seat.

" He is here and Knowhere. Close by yet unknown. Seen yet hidden. Recognizable yet changed. Normal yet different."

"Seriously a Riddle?" I exclaimed angrily.

Emma just laughed "You must be already used to it" she leaned in "Percy Jackson."

My eyes widened. I couldn't look away. Was she a monster? No. She-It- would have attacked me by now. Emma's voice changed, it wasn't one voice but 3 different voices. They were so firmilar. "You can never run from fate" All three voices say in sync like Emma was controlled.

I turned and looked around the bar and I saw three woman standing in the cornor. I never noticed them before ,One was holding thread and the other one Cut the thread.

Snip.

It seemed to echo in my brain. "You can never hide" There voices rang

"Hello!!! Yo! Percy. Wake up!"

I shot up! No one was in the bar. It was dark except for some lamps that flickered on and off. I blinked my eyes a couple of times and my vision was cleared. Ben was beside me

"Finnaly you woke up."

"What happened" my voice croaked.

"You fell asleep right after you came back from Emma's table. Everyone left though."

I gripped my head.

Was it all just a dream

I saw that Barbie was cleaning up all the counters.

"C'mon. We can sleep here for the night, Upstairs I mean. Right Barbie?"

Barbie looked up. "Yes. You can."

The room upstairs was small instead of beds there were mats. It was dark but there was a window where light came from, I lied down on the mat. Covered myself and tried to fall asleep but after what happened today. The fates. The string,my necklace, was it anothor propehcy that I am apart of?Do they even think that I am dead? I tried every thing to just be . . . normal. I can't I just can't.

I couldn't fall asleep Ben was snoring loudly, so I decided to go downstairs, everything was dark and silent. Except for the far cornor of the place a table with a dimly lit light. I slowly made my way to the table and I saw someone.

"Hey" I said quietly. He didn't answer. I pulled a chair and sat in front of him. I snapped my fingers to see if he was awake. The hoode covered his face so I couldn't see it. After a while of sitting in silence, he began to stir up. He looked at me.

"Hey"

He yelped "gah! What the heck!"

"Shhh people are sleeping" I say.

"Who are you. Why are you sitting at my table?"

I looked around the table" I don't see your name on it"

He sighed. "Ok. First question who are you."

"Oh. I'm-" I paused. I never want to use that name again. "I'm John. John" I say.

"Nice to meet you John. John. I'm David. So what's a kid like you doing in a place like this"

"Kid!? Look at you. You look no older than what, 16 years old." I said.

He laughs "you have no Idea." He takes of his hoode. Golden blond hair and black eyes. He did look 16 but . . .

"I'm actully 15. It's nice to finnaly meet someone my Age."

"I'm 17"

"Nice. . .nice"

"So what are you doing here alone" i ask.

He leaned back on his seat. "Well. I'm finding my place in this world."

This guy makes conversations so hard.

"So what are you doing here" he asks back

"Oh I'm just looking for some kids who went missing 3 years ago to earn some money-" I covered my mouth. Dang it! I'm not supposed to trust anyone why did I tell him that! I'm stupid. I looked at him. He lookedanxious was it something I said? Then his expression changed.

" You won't find them. Give up now."

"Why."

"Trust me I tried looking for them but it's like they vanshied off the face of the earth, they won't be found." He explains"Pretty much everyone tried and gave up the first year. I suggest you do the same. It will save you alot of trouble."

"Thanks for your opinion David" I say I stand up "it's nice meeting you David"

I put my hand in front of him, he shakes it. Then I leave. " I hope you have fun with your wild geese chase and goodnight." He yells

I headed back to bed (well it was a mat)

The next day was a busy day, after having breakfast we left the bar. David was gone when I woke up. Which I expected from our awkward conversation last night. We left the abandoned train station and headed out into the busy streets of New York. Buses, cars, and people talking, this was not new to me.

"Ok. Fill me in. What did you give her for her to give you the info." Ben said.

"It wasn't information it was more of a riddle of some sort"

"Yup that's Emma for sure" Ben said.

"Wait. You knew she was going to give me a riddle?"

"What you expected that she was going to give you the info straight forward" he patted me on the back.

"You got alot to learn Percy. So what did you have to give her"

"A necklace," I say.

"A necklace!! A NECKLACE. That woman usually takes what's important to anyone. Unless. . . that neckless is important to you."

"Was" .

"What."

"It was important to me, besides necklaceses are always replaceable so once we get the money I can just buy anothor no biggie" I brush it off. Ofcource that wasn't true about my Necklace being replaceable but . . . I need to let go of the past.

"Ok. So what's the riddle."

" He is here and Knowhere. Close-by yet unknown. Seen yet hidden. Recognizable yet changed. Normal yet different." I recite.

"Yeah that's definatly a tough one. Lets start looking"

***** It's not that I am lazy but. . . ok maybe it is . . .? ***

We found nothing. No matter how many times we searched nothing, We decided to take a break at a coffee shop.

"Any luck"

"Ahhh! What the heck!"

David laughed"now you know how I feel"

"Hey Per-" I hit Ben on his leg "ow."

"It's John. Sorry we have been on our feet all day and my friend forgot my name"

"Yeah. I did. Sorry John." There was a small pause, David didn't seem to buy it but he did n't push it.

"So . . who is your friend here?"

"This is David. I met him at the bar"

"Hey." Ben says.

We were talking for some while, when I noticed something. Or more like someone. Two someone's to be exact. I thought my mind was tricking me. I began to panic.

"Uhhhh I just rembered I need to use the bathroom"

I rushed into the bathroom and closed my bathroom stall. My breath was heavy. How could I forget. Of course this was New York my home, Ofcourse I would see them. I'm way to close to home. I wasn't careful. I can't belive I can't belive I saw

Annabeth and Piper.

The color drained from my face. I opened the door of the bathroom and poked my head, I saw them again The looked happy. That's nice. They must have already forgotten about me. Annabeth hair is so . . . no no no they betrayed me they think I am a traitor if they see me they will send me to Olympus and my one way trip to Tartatus. No way!

I closed the door and started paseing around. How am I going to get out. If Iam correct this is Annabeth's favorite spot when she wants to work on Olympus or something it means she is not going to leave right away damn. Someone walkes in It was one of the people who work here I had an Idea.

"Sorry sir" I hit him with my elbow and he collapsed on the ground.

"I gonna borrow your clothes and Hat"

I dragged him to the cornor of the room and left him in only his undwear and vest on. I put my hat on and my glasses and changed my clothes. Then I walked out.

I saw that Annabeth and Piper they were sitting at one of the table.

"There you are Alex." Called a man who worked here.

"Yes that's me Alex . . . "

"You took so long in the bathroom man, they are customers waiting for an order at table 15. Can't leave them waiting and what's with the glasses and face mask"

I pretend to cough.

"*couph* I don't want to spread my flu Sir and the glasses are. . . . um It's too sunny*couph*"

"We are inside-"

"I don't want to make customers wait. Gota go take there order"

I got the menu and a writting pad.

12 . . .13 . .14 . . 15.

Here it is. I froze styx. I gulped. There eyes met mine and I avoided eye contact. I magned to catch a glimpse of Ben and David.

Ben: Boi! What the heck are you doing in that ridiculous outfit. Is what his look gave me.

Me: help me. I realized that he couldn't see my eyes or my mouth. Looks like I am on my own.

"Excuse me." Annabeth spoke. I jerked and turned around. Her voice was the same, the way she looked was the same, After 2,000 years she's still beautiful as- NO focus Percy. She is an Enemy. She must have had been made immortal or something and Piper hasn't changed at all. They looked at me.

"Oh uh . . .m-may I take your owner I meen order" I changed my voice so they won't recogonize me.

"I would like to to have a Capanchino with muffins and my friend over here would like to a glass of milk"

I told her that there order would be here. I leaned on the counter.

"Dude" Ben asks "what's with the getup"

"After I serve whatever they need we need to bolt"

"Wait! John is that you since when did you change."

"NOT now. We need to go. "

The coffee and the stuff were ready. I brought the stuff to their table then I noded for the guys them to get ready.

"Thankyou"

"Your welcome Annabeth"

I cursed undermy breath. Hoping that she didn't hear. I was wrong.

"Hey! How did you know my name" she gripped my arm. Dang she's strong.

"I struggled and tried to pull away.

"Stop" Piper's voice spoke I could tell she was using charmspeak. I couldn't move, from the corner of my eye I could see that Annabeth was pulling something like a wooden stick.

Before you continue I just wanted to let you all know that Percy can't see through the mist anymore because, Zues said so, wait it wasn't Zeus it was his brother Poseidon, it's a whole package that came along with being disowned and betrayed and loosing his powers and all that 'fun stuff' Thus Percy Jackson is somewhat close to being a human. I said somewhat.

I was guessing that was her DB sword. So I did the only thing I could do. I judo flipped Annabeth as she landed on piper breaking the charm. Then I ran. I ran at full speed with Ben and David behind me. I heard Annabeth and Piper from behind. I slid into an Ally. Dead end.

"Hey!! Excuse me sir"

They asked David who took of his hoode off.

"Have you seen a guy in a workers suit a Man and anothor guy in a hoode?" Annabeth asked.

"No maam. I did not but if I see them I will let you know."

"How?" Piper asked.

"Your phone number, beautiful"

They looked grossed out and walked away from him

"C'mon lets keep looking he couldn't have gone far" there voices faded.

I sighed with relif. I crouched down.

"Thanks David"

"No problem"

"That was enough excitement for one day. Dude who were they Friends, Girlfreinds, family" Ben asked.

"Why would I have two girlfriends and no they are not family. Not anymore" I mumbled.

"Well we didn't have any luck finding one of the kids so that's a bummer"

I stood up. "I already know where the boy. "

"Really where" Ben asked.

" He is here and Knowhere. Close by yet unknown. Seen yet hidden. Recognizable yet changed. Normal yet different I finnaly understand after wearing this today." I paused.

"It's you David or should I say Mason."

"How did you know it was me?"

"Disguises can fool anyone. I know that one hundred percent. You dyed your hair got new contacts and you also said you were positive that we would never find you. Because you don't want to be found."

"You got all that from dressing up as a coffee worker who are you really what is your disguise" he asked

I hesitated.

"Mason Fowler my name is Percy Jackson and I am a Demigod"

"Wait. Wait wait! Like in the Greek books"

"Yeah. I guess."

"Hey say hi to Maui for me"

"What no way this isn't a Disney Movie. It's real life"

"Why are you telling us this. What if we don't belive you" Mason said. As he took of his disguise, his redish brown hair (golden hair turnes out to be a wig) and brown eyes were shown.

"I don't expect you to. That attack happened that 3 years ago, I don't think it was just an Accident, mostly likely it was a monster attack your sister might be a Demigod."

"Wait your saying you know where my sister is?" Mason asked

"Not really but if you join me, both of you, I will help you. I promise I will help you find your twin sister"

"How?"

"By joining the Chaos Army"

The present. 3rd Pov

"And that was how we became apart of the chaos Army with Percy we were the first of many. He even gave us a home and awesome powers" Ben told his kids

"He also made a Promise, and when we were close to finding my sister, He vanshied like he never existed, and it has been 10,000 years since then" Mason said.

"What about the money Daddy didn't you want the money" said Ben's Daughter

Ben smiled as he held his child "well money didn't mean anything anymore. Family is most important, and if I chose money then I wouldn't have met an amazing wife or would not have had you. I would have been single. "

"My Dad is a super hero" said Ben's son

"Then you became immortal right I wanna be immortal too"

"When your older" Ben's wife says

"What age? " both kids complain

"15" the parents both say

Manson speaks "I got a message saying that we are to meet Zoe and Luke. It looks like we are going to earth."

"It has been a long time since I have been to earth lets go." They both telaported to earth

"Hey" Mason asks "do you think we will ever find Percy"

"Percy will stop at nothing to find your sister. So we won't stop at anything to find him and earth is great place to start am I right"

"Yeah . . . ."

Ben smacks his hand on Mason's back "That's the spirit!" He laughed.

"Let the searching begin! and I have a feeling that we are not the only ones who are looking for Percy, after all Percy recruited every single one of us."

Yay!! Finally done! I am so happy! Happy new year. 2019 Yay! I hope you all had a great 2018. I am so happy! I hope everything made sense. Also I just want to say. Thankyou all for reading this story! I am soon happy! BTW Mason got immortality too. This was almost 3,000 words.
