Y'all ready for some moon ? ________________________

ย  I THINK THE rain got worse, if that was even possible. I've practically finished all that I needed to do, I just needed to clock out.I've been trying to wait out the rain, anyway. It says it's supposed to calm down within the next two hours or so, so I figured hanging out with Sun in the meantime would be a good idea.

Vanessa was around the bottom floor doing her rounds. We've passed a few times and exchanged hellos. She told me to keep an eye on Chica's room before I went home. Her and I both figured I'd be hanging out for a while.

Sun nudged me in the shoulder. He must have noticed my nerves being riled up or something.

"Are you okay? You look . . nervous."

How did I know he knew that.

I nod, snapping myself from the thoughts and went back to sweeping. "What? Yeah, I'm okay."

Sundrop tilted his head, then crossed his arms. He was so tall compared to me. I felt like an ant in his presence. "Alright well, just so you know, I can sense you're not okay. But sure, we can say that you are." He shrugs, looking at me with a sly smile from over his shoulder.I huff, setting down the broom and take a seat on the bench. "It's that obvious, huh?"

He chuckles. Soon I feel two hands grab my face, and squish my cheeks together as if I were some sort of pet. "It's extremely obvious, sunshine!"

My face flushes with embarrassment. "Ugh, okay yeah I'll admit I'm a bit freaked out." I let out a soft sigh, feeling his warm hands release me. "What if the lights go out and something bad happens?"

Sunrise moves his arms to around my neck and he brings me into his chest. It's actually warmโ€” I didn't expect it to be.

"You're going to be fine! That won't happen- - I promise! Look, it's only ten. The power starts going out every hour around twelve for power saving. If the rain makes anything happen, I'll be here to help turn the lights on! Freddy is here too! He can always be of help." Sun smiles brightly down at me as he pets my hair. It feels comforting, so I melt slightly into him.

"I haven't seen Moon in a long time," I mumble into him, frowning slightly at the floor. "Do you think if he takes over . . he'll still remember me?"

Sun's grasp on my body tightens, and I look up at him. Down to me, he flashes a nervous smile. "Moon doesn't come out anymore. Too many glitches. But, if for some reason he does . . Well, I really hope he remembers you. Maybe you'll be able to keep him . . sane." The celestial animatronic smiles in hopes of keeping my nerves at ease. It didn't work.

I let go of him, and frown. "What?"

Sun shakes his head. "Nothing. Don't worry too much about it."

Shrugging, I try to rid the concern from my mind, though parts of it still try and linger. "Uh, okay."

I walk over to the clock out station. Punching in my number, I grab my time ticket and shove it into the back pocket of my jeans.

Now we play the waiting game. I trail over to the windows. The rain was still pouring down. The wind was blowing everything and anything in sight. There's no way I'm getting out of this building without being completely blown away. Driving right now could be way too dangerous.

There's no way I'm going home yet, so might as well just sit back and enjoy the shit show.

A message popped up on my Fazwatch, so I look down to it. It was from security. Vanessa wanted me to watch over chica's room off the clock. She's crazy. If I get snatched up by that crazy chicken I'll haunt her for the rest of her life.

I ignore the message and Sun follows me to the stairs. I look up them, dreading the walk. "Ugh, I'm exhausted. I just want to go home and sleep." My voice mumbles out.

A nice dinner and my bed sounds great right about now. My eyes are heavy, and the way my body aches tells me I did too much heavy labor. It was exhausting running around the huge work floor for nine hours straight. (One break in between).

"You're tired. Maybe you should go sit down for a bit." Sun says.

A part of me knows I should probably watch out for the glitching Chica, but the other part of me really wants to sit down somewhere. I falter over it in my head for a moment before coming up with a decision.

"I think I'd better stay down here." I sigh softly. Sun frowns, soon replacing it with another smile. It looked a little bitter. "Make sure you try to get some rest tonight. And don't go getting yourself into trouble!" He begins his walk upstairs. "I'll be up in the daycare if you need me. It's closing time, anyways. Goodnight!"

I nod. I was only half paying attention to what he had just told me. "Bye, Sun."

At least forty minuets pass by, and I'm still stuck inside the pizza plex. I've took to walking around the halls to keep myself awake. After a while of lingering around, I finally hear footsteps nearby. I sigh in relief.

The lights flicker in and out, causing my heart to drop. Oh hell no. The building better not shut down on me.

The footsteps were heavy, but they were around a corner. It had to have been security finally meeting me. "Vanessa, I'm glad you're back. I don't know how much longer I'd have been able to stay awake." I chuckle softly, rounding the corner only to not see Vanessa. Instead, I see Chica.

Fuck.

She stops, head clicking a few times as she stares at me. Her beak was cracked, and she looked dirty. When was the last thing anybody cleaned these poor things?

"Hey girl . ." My voice wobbles. "Don't you want to go back to your room where it's nice and comfy?" I ask in hopes of a positive answer.

"Y/N," her voice rings out. I cringe. "Don't you want to have some fun?"

She keeps walking closer. And closer. And closer to me. Chica has definitely been experiencing some malfunctioning. It doesn't seem too good.

"I'm a little tired out, heh." I mumble, backing up. The robotic chick makes its way closer, until finally approaching me. Her hand raises, and she lunges for me.

I fling myself backwards and feel my heartbeat in my throat.

This thing is trying to kill me!

"Woah, what the hell!" I scream, picking myself up and avoiding her direction. She had managed to give me a good cut, but it wasn't anything too serious. Not that I'm aware of, anyway.

The lights soon flicker out, leaving all but a couple exit signs to glow. I curse to myself.

I had to be one of the most unluckiest people in this place. My heart was racing out of my chestโ€” it was so dark. Having to find my way in all of these twists and turns we're going to be a bitch.

I make it back into the entrance area, and all that glows are some faint neon lights. Nothing bright enough to keep the darkness out, but at least I could partially see what I was doing. Chica's heavy footsteps near me as I trot to my station's counter. I know we carry flashlights behind there, so I run as fast as my feet can carry me without knocking myself into anything in the process.

A dull laughter now enters the room. It was too deep to be Chica. Who the hell else was in here?

"Fucking hell, now what?" I whisper to myself. My breath is hitched in my throat as I desperately feel around for the small light source.

Where the hell was Sun when I needed him?! Or at least, Freddy!

"Knock knock . ."

There was a chill falling down my spine. My skin was traced with anxiety flare ups.

That voice was NOT Chica.

Chica could still be heard stomping around the main entrance, chanting out things to lure me towards her. She should know I'm not a child, therefore I'm smarter to stay just where I am. Hidden, crouched down under the counter.

"It's past your bedtime, young lady . ."

A deep, rough voice mumbles beside me.

That was it. My heart had to have stopped completely. My eyes grew wide in fear, and I didn't dare to turn the flash on. Bells jingle near me and I cringe. It sounded like a fucking circus in here.

Two red eyes were glowing in front of me now.

"My my, aren't you pretty?"

"What the fuck!" I scatter to my feet, flashing him with the light. A screech echoes in the room. Almost too scared to look, I braced myself for the monstrosity I'd soon be faced with.

Chica turned around, and started walking towards me.

The thing in front of me turned out to be quite familiar. It's blue appearance, covered in stars. Little bells that would jingle as it moved.

It was Moon. It may not have been the same Moon as I used to know, but maybe Sun was right. Maybe, just maybe, he really would remember me and leave me to be safe.

"M-Moon?" I call out to him. As much as my gut tells me to run, I keep my feet glued to the floor. I must be crazy. Why do I trust him not to hurt me?

From up on the ceiling, he looks down to me. His brows furrowed, and he lands in front of where I stand. As he takes a few steps closer, I shrink backwards in fear. His hand reaches out and grabs the collar of my shirt, pulling me close to his face. He smells of lavender.

Just like he used to.

I wince, pulling my face away. His red eyes burn into me. After what felt like very long, silent hours, I notice his features shift into something much softer than what it was.

"Starlight?"
