ALMOST TIME FOR me to close down. Just a few more hours. The dining area had slowly started to lose more people over the hour, and sooner or later it'll be empty. Mentally, I'm thankful. This night went longer than I expected it to, with greedy customers, and sloppy kids needed extra napkins.

All I want to do is curl up in bed and watch Netflix, after taking a nice warm shower to get whatever crap of the night off of me.

I heard that the wind was really starting to pick up, and the rain had been pouring for the past few hours. I've noticed the lights flicker in and out in the dining room, earning everyone else's brief attention as well as mine.

Liz and Jason had been the only workers left with me, but they were now both getting ready to leave. The room was getting ready to shut down, and there was no doubts about it that it was creepy as hell in here by to yourself.

Sun had stopped to visit as wellโ€” he was somewhere in the dining room cleaning up little bits of dust under the tables, then rearranging the chairs. He apparently was a neat freak when it came to cleaning this place, I've learned. Why they'd make an animatronic have OCD, was beyond me.

The others were curious to why he was in there with us, as he apparently wasn't really able to leave the daycare much, aside from his counterpart Moon- - but they liked him as much as I did, so I never had to hear any complaining about it.

"Man, it's really pouring. I don't want my hair to get fucked up. I'm going out to meet up with Blake tonight." Liz interrupts my thoughts, hoping on top of the diner counter. She twirls a lock of curled hair around her finger anxiously.

Jason raised a brow, and stood across from us.

I smirk over at her. "Oooh. Whatchu guys got goin' on? Anything exciting?" A soft giggle escapes both of us as her cheeks flush.

I knew she had been hanging out with some guy now, but I didn't know if it was actually going anywhere. Liz likes to tell me allot about her love lifeโ€” sometimes a little more than I'd like to hear. But, regardless, I loved Liz, and I loved hearing about her life. It felt interesting, compared to mine.

Sun peeked his head up and got nosey. He probably liked hearing us all chat and gossip, since he was around kids all day. A little bit of a nice change of venue.

Jason stood before us, his arms crossing in defense. I watch as an irritation floods into his face. "You're still hanging with that guy? He's such a prick, Locker." Jason used her last name as a nickname. It was just something they've always done with each other. Apparently, I learned, Liz knew Jason from high school before they graduated, and had been pretty good friends. I sort of suspected he may have had a thing for her, but I could be wrong.

"Oh, shut it. He's hot, I don't care." Liz pinches her hand close in his face and flicks her hair off her shoulder with sass. A strand of her terse hair fell into her eyes. She brushed it back behind her pierced ear.

"Heyโ€” I'm just looking out for you. I'm a guy, I know what his intentions are." Jason shrugs, looking the two of us over. Mine and Liz's eyes meet, and I hold back my smile.

She smirked at him. "I don't think you realize, I wanted those intentions."

Liz and I started bursting into laughter. Jason huffs, shaking his head at us.

"Bro, whatever. I'm out of this convo." He cringes. We watch as he walks away to help Sun finish cleaning up.

Liz and I kept our laughing going until eventually, we settled down. "You guys going to be okay if I leave? I know you're supposed to stay passed close, but I still feel bad. You always get stuck with the shit work." She tells me. I nod, shrugging my shoulders. "Eh, I'll be fine. I've got Sun, here." My lips form a smile.

Liz leans forward and hushed her voice to a soft whisper. "Just be careful around him. If the power goes out, which unfortunately, I think it will, make sure you find the generator." She frowned. "There's a couple on each floor. But, most are around the daycare. So, I'd try to stay up there if I were you."

I narrow my eyes hesitantly. Why would I have to be careful around Sun? Isn't he like, one of the safest animatronics here?

"Don't freak me out like that. I'm sure it'll be fine." I nervously laugh her off. She stays looking wary, and soon glances to the bright animatronic. "Sun!" She calls out. He picks his head up and looks over to us.

"Yes?"

"Make sure you show Y/N where the generators are. She's staying late nights to clean up, and if she gets caught in the rain, I want her to be safe." Liz mentions.

"Oh, right!" Sun nears us. "You don't have to worry about the lights going out with me. I'll make sure they stay on at all times!" He called back. "I don't want anything happening to you." The animatronic looks back to me with furrowed brows.

What would happen?

Liz shakes her head. "She's going to be fine, Sun! Just don't let the lights go. She's mostly going to be down here, so keep her company." Liz started to walk pass, eyeing him down.

"Don't worry about that. I'll make sure she's safe!" He grins. "If not, there's always my security alert."

Liz and I look to each other and smile briefly. "Alright, alright. I know she'll be in good hands. I've heard you yell that one a few too many times." She waves him off. Grabbing her name brand purse, she makes her way over to the doors.

"Bye guys! Wish me luck." The redhead sticks her tongue out, giving us a small dance as she trots her way to the exit doors. Jason and I start cracking with laughter, and Sun watches as she leaves.

"Yeah, good luck keeping your hair dry." Jason calls out to her.

"Oh buzz off." She flips him off.

"Be safe." Sun tells her.

"I will!" She waves us off and leaves.

"I'm out of here, too. I think all you have to do is go around and check what floors to clean. Boss said that was about it. I'm guessing he just wants you to get more used to doing these things when some of us are out." Jason shrugs his shoulder at me. Sun sits and watches us with amusement.

"I hate doing these late night shifts, man." I keep my voice low as Jay walks up to the counter. "It's almost kind of freaky with all of these animatronics around; Sun an exception. Chica especially gives me the creeps. She was looking a little due for parts and service."

Jason nods hesitantly. I notice that he wanted to hold back, but let his mind win anyways. "I know what you mean. Look, last night after you left, I heard her calling my name. And, not in a friendly way." He says. My brows furrow a bit. "She got out of her room, and I had to get security to hunt her down." His brown eyes stared into mine. He looked pretty jittery. "It's been happening allot more recently. That never used to happen before."

I furrow my brows. "What? Stop messing around."

"I'm serious, (N/N). I was freaked out."

I glance over at Sun, and notice him walking up to us. He bends down to our level. "Why are we whispering?"

I smile nervously and look up at him. "Keep your voice down."

"I was telling her about Chica. You remember, right? It was after Y/N left." Jason mentioned to Sun. "Right! That was a bit of a crazy night." The celestial character chuckled awkwardly. "A bit of a glitch going on with that one . ." He trails off and I notice the falter in his voice.

I frown. "What the hell. She better not come for me next."

"I'll make sure you're safe. Don't worry!" Sun pinches my cheeks. I swat his hands away and laugh. "Stop doing that."

Jason shakes his head. "I'm gonna clock out now. I'll see you . . tomorrow?" He asks.

I never work Sundays anymore. He should remember that by now.

"Sunday's are my days off. Remember?" I smile. "I'll see you Tuesday. Because unlike someone, I remember when your days off are." I tease.

"I can't remember everything about you." He waves me off and grabs his things. "See 'ya."

Jason leaves as I look up at Sun.

And then there were two.
