part 3
08:17, 4 September 2025The days after the crash were a blur for Boom. His staff thought he was simply overworked, but deep down, he knew the truth: someone wanted him gone. And while he despised admitting it, the only reason he was still alive was Aou Thanaboon.
Boom spent late nights in his penthouse office, reviewing contracts, searching for enemies, anything to distract him. But no matter how hard he worked, his mind circled back to the mafia boss—the man who was both his savior and his biggest threat.
That night, as the clock struck midnight, a knock echoed through his penthouse. Boom tensed. Nobody ever came here without permission.
When he opened the door, Aou stood there. No guards. No weapons in sight. Just him.
“You shouldn’t be here,” Boom snapped.Aou stepped inside without waiting for permission, his presence filling the room like smoke.“And yet, here I am.”
Boom’s eyes narrowed. “You saved me just to play games?”
Aou’s lips curved into the smallest of smirks. “If I wanted to play games, I’d let you keep pretending you’re untouchable. But I’m not here for business tonight.”
His words hung in the air, heavy with something Boom didn’t want to name.
The tension crackled between them like fire. Boom’s pride screamed at him to push Aou away, but his instincts whispered something else: stay close, because danger feels safer when you can see it.
And then, Aou spoke again, his tone lower, softer—rarely heard from the ruthless mafia boss.“Someone in your circle wants you dead, Boom. Not me. Not my men. Someone closer than you think.”
Boom’s blood ran cold. “Do you expect me to believe you?”
Aou leaned closer, his eyes searching Boom’s. “I expect you to trust me. Just this once.”
Boom hated the way those words made his chest tighten. Trust was a luxury he never afforded anyone, let alone a criminal. But in Aou’s gaze, there was no lie. Only a dangerous truth that made Boom’s walls tremble.
What Boom didn’t know was that his empire was being eaten from the inside—by a traitor in his own company. Aou knew it. A rival syndicate knew it. And soon, Boom would be forced to choose:
Join Aou, and gain protection in exchange for giving up some of his control.
Stand alone, and risk losing everything he built.
But tangled in this fight for survival was something far more dangerous than bullets or betrayal: the pull of desire neither man could resist.
The mafia boss who craved control. The CEO who swore never to kneel.
And when two storms collide, destruction—or passion—was inevitable.
