__________________<■>________________Zeref punched a training dummy and it not only smashed to pieces but flew back with enough force to damage the tree behined it.

Hinata could only look with shock even if its been a few months his strength still shocks her.

Together they (Zeref) found a way to fuse both the Uchiha Katas and the Hyuga Katas, what this did was cover both katas weaknesses.

The Uchiha being to weak, the Hyuga being to slow, it was a perfect mix of fast heavy hitting attacks.

The dummy was a tester hence why the tree behind it was currently falling to the ground.

"I-I still c-can't believe yo-you fused them" Hinata said.

"Hn" Zeref said unconscious of what noise he made as he was too deep in thought.

Hinata could only sweat drop at the boy who made the very noise he despised.

She was also aware of the weights Zeref wore.

He wore weights on his arms and legs, his Sandles were weights, his T-shirt under his sleeveless hoodie was a weight and his plain headband that he wore on his head was a weight.

It honestly shocked her how much the boy trained, she once saw him climb up the cliff side he loves, with no chakra to enhance his strength.

She also saw him swing a weight in the shape of a sword from morning till night.

Then there was the time he caused a huge explosion and all that was left was some paper which made her assume he knew some Fuinjustu.

How could she ever forget the time were a massive rumble came with the sound of an explosion, but no one Ninjas or Civilians could find out were it came from, until the Hokage himself pointed out the massive Genjustu, that covered Zeref and the source of the explosion, which was a failed Fuinjutsu.

He was her idol and her best friend, any problems she had he was the first to know, she never knew why but sometimes she trusted him more then she trusted herself.

"Well, that's training done, I'm going on a trip for the week, so practice our Katas and you Ninjutsu." The boy said.

"Hai" Hinata said before she ran off home.

Zeref went back to his own apartment, he was going to go on a trip to Suna, the past few months made him notice the thin alliance between Konoha and Suna, he wanted to explore and train before the trust was gone. This year he would visit, next year he would go there to train, then the year after he would go Kumo.

Even though Zeref was painfully aware that Kumo hated Konoha he couldn't deny that their Kenjustu was unmatched he wanted training from the best, and the most untouched, killer bee, though he knew that wasn't going to be easy.

The Hokage was aware of this trip as Zeref wanted to get out of Konoha as it 'hurt to much' he was surprised the old man believed that.

He had been researching into the Uchiha and into Itachi.

He hasn't found much, it was almost like any info on either of them had straight up disappeared.

It pissed him off.

When he got to his apartment he saw empty Ramen cups on the floor and a empty box for tomatoes on the side. He also saw a mop of blond hair on his couch, and the classic black hair that defies the laws of physics, on the small side chair.

Zeref could only sigh.

During the past few months he found out Naruto had often been chased by the villagers and couldn't even hide in his own home, so Zeref gave him a spare key to his house.

He also found out sometimes Sasuke wouldn't Make it back to his apartment, because it was too far from the training grounds so gave him a spare key since his home was much closer than Sasuke's.

So walking into his home and seeing the idiot duo asleep was a very common occurrence.

He only had one rule.

Stay out of his room.

His room held seals that protected it from people who he didn't trust, so that meant they could enter it, but it held information on the Uchiha, seals, heck even the Kyubi and the Uzumaki.

As well as papers for what he could do with the Uchiha compound.

There were currently three known Uchiha's left.

Itachi was a rogue so he couldn't have the land.

Sasuke was next in line, but denied the position, so he could devote his life to trying to kill Itachi.

Zeref was next after Sasuke but also denied position as head until he was old enough, the Hokage said he could start when he was 10, Zeref said he would take responsibility once he hit 16, but he still had the papers for it.

Packing his bag, he left a note for the idiots to not eat out his supply, and if they did eat anything to replace it while he was gone.

Before he could leave however Sasuke was awake and standing by the front door.

"Why won't you help me?" He asked.

This was not the first time they've had this talk and most certainly would not be the last.

"I've told you a million times why" Zeref replied.

"What is there to look for, he told us why he did it" Sasuke hissed as to not wake up the village loudmouth.

"You never listen, something is wrong with this situation, information is missing, you don't kill defenseless children to test you power" Zeref explained.

Sasuke narrowed his eyes at him.

"At least help me train" Sasuke demanded, knowing fully well that the boy is much stronger than him.

"Sasuke, I'm going on my trip, let's talk after" Zeref said leaving.

Sasuke sighed and went back to his spot to sleep.

"Whatever " Sasuke muttered as Zeref opened the door.

"I knew you never cared" he whispered closing his eyes.

He missed the look of hurt on Zerefs face as he heard what he whispered. Closing the door Zeref headed to the gate.

Signing out Zeref was now on his way to Suna thinking about what Sasuke said. It surprisingly hurt more than Zeref thought it would.

Zeref saw Sasuke as his brother, hearing him say that was basically a sword through his chest.

"I'm not losing my little brother ever again" he vowed thinking about Natsu.

The journey to Suna was shockingly peaceful. It took him two days to get there, the forest changed to a desert about halfway through day two.

It took him a minute to adjust to the sudden temperature change.

When he arrive at Suna he handed the guard his pass before walking in, he was very happy at the aesthetically pleasing look of the village, the aura of it was actually very similar to Konoha just much more on guard.

He arrived at a hotel played the correct price for three days and placed his bags in his room.

Grabbing his money he headed straight to the market to grab gifts for the idiot duo and Hinata.

He got a cacti and as many Suna edition packets of ramen as he could hold. He then got Ninja wire for Sasuke and Some supposedly Special Suna grown Tomatoes, how they grew them in a desert he had no idea.

Finally he got purple finger less gloves made with silk and had metal plates on the back for Hinata.

When day one was completed he was drained, but wanted to see the stars from Suna.

He jumped onto the roof of his Hotel which wasn't too far from the Kazekage tower, and looked at the sunset.

Suna was shockingly beautiful, in it's own sandy way.

While waiting for the sun to set he heard some sand moving, he ignored it at first thinking it was the wind, seeing as there was a light breeze, but the sudden Chakra fluctuation and the the K.I was enough to put the boy on guard.

"Do you mind attempting to kill me after I've had a good look at the stars." Zeref said.

He could feel the confusion radiating of this person.

"Who are you?" A voice asked, it sounded Male, but high pitched, so a child, roughly around his age.

"I'm Zeref Uchiha, you?" He asked, glancing to his right where he heard the boy walk to.

He spotted a flash of red, he didn't look at it long enough to say what type of red.

"I want to kill you" the boy said bluntly.

Zeref chose to look at the boy fully, he saw a mix of rich, and blood red hair, seafoam eyes with black rings around them, the kanji for love above his left eye, and a brown bear held tightly in his arms.

"Why?" Zeref asked, never letting his guard down.

"Mother went quiet in your presence, you frighten mother, so your a danger" he explained.

Zeref lifted his eyebrow at that.

"I'm going to assume that 'mother' is a voice in your head" he stated.

The boy nodded his head.

"Well Panda-kun tell 'mother' that I have no intention of harming anyone on this trip." Zeref said.

The boys eyes widened at Zeref.

"Panda-kun?" He asked.

"Hai, you never told me your name so I gave you a nickname" Zeref explained.

A wave of sand flew at Zeref but he jumped out of the way.

"That wasn't nice" Zeref said, his Sharingan flashed in his eyes.

"I'll kill you" the boy said.

Zeref walked toward him dodging the spikes of sand.

He grabbed the boys hand and pulled him in for a hug, The boy stiffened, and started shaking slightly before calming down and accepted the hug.

"Well that was easy" Zeref said.

" I will kill you" the boy repeated.

"So I've heard Panda-kun"

Zeref sat back down and looked at the now star filled sky.

The boy sat next to him.

"Why aren't you afraid?" He asked.

"What's there to be afraid of?" Zeref asked.

"I tried to kill you  I want to kill you, I'm a monster, yet you hold no fear" the boy explained.

"I'm a Ninja, death is in the job description. Anyone who is powerful enough is deemed as a monster, trust me I have nothing to fear about you Panda-kun" Zeref explained.

The two sat in silence watching the stars in the sky.

"Gaara" the boy said.

"Huh?"

"My name, is Gaara of the Sand"

It was silent until a light snicker was heard.

"G-gaara of the sand" Zeref confirmed.

"Yes, what's so funny"

"N-n-nothing " Zeref said.

"I'll kill you" Gaara said.

"Thanks for the heads up Panda-kun"

"My name is Gaara, not Panda"

"You look like a panda, so that's what I'll call you.

"Why?"

"Its better than being named after a demon who only loves himself" Zeref explained.

Gaara looked at Zeref in shock.

"Sooo, wanna be friends" Zeref asked giving a small but toothy grin.

"Friends?"

"Yeah, that way when you come to Konoha I can give you a tour, and some of the best foods we have" Zeref explained.

"Freind, fine, but if you attack me I'll kill you" Gaara explained.

"So I've heard" Zeref said sarcastically.

Zeref gave a large yawn.

"Anyway, it's late and I'm tired, see ya tomorrow Panda-kun."

"Gaara, its Gaara" he grumbled, K.I flowing of him

"Yeah yeah, Panda-kun, night" he said heading back to his room.

He missed the small smile Gaara gave.

The next day Zeref wantedbti explore Suna, many find some good spots to train.

He found a cliff side, but unlike his one it was pretty smooth, that would make it harder to climb, which was perfect.

He found a few training grounds, with Ninja and ninja in training all practicing.

He even saw a person, with what looks like a cat hood, and purple markings on their face using puppets. He was thinking of training with them just so he knew the best way to counter puppets and Chakra strings, but maby next year, he wanted to enjoy his break.

Zeref kept walking and with Dango in his hand, from a store he saw earlier he came across a park.

It was simple, open field, swings and a sandbox.

He saw a group of kids on the feild playing with a ball, and a familiar flash of red on the swings glaring at nothing.

Which kind of reminded him of Sasuke.

With no hesitation Zeref called out to his new friend.

"Oi, Panda-kun!" He Shouted.

All the kids looked at him, but only ones eyes flashed with recognition.

Zeref walked straight to Gaara.

"NO!!" a voice shouted.

Zeref stopped in his tracks and looked at the group of kids.

"Huh?" Zeref muttered.

"Don't go near him, he's a monster and Dangerous" the kid shouted. The group behined them agreeing.

Zeref looked at the kids with a blank face, but when he saw the flash of hurt on Gaara's face change to anger he knew what to do.

"Ehhh?? Mind your business kid, I know who he his. He is Gaara of the sand, one of my best friends, if your going to talk about him like that I might kill you myself, now SCRAM!" He shouted the kids scattered in fear.

Zero then continued to walk over to Gaara and sat down in front of him.

"Did you mean that?" Gaara muttered.

"Hai, Panda-kun, want one?" He asked handing Gaara one of his Dango sticks.

Gaara looked at it like it was on of the worlds biggest mysteries before taking a bite.

Zeref saw Gaara's child like innocence flash for a second.

"Oh yeah I'm leaving tomorrow" Zeref stated.

Gaara looked up, eyes wide.

"W-what? Was it because of me? Do you hate me too!?" He shouted sand rising around him, his heart beating unusually fast.

Zeref jumped up and hugged him, Gaara could feel his face beating up, his heart rate slowing down.

"Relax, I'm not leaving because I Hate you dummy, I'm leaving because my trip comes to an end tomorrow, but relax, I'll be back next year for longer, for some training." Zeref explained.

Gaara looked upset.

"Can we keep in touch" Gaara asked blushing like Hinata, Zeref was very confused as to what brought out the blush.

"Of course, I'll get a hawk when I get back so we can send letters to each other. Now come on we still have all day, and night to play" Zeref said.

And so day two came to a close.

Day three was a sad one.

After playing, buying more ramen, Zeref stood at the front gate of Suna.

Gaara stood with him.

"Goodbye " Gaara said, he sounded like thw world was ending and looked like someone just kicked a dog.

"Don't worry Panda-Kun, I'll see you again., and were going to keep in touch, don't be too sad. Smile, even if it's a small one it can change your day" Zeref said.

He hugged the boy one last time, who was getting used to physical contact, and left the gates.

Gaara stared at Zerefs retreating figure with almost longing eyes.

Zeref held his hand in the air without looking back and Gaara's eyes lit up with admiration.

And so ended his trip to Suna.

It took longer to get home as he was walking back, opposed to running that he did on the way to Suna.

Zeref was walking down a dirt path when a group surrounded him.

Bandits.

Without even waiting for them to demand items Zerefs, Sharingans were blazing and all four of the men were locked in a Genjustu. Wasting no time he made a fire ball and killed, or knocked some out, before he continued walking.

Zeref was slightly shocked, he wasn't sure if it was from how far he had come, or how weak those men were.

When he saw the village gates he headed to the two idiots who call themselves guards, who were once again fast asleep.

Without bothering to wake them up he signed the papers and walked back to his apartment. He was honestly surprised the leaf hasn't been attack yet with those two guarding it.

Walking back into his apartment, he saw it was a mess.

It was roughly around midday, there were Ramen cups, and empty boxes of tomatoes everywhere, it stunk.

Zeref was pissed.

He placed all of his stuff in his room, which appeared to be the only clean place in his house, before setting off to find the Idiot duo.

He walked into the academy, his hair covered his eyes, but the aura around him was enough.

He went straight to class and opened the door.

"Ah Zeref welcome back" Iruka said.

No words were exchanged, Zeref walked straight to Sasuke who was closest and grabbed him by the ear, he then walked to Naruto who was at the top, so yes he dragged Sasuke up stairs, and grabbed his ear.

With both boys in his clutches he dragged them back down the stairs, out of the building through the streets, up more stairs and into his apartment.

"Hn!"

"THE HELL WAS THAT FOR BELEIVE IT!!!!"

But from one look in his eye they could tell he was pissed.

"This room needs to be spotless. Now" he demanded.

Naruto tried to argue back but from the new bruises forming on him, you could tell who won.

When the chore was completed, he gave Naruto his Limited edition, Suna Ramen, and put some away for himself, and gave Sasuke his tomatoes, again putting some away for when they appear unannounced, and kicked them out.

Tomorrow he would have to get a messenger bird, but it would be worth it.
