Chapter 61

I'm still sitting down on my bed and read my book. I close my book and walk out from my bedroom and walk to the kitchen until I see Sam is laying down on the couch and closing his eyes.

"Sam?" I pat his cheek.

"Uh what?" Sam opens his eyes.

"Why are you sleeping here?" I ask him.

"Mercedes and I broke up so I slept here." Sam sighs.

"Sleep in my room." I said to him.

"With you?" Sam raises his eyebrows.

"No, silly. I will sleep here." I said to him and sit down next to him.

"I know that face. You're not okay." Sam turns his face at me.

"What do you know." I roll my eyes.

"P, we dated for eight months. Of course I know." Sam simply said.

"I just miss my dad, my mom, Maddox, Jesse, and Blaine." I said to him.

"Why am I not on that list?" Sam frowns at me.

"You're here next to me." I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Oh.. right.." Sam simply nods. "But you went out with Alex a lot now."

"Yeah it's actually feel comfortable to be around him and we went to music store then sang this romantic song which at the end we kissed. But deep in my heart it's not right." I sigh and hug my legs.

"Because you're in love with Mike." Sam simply said. "You know Alex and I weren't good friends because I always gave him death stare since he was trying to be male lead and trying to make move on you when we were dating."

"I know. You are kind of person who can't hide your jealousy." I chuckle. "What happened between you and Mercedes?"

"We decided that it's better to focus on our career and work professionally." Sam says to me.

I lean my head on his shoulder and sigh. "Moment like this that make me miss my dad the most. Oh Blaine too." I chuckle.

"Why Blaine?" Sam rubs my sleeve.

"Because Blaine is my close friend. Since senior year everytime I had problem I talked to him even when we fought." I said to him.

"Yeah me either." Sam nods.

"We were powerful trio but now he has gone been eating by New York City monster." I simply said.

"I will call him tomorrow." Sam kisses my head.

I sigh and rest my legs on the table in front of the couch. Sam keeps rubbing my sleeve and lean his head on top my head. I close my eyes slowly as I'm still leaning my head on Sam's shoulder.

"So this is the UCLA dorm looks like." I said to Jesse and sits down on his bed.

"What's wrong? You seems not okay." Jesse sits down next to me.

"What are you gonna do when you're still in love with your ex who has baby with his ex but then came this guy who is really nice and then you two kissed after singing a romantic song?" I turn my face at him.

"Complicated." Jesse simply nods.

"I know." I sigh and lay down in his bed. "I don't know what should I do."

"Tell him that you're dating me." Jesse lays down next to me.

"I already told him that I'm single. How can I suddenly tell him that I'm dating you?" I roll my eyes.

"Maybe you should move on. You don't want to be in between of Mike Chang and his ex girlfriend also their son right?" Jesse turns his face at me. "By the way, I'm still can't believe that he actually have a kid." Jesse says to me.

"But he took the DNA test." I said to Jesse.

"But what if the doctor is working with that woman to fake the test? Like in a movie?" Jesse frowns at me.

"But the baby is really looks like him though." I sigh.

"So when you and him are married, you will have a step son." Jesse chuckles.

"Jesse, I need a serious solution." I sigh and sit up.

"Have you ever thought about us getting together?" Jesse asks me.

"Yes and it's disgusting." I frown at him.

"Really? I thought about us dating a lot. It will be like we already going on the one hundredth date." Jesse chuckles.

"Jesse please." I roll my eyes and lean my back against the wall.

"Whoa.. Jesse got a new chick here. Finally." Two guys walk in and smirk at me.

"She is my best friend since we were little." Jesse simply said.

"Is she single?" A brunette guy asks Jesse.

"Yes but she is gay." Jesse simply said and give me a sign to not say anything.

"Well too sad." They walk out as one of them grab a jacket.

"Who are they?" I ask Jesse.

"One of them is my roommate. They both like the biggest player in UCLA so be careful. That's why I told them you're gay because I don't want them bothering you." Jesse says to me.

"Most of the time, I hate you but sometimes you're so sweet." I cup his cheeks and chuckle.

"P, be with me." Jesse smiles at me.

"I'm still in love with Mike." I frown at him. "And I don't dig older guys."

"Ah really? Mike Chang is older than you." Jesse simply said.

"It will be weird if we both dating. We can't talk to each other again once we broke up. We can't share our secret like this." I said to him.

"But I love you. I'm sad seeing you being like this. I want to protect you." Jesse says to me.

"I love you too. But I'm not in love with you." I smile at him and lay down next to him. "Maybe if we both are thirty and still single, we can marry each other. How's that?"

"When you're thirty I'm gonna be thirty three." Jesse simply said.

"You're gonna be a hot daddy just like Mike now." I laugh.

"If we have kids, I want to name the boy with Dash and the girl with Clarissa." Jesse smiles at me.

"Dash is my cat's name." I chuckle.

"I love Dash Parr from The Incredibles." Jesse chuckles.

"Just like Maddox. That's why he named our cat Dash." I chuckle.

Jesse turns his face at me. He flipped my hair and move my hair from my face. I turn my eyes at him and just look at him until he pulls his face closer to me.

"Jesse!" I stop him and raise my eyebrows.

"I'm so sorry. I can't help it." Jesse sighs.

"Look, if we both kiss it will be like Joey and Phoebe kissed." I frown at him.

"But they did." Jesse simply nod.

"But it wasn't right." I shake my head.

"You hungry? Wanna go out and have lunch?" Jesse asks me and gets up.

"Sure." I nod and get up.

I take my bag and walk out from Jesse's dorm room.

I enter my apartment room and see dad is sitting down on the couch. "Dad?" I smile at him and run to him then hug him. "What are you doing here?"

"I have school meeting board in Brentwood about the curriculum so I came over to check on you." Dad smiles at me.

"I miss you so bad. Where are you staying?" I ask dad.

"In Four Seasons Los Angeles. I missed you too!" Dad smiles at me.

"How come you came in here?" I ask him and walk to my room.

"Oh Sam was here then he went out to work. Where have you been?" Dad asks me.

"I went to classes. Then I met Jesse and had lunch with him. You already have lunch? Want me to cook you something?" I raise my eyebrows at him.

"I want you to talk to me. Sit." Dad pats on the seat next to him.

I sit down next to him and nod. "Okay.. but I swear I didn't teach Maddox anything or do something bad." I said to him.

"No. Are you okay?" Dad asks me.

"Dad what are you talking about? I'm okay." I chuckle.

"Because last time you left the house I know you're not okay. I'm worried about you." Dad says to me.

"Well.." I shrug.

"Tell me, pumpkin." Dad rubs my hair. "You always go to your dad everytime you have problem or something that you're confused." Dad says to me.

"I don't know whether I should move on or stay." I sigh. "I'm still in love with Mike but he has kid with his ex girlfriend. And Alex suddenly came along and we hang out allot. And at the end of the day we sang this romantic song and we kissed. Now I don't know what am I going to do. Jesse said that I should move on because I can't be in between that kid. I mean, Mike has his own family now."

"Well, I think Jesse is right. You hated Miss Pillsbury because she was in between your mom and I. You didn't want her to break your family. You got what I mean right?" Dad says to me.

I nod and lean my head on the couch. "But what if I can't move on from Mike?"

"All you need to do is try. You will never know if you never try. Try to open your heart to someone else. You want to break Mike's family?" Dad asks me.

"No." I shake my head. "Logan will hate me if I do that." I half smiled.

"Sweetie, I'm really worried about you." Dad says to me.

"Daddy, I'm fine." I smile at him.

Suddenly someone opens the door. I take a look a bit and see Mike and Sam walking in pushing the stroller.

"Good daddies." Dad laughs.

"You think that Mike and I could be a perfect couple?" Sam laughs and puts his arm around Mike's shoulder.

"Ew no!" Mike frowns. "Hi. Mr. Schue, how are you?" Mike smiles at dad.

"I'm fine. I have meeting in Brentwood and make sure that my little girl is fine." Dad smiles back at him. "Where have you been?"

"Oh I went to hospital to see his mom." Mike says to him.

"Is she okay?" Dad frowns.

"Yeah." Mike nods and walks away.

My gaze keep following him. I know Mike is not okay. Like something is stuck inside his head but I don't know what is it.

"Hey!" Dad flicks his fingers in front of my face. "Okay. I'm going back to my hotel room and I want you to have dinner with me tonight." Dad gets up.

"Alright." I smile at him.

"Okay. Don't forget to lock the door." Dad rubs my hair and walk out from the apartment.

I lock the door and walk to my bedroom. I turn my face to Mike's room as its right in front of mine. He just laying down in his bed and seems so tired. I feel like I just want to hug him right now but I can't. He is not mine. And I heard from Sam that he got back together with her. Maybe dad and Jesse are right, I should move on.

I laugh as I sit down on Mike's bed and looking at Logan. "I did it again!" I laugh and hold Logan.

"I can't thank your dad enough for all of these cute clothes." Mike says to me.

"I picked out some of them." I giggle. "Mike?"

"Yeah?" Mike turns his face at me.

"Are you okay?" I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Yes I'm okay. Just a lot of things going on lately but I'm fine." Mike nods.

"How it feels like to be twenty and have a son?" I ask him.

"Amazing and nervous. I'm glad that I got my parents being supportive of me." Mike sits down next to me.

"Do you ever regret him?"

"No. He is an amazing kid and he reminds me so much of you maybe because I love him so much." Mike turns his face at me.

"Mike, you know that why I don't want to be in between you and Val? Because I don't want Logan to hate me. I hated Miss Pillsbury so much because of her, my parents got divorced and I don't want Logan to think that because of me, he couldn't have his little family with his two parents." I said to him.

"Do you love me?"

"I will always do. Never gonna change." I smile at him. "It's just I will hate myself so much if I be in between you and Val."

"So what are you gonna do?" Mike asks me.

"I don't know. You're dating her right? So I probably gonna move on and be with Alex." I turn my face at him.

"I know this is weird for coming from my mouth but he is a good guy and he will make you happy." Mike smiles at me.

I smile back at him and lean my head on his shoulder. "How come you make this beautiful creature that really looks like you?" I chuckle and lean Logan's back against my lap.

Logan just looking at us and trying to put his hand on his mouth. I chuckle and pull his hand away. I kiss his belly and he start giggling.

"Lay him down so he will sleep." Mike says to me.

I lay him down and lean his head on my arm. I rub his belly slowly to make him fall asleep. "Look at the stars, look how they shine for you and everything you do. Yeah they were all yellow. I came along. I wrote a song for you and all the things you do and it was called yellow." I'm singing while rubbing his belly.

Mike smiles and rubs my head as Logan start closing his eyes. I keep singing my favorite song ever that the song dad always sing since I was baby for my lullaby.

Logan is finally fall asleep. I put him on his crib slowly and put the blanket around him. I smile and turn my face at Mike.

"Fifty bucks for making him sleep." I grin at Mike and show him my hand.

"Fifty millions dollar if you can make me fall asleep." Mike pulls my hands and makes me fall on top of him.

"Mickey!" I laugh.

"Ssshhhh." Mike chuckles and put his hand covered my mouth.

"You have a girlfriend." I said to him.

"I'm dating her to make her parents happy. Val and I know this isn't right because we don't love each other. But this is for her last moment to live." Mike says to me.

"Last moment to live?" I raise my eyebrows and lay down next to him.

"Yeah. Come to the hospital tomorrow and you will understand. Apparently, Val also want to talk to you." Mike nods and rubs my hair.

I smile and nod then get up. I walk out from Mike's bedroom and open my bedroom door. I see Sam is already sleeping in my bedroom. I roll my eyes and he spreads his legs and his arms like blocking me to sleep.

I sigh and walk back to Mike's room then jump to his bed and hug a pillow. "Good night." I simply said.

"Why are you sleeping here?" Mike asks me.

"Sam is sleeping in my bed. Maybe I will exchange the bed in my bedroom and change into bunk bed or two single bed for him and I." I said to him and pull the blanket all over my body. "Don't ever think about cuddle."

Mike chuckles and rubs my hair. I make aslant backing him and hug a pillow. I close my eyes slowly and falling asleep.

"Why are we here?" Alex asks me as we are in IKEA.

"Because I need to buy twin bed. For Sam and I. Since Mercedes and him broke up, he stole my bed and sometimes he slept on the couch. I feel sorry for him so as a best friend maybe buy him a twin bed it will be good idea. I also want to decor my room." I smile at him.

"I know you got the biggest room." Alex rubs my hair.

"No I don't. Mike got the biggest one since he needs to share with nursery. Mercedes and I got the same size. I mean, Sam also pay the rent so he deserves to get a bedroom." I said to him.

"Yeah that's true." Alex nods.

"You don't mind if I become roommate with him right?" I ask Alex.

"I'm not your boyfriend." Alex chuckles and look around.

"But if you are, will you mind?" I raise my eyebrows at him.

"Not at all. I know you're just doing what a friend should do." Alex shakes his head. "Are we even in a relationship?" Alex giggles.

"I'm afraid we are." I smile at him.

"But I never.." Alex giggles.

"Ask me out? That's so sixteen." I laugh.

Alex chuckles and cup my cheeks then kisses me softly. I put my arms around his shoulder and kiss him back until we pull our lips away.

"Alright, I'm gonna go back look up for the stuff." I said to Alex and look around.

"Do you need help?" Alex asks me.

"Yes but soon to bring these stuff." I giggle.

"I know that." Alex rolls his eyes.

I giggle and pick up a lamp and look at it. Yes I'm going to decorate my room so Sam will have room and stop stealing my bed or sleep on the couch. It's not fair that he is also pay the rent but he doesn't get a room.

I cover Sam's eyes with a scarf and walk lead him to our bedroom. "Please be naked when I open my eyes." Sam simply said.

"Obviously not!" I roll my eyes and take off the scarf. "Surprise!" I grin at him.

"What's the difference?" Sam raises his eyebrows. "Oh there are two beds. We shared bedroom? Cool." Sam grins at me.

"Yup. You deserve a bedroom. I change the position. We usually sleep facing the window now we sleep backing the window. And we can share this closet and that bathroom so don't mess it up." I said to him.

"Thank you so much!" Sam hugs me.

I chuckle and hug him back. "My dad gave me more money and I decided to redecorate this room." I giggle. "Do you like it?"

"I love this room." Sam smiles at me.

"I call this bed!" I laugh and jump to my bed.

"Alright but I have surprise for you." Sam takes my hand and walks lead me.

I raise my eyebrows at him. "Where are we going?"

"I won't tell." Sam walks lead me out from the apartment. "Lock the door." Sam says to me.

I locked the door and put the keys inside my pocket. Sam keeps walking lead me until we walk upstairs in the emergency exit. I frown and keep walking following him until we get into the roof top of the building.

"Surprise!" Blaine turns around and smiles at us.

I run to him and hug him really tight. "You're in L.A." I grin at him.

"Mr. Schuester's idea. He said that his daughter needs his best friends back and he sent me flight tickets." Blaine smiles at me.

"We are going to have the power of trio again!" I jump happily at them.

I can't believe that my best friends are here. We can do crazy things together again. It could be fun. Literally.
