Naruto's POV

Hinata was still sleeping in my arms when I woke up. I gently pushed her aside and got up. There were still some drunk people in my house laying either on the couches or on the floor. It was still six o'clock so after they were gone I got some time to clean up. Thank God I locked all the guest rooms before the party began or I would have to deal with the couples that decided to get private.

"Ouch!" Hinata said when she woke up holding her head with one hand and sat up in my bed.

"There's a painkiller and water on the nightstand beside you." I informed her. I was leaning on the door frame of the bathroom with crossed arms.

"Thank you!" She replied with a sleepy voice. "What's the time?"

"7:30." I answered and her eyes widened.

"Kuso, we're gonna be late! It's Tuesday, right? Wait, I don't have clothes here, I should go home first but that would take too much time, chikusho!" She jumped out of the bed murmuring to herself but was way too weak and dropped on the floor.

"Whoa, take it easy, princess!" I helped her to get up on her feet. "We're not going to school today, I already called granny Tsunade to tell her you're feeling a little sick and I just don't want to go." I explained.

"Baka!"

"It's spelled 'Thank you'." I corrected her.

"No, you really are an idiot! How would you know I'm sick if I'm home and you're at your place? Now I have to tell her I was at a party at your house and I drank too much and slept with you." I laughed. "I mean slept in your home." She then added.

"Relax, she didn't ask any questions. Granny knows exactly what's going on tho."

"This doesn't help."

"Come on, we have a lot to do today. But first, you should really take a shower, ttebayo." I wrinkled my nose.

"I don't stink!"

"You do, you smell like alcohol."

"Don't be such a pussy, you put that in your body every time there's a party, don't you, foxy." She came closer to me.

"I don't drink." I almost fully closed the gap between us. "Princess." And we stood like that staring into each other's eyes. "Enjoying the view?" I teased her raising a brow not breaking the eye contact.

"Not as much as you." Hinata responded with attitude. "However, I now am going to go freshen up." She entered the bathroom and closed the door. I knocked on the door after following her. "Get gone!" She shouted.

"Don't you need a towel? And another shampoo or you want to carry my scent with you?"

Hinata then opened the door a crack and showed only her head. "What're you waiting for? Bring me the things I need!" She bossed.

"The magic word?"

"Hinata slash princess. Now go, foxy."

"Fine fine." I exited my room and got the needed things from the nearby guest rooms. After I came back and handed her the things I headed for the kitchen.

Hinata's POV

I was very grateful that Naruto was thoughtful enough to bring me everything I needed including a brand new toothbrush. When I was done I peeked through the door to see if it was safe for me to come out. Naruto wasn't there so I got out of the bathroom and dressed up. I could've done it in the bathroom but I'm not used to it so I took advantage of the fact he wasn't here. I was all ready after a few minutes. What should I do now? Wait for Naruto to come back...or go find him myself. I decided I was going to explore. I then opened the door to exit the room and a little folded note fell in my feet. It said 'Did someone say Taco Tuesday? (you'll find me on the stage \I may or may not expect a personal show from you tho\ <3) Love, foxy'. Great, Naruto is in the kitchen, I'm starving.

Somehow I managed to get to the kitchen regardless of the few times I thought I was lost.

"You may or may not have to expect me to punch slash kick you so hard you won't be able to get up for another week." I greeted Naruto with a big fake smile waving the piece of paper he left in front of his face.

"Confident much, aren't we?" He smirked.

"I'm starving. Give me food!" I ordered him.

"You really enjoy bossing around, don't you, princess?"

"I do. Now go get me something to eat." I shooed him with my hands. He, however, didn't go but came closer to me and picked me up bridal style. "No! What're you doing?" I exclaimed.

"We are making breakfast. If you don't work you don't eat, darling." He put me down when we reached the oven.

"Darling? What are you British now?" I said with a fake accent. "What are we cooking?" I questioned after that.

"Good old-fashioned pancakes." Naruto answered.

"Yummy!"

We took the ingredients and the cooking vessels we needed. Naruto helped me sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Then I made a well in the center, poured the rest of the elements and mixed it while Naruto took a frying pan and heated it over medium-high heat.

Naruto began frying and I tried to sit on the empty space next to the oven. The problem was that I couldn't. Regardless of my attempts I just couldn't. Not until Naruto placed his hands on both sides of me and placed me on top of it. He was close. And I liked it. The world once again stopped while we were staring into each other's eyes. I leaned closer and closer to his face.

"Your pancake's going to burn, foxy." I said inches away from his face. He could close the distance in a heartbeat if he wanted to.

"Do you want it to?" He asked with a serious expression like he was asking 'May I kiss you?'.

"No?" Yes, you do! Shut up, internal voice. I leaned back and Naruto got back to making the pancakes.

After we were done with the cooking we ate the pancakes we made which were delicious, to say the least.

"What are we gonna do now?" Naruto questioned sitting on the couch in the living room.

"I don't know, play hide and seek in the big house?" I suggested the dumbest thing.

"This sounds interesting." He gave me a glance that said 'I'm actually considering the idea'.

"What are we, five?" I glanced back at him. We looked exactly like we were sharing one brain cell.

"I'm hiding first!" Naruto jumped off of the couch.

"What?! No!" I protested. "I don't even know the place that well."

"That's a way to explore it." He winked at me and ran away. I closed my eyes and started counting.

A hundred seconds after I opened my eyes again then started searching.

Somehow I ended up in a long dark corridor that creeped me out. There were plenty of rooms. I was afraid to check them because 1) what if it was Naruto's parents' room and 2) what if something scary comes out of it. I started speed walking then jogging until I was kind of sprinting.

"BOO!" Naruto jumped in front of me out of nowhere.

"AAA!" I screamed a little too loud. "Dammit, you scared me, Naruto!" I punched him on the arm.

"Yeah, that was the point." He laughed. "Come on, you're hiding now."

"Normal couples are not doing this, you know." I chuckled.

"Couples?" Naruto looked at me like I grew another head.

"What couples?" I looked back at him confused.

"You just said that." He raised a brow.

"I didn't." I shook my head.

"Yes, you did."

"Why would I say it?" I was very confused.

"Because you love me." He stated.

"Why don't you ask me out?" I offered.

"You want me to ask you out?" Naruto asked.

"Yes, so I can reject you properly, of course." I smirked his way. "I guess you'll have to try to find out." I added. "Now let's play, it's my turn to hide." I ran away hearing him counting behind my back.

I found myself in the kitchen and decided to hide behind the pillar. Lame, I know, but two minutes already passed which means Naruto already started searching for me. And he knows his home well, it must be easy for him to find me. Or maybe he is going to pull another prank on me...

"There you are!" Naruto blocked my way with his left hand. "Behind the column, princess. Really, that was the best you could come up with?" My eyes widened when I saw him. Then I did what every other person would do.

I escaped from the right and ran out of the kitchen. But Naruto was too fast. I made two or three steps outside the kitchen when he grabbed my wrist and pulled me close to him. I'll repeat myself when I say we again were too close to each other.

"You know, I might have wanted that pancake to burn." I whispered after a few good moments. My eyes were looking at his full lips and back to his blue eyes I could sink into. If only I could let myself dive into them... My hand softly cupped his cheek. Naruto placed his hand on one of my sides. I've never known how to swim anyway, so why not just drown. The only thing that stops me is the fear of the unknown. Just one step closer. I closed my eyes. My lips a bit parted. Just a little closer. We don't need space. Space. It's just a word made up by someone who's afraid to get too close...

"Ahem!"

I turned the way the sound came from. Minato and Kushina Namikaze were standing in front of us.
