An Au where instead of simply starting the rumors or accepting them as the absolute truth, the other Peak Lords investigate the origin of the rumors about Shen Jiu.

What made them decide to do that? After Liu Qingge caught Shen Jiu at the Warm Red Pavillion, he was sent by his shizun to visit his family hoping it would make him come to senses but it wasn't working until a family member asked Qingge why he was sent home and he explained what happened to which the family member called him stupid as it was known that placeslike he Warm Red Pavillion were great to get informations and some people went there to simply appreciate the musical or poetry abilities of the girls.

This made Qingge stop and think for the first time in a very long time which lead him to question the madam of the Warm Red Pavillion what Shen Jiu did there(she informed him that he paid them for information and to sleep in one of their rooms and taught her grisl the 4 arts but didn't tell anything that obviously pointed to what happened to him in the past) and seeing how wrong he was, Qingge decided to ask Shang Qinghua what actually happened in the mission the three had together.

And this kept happening with the other future Peak Lords also looking for the truth when they were told about a rumor involving Shen Jiu but also lead toone of them deciding to for Shen Jiu's family(as they thought he was rich young master) and finding a oldlady that had worked for the Qius who told them about Shen Jiu's origin(he was their late madam's son who run away from her husband and the son of his concubine but the child became a slave and then ended in the Qius not so tender care were he was abused in multiple ways by the master and young master before a event triggered a qi deviation which ended with all men of the mansion dying).

How would this affect the rest of the story? Is up to the writer but I would like for oneof the peak lords to call out Yue Qingyuan because while they have no idea about his real relationship with Shen Jiu now they can notice that his way of acting is affecting Shen Jiu negatively so unless he comes clean about whatever happened, he should keep a distance from Shen Jiu.
