The Reveal

Three months had passed since Bluey started her period, and one day she accidentally brought up her tetherball blood incident in front of gossip queens, so that started again. Bluey noticed Mackenzie was good friends with most of the girls, and she became suspicious of him. Mackenzie became aware of her awareness and decided to tell her his secret after school. At school, Mackenzie slipped a note into Bluey's locker (yes they had lockers). Bluey saw the note and went to the cherry blossom tree after school. Mackenzie took a deep breath.

"Bluey, I'm sorry for keeping this secret from you, I just thought you wouldn't like me if I revealed it." Bluey was ready for him to confess his love for her, at least, that's what she thought he would do.

"I'm trans." Bluey's jaw dropped to the floor. "You're the only person I've told." It all made sense then to Bluey. The distancing, the respect for girls, the bestie love for her. He wanted to make a good first impression to the girls, and his friends thought they were gross.
