The Distraction

It was a month after Bluey got her period. She and Mackenzie had gotten closer, now being best friends. It was a little obvious Chloe was jealous Mackenzie replaced her as Bluey's bestie. Bluey learnt a lot of things about Mackenzie, like how he wrote Cat Squad fanfic on Pattwad. Also, it was a coincidence Mackenzie was Bluey's favorite fanfic author, since he kept his identity hidden on Pattwad. Of course, like any time a girl and boy become best friends, rumors about them dating will go around. Rusty, one of Mackenzie's friends, even bet they'd get married in the future. This was annoying, but it was a nice distraction from her period, which still made her suffer. One day, after school, Mackenzie and Bluey were hanging out in her room, playing Stardrop Valley on their swintendo nitches. Bluey noticed something.

"Hey, you chose the girl character instead of the boy one!" She pointed out.

"Well, the girls get more advantages in this game than boys!" He excused. Bluey didn't think any of it until the day after that. Mother Nature hated Bluey, and she hated her too. It was a Saturday, so she was thinking about something. Mackenzie started to distance himself away from his friends, Rusty, Jack, and Lucky. He also hung out with girls and respected them more. Bluey thought he thought his friends were embarrassing and he was trying to get a girlfriend. Oh boy, I really love how wrong she is! Uh, I mean, we'll find out if she's right!
