~Prussia POV~~Dream~

What's going on? Where am I? I looked around to see I was in a vast field. There were small patches of dandelions on the bright green grass swaying in the wind.It was warm out, but there was a slight breeze to give you the chills. The sun was out and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. All was quiet except for the occasional rustle of the grass. Where am I? I heard footsteps shuffling through the grass behind me. I spun around to become face-to-face with big purple eyes staring right at me. Startled I stepped back. Then I smiled realizing who it was. Birdie gave me a warm smile in return and gave me a hug. I stiffened at the sudden contact. This was unexpected. He stepped away and turned around and ran. I tried to call after him but no sound came out of my mouth. I took a step forward to begin to run after him. I was running at full speed but I didn't seem to be catching up with Birdie at all. The grass started to change into dirt and mud. The sun disappeared behind some dark clouds that seemed to come out of no where. It suddenly got really dark. I stopped running when I saw Birdie stop running. I grabbed his shoulder to spin him around. His face showed the expression of absolute fear. His eyes were wide and it looked like he was on the brink of tears. He looked pale and his eyes shifted to look behind me.I turned around.Big mistake.Kolkolkolkol.Standing in front of me was Russia with his metal pipe with blood on it."Stay away from my sunflower."Those words echoed in my head. Russia pushed me to the side and grabbed Canada. Birdie tried to resist, but was no match to Russia. I tried to lift my arms to help Canada, but my arms wouldn't move. My body couldn't move at all. Canada was looking at me with desperate eyes pleading for me to help. "Gilbert! Help me! Don't just stand there! Do something!"Russia ran off with mien Birdie. He stopped not to far away and dropped Canada to the ground and began to hit him with his pipe. I tried to scream but nothing came out. Just silence. My body wasn't listening to me at all. The only thing it did was fall to the ground in defeat. No I don't want to be defeated. It was no use. Russia was beating Canada right in front of me and there was nothing I could do.I wasn't able to help him.He needed me to protect him and I couldn't.The world was fading and all I could hear were Canada's screams and "Kolkolkolkol".

I woke up drenched in sweat screaming my head off. Canada rushed into my room in panic slamming open my door. "Gilbert! What's wrong? Are you ok?" He had such concern in his voice. "Ja, I'm fine. Just a nightmare. I'm ok." Relief washed over his face as he walked over to my bed. "Tell me about it?" He asked in a quiet innocent child-like voice. "No it's nothing to worry about. I don't really remember it anyways." I lied. I didn't want to worry him. Plus I don't even know if he remembers Russia. Maybe I should ask him. "Hey Birdie?" "Ya?" "Do you remember how you lost your memories at all?" "I somewhat remember being hit by a metal pipe, but that's about it. Everything is just a blur." "Ja, that's what I thought."I knew he wouldn't remember. We probably should go back to sleep. I don't want another nightmare like that though. I can deal with it though. I am awesome like that. "Go back to bed Birdie. In the morning we're gonna try to get some of your memories back." "Alright. Good night Gil." I smirked at the little nickname he gave me. Canada left the room and I snuggled back into my blankets and stared at the ceiling until sleep took over my mind again. This time without any distractions.
