Odin

17:10, 13 August 2021

After I finished eating my meal I left to head back to the castle. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to take the table and things back with me but I guessed since they were set here by the worker they would also come and gather it up.

I made my way to the castle, found the doorway, then got lost. To my defense this was only my second time going to my room and the first I had an escort. I knew I had to go up a flight of stairs, then down a hallway with a lot of doors. That wasn't really helpful, so I decided to just walk around and give myself a tour of the place.

I found a room with many seats, then a room with a table and a board with black and white squares and more seats. Another room had a brick hole in the wall with wood in it, surrounded by more chairs. Most of the rooms I found were just seating areas. But one I found took my attention, a room with a shelf full of books.

It must be the the library Loki was talking about. There was a wall full of books, chairs and long chairs spread around the room in a unorganized fashion. I walked to the room and straight over to the bookshelf. I started searching but they were in all Asgardian and I started getting a little disappointed. Of course an Asgardian library would be filled with Asgardian books.

I walked back out of the room and kept on my search. More boring rooms where people sit and talk. Some rooms I accidentally interrupted people, so I started knocking just in case before I entered a room.

I ended up walking to the biggest golden doors I have ever seen. I walked up and knocked before entering. It was a large room, empty except a large golden chair and a man in horns sitting in it.

I walked closer and the man sat up straighter. As I got closer he stood up and I finally recognize who it was, Loki. My nerves left and started walking faster to him. He had a nervous smile like something was on his mind.

"Hey Loki." I said when I got to the bottom of the stairs. "What are you doing up there?" I smile.

"Odin has fallen into Odinsleep. I am the King in his stead." He said pridefully. "Come." He motions for me to join him on top of the stairs.

"Are you sure? I don't think I am allowed."

"Nonsense I am King and I allow you." He smiled. I hesitantly walked up the stairs and took his raised gloved hand. "I am sorry I left so suddenly."

"It is ok. It's a shame you missed the hog." He chuckled.

"I can have hog anytime I want, darling." He squeeze my hand and smiled.

"Darling?" I raised a brow. He chuckled. "Do you call all the women that?"

"Only you." He led me back to the throne where he conjured a seat for me. He looked troubled.

"What are you thinking? You look conflicted." I sat down.

"I found out my true parentage." He said. "My Mother says I am Laufeys son." My breath stilled in my throat. I placed my hand on his sleeve, he looked at it, then at me. "I am the son of the worst of the Frost Giants."

"He isn't the worst." Loki looked at me with a 'really?' face. "Ok, he is." Loki chuckled. "That's great though."

"That I was born from a monster?" Loki asked.

"You are Laufeys son." Loki's brow lifted. "King of Jotunheim....." Loki chuckled at the realization.

"I am Prince of Jotunheim." I smile at him.

"What do you plan to do?" He tilts his head. "You are King. And I believe Laufey threatened for war. Also there is your brothers banishment." Loki went to speak...

"Allfather, we must speak with you urgently." The woman fighter and the rest walked to the throne with there arm crossed over there chest. They all stopped and stared when they saw Loki.

"My friends." Loki said in a deep voice. I went to move away but Loki grabbed my shoulder and kept me down.

"Where's Odin?" The man who was impaled spoke.

"Father has fallen into the Odinsleep. Mother fears he will never awaken again." The warriors walk up to us.

"We would speak with her." The woman spoke.

"She has refused to leave my Fathers bedside." They all look at me confused then back to Loki. "You can bring your urgent matter to me." Loki stands up intimidating. "Your King." They all slowly kneel to Loki.

"My King, we would ask that you end Thor's banishment." The woman asked.

"We are on the brink of war due to Thor's rash actions. Odin has banished him because of this, it was his final decree." Loki walked down the steps. "Thor will stay on Midgard until I have resolved the conflict. For the good of Asgard." The lady then abruptly stood, the men holding her back.

"Yes of course." The blonde haired man said while holding the woman's wrist.

"Good, then you will wait for my word." Loki said.

"If I may." The curly red haired man said. "Beg the indulgence of your majesty, to perhaps reconsider."

"We are done." Loki said. The warriors stood up then left. Loki walked back to the throne.

"What was that." I asked Loki as he sat down.

"What?" He asked confused.

"You acted like an ass." He furrowed his brows.

"Excuse me?" He sat up straight.

"I understand why you say Thor can't come back yet since he started the war. But the way you acted towards them. You made them look beneath you, that wasn't like you."

"Maybe it's my feral, primitive side showing." He growled. "They need to realize I am King and not Odin." He looked back towards the golden door and rested in his chair.

I stood up from my chair causing him to look at me. I walked down the stairs and turned to him. I knelt on one knee and crossed my arm like them. Loki sat back up in his chair with a gaped mouth.

"Yes my King." I stood up and walked away.

I walked back out of the room and found the warriors standing there like they knew I was coming out.

"Hello." I waved to them.

"Who are you?" The woman asked. "Why were you sitting next to him?"

"I am Nimue. He kind of lead me up there. You should remember me from the fight in Jotunheim." Realization formed in her eyes.

"Yes, you saved me." She smiled and I nodded. "How did you get there? Were you a prisoner? No, you have powers. You were trapped on Jotunheim somehow." She said.

"Sort of. Sorry but I know none of your names." I smile.

"Oh. Well I am Sif. This is Fandral, Volstagg, and Hogan. They are the warriors three and I am just me."

"Just you?" Fandral said.

"Sif you are the fiercest woman warrior I know." Volstagg.

"She's the only female warrior you know." Hogan said. They all laughed and Sif rolled her eyes.

"Are you friends with Loki? Or maybe more?" Sif asked.

"I just met him yesterday. But we have a sort of connection. I guess we are friends, I'm not sure." I say.

"Can you convince him to bring Thor back?" Sif hoped.

"I'm sorry. I don't know if I have that kind of leverage." Sif's smile falls. "But I will make sure he stays true to his word and brings Thor back when the Jotun situation is under control." She nods angrily and walks away. The warriors three follows.
