𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐩𝐨𝐯

Thursday morning and I hear my alarm blaring, I turn to my side to grab my phone and switch off the alarm before I see my door creaking open. Before I can register anything, I hear a voice,

"Quils, can I talk to you?"

"Arthur? What the fuck are you doing in my room."

"Please, I just need to talk to you and explain." At this point, Arthur's words were hushed and I was standing up straight staring at the brunette boy metres in front of me.

"No, what's there to explain? Not only did you disappear for hours when you shouldn't have left in the first place but then you lie to my face about where you were. AND THEN admit that you've lied to me again. So, when did you lie to me Arts, when?"

"I haven't lied, I was just frustrated and annoyed."

"No, you weren't you said it with a straight face."

"Just stop, please. Let me explain."

"I-I can't trust you Arthur."

"Li-"

"Aquilah, you don't get to call me that name anymore."

"Please, hear me out. I'm begging you." I couldn't look at the poor boy's face, because I know if I did, I would instantly melt and grab his face in my hand to squish it. I had to resist and fight for myself.

"I'm sorry Arthur but the way you spoke to me hurt. Whatever we had is done."

"No, please Quils, listen to me."

"I-I'm sorry, it's too much for me. Please leave my room."

"Okay, sorry Quils. We're heading out at 9am."

"'Kay, thanks Arthur." Once he left the room, I went into the bathroom and locked both sides before letting myself cry it all out. I was hurt, how could he do what he did yesterday and then come waltzing into my room early in the morning trying to apologise and go back to how things were. I couldn't handle it so I quickly showered and got dressed, take a selfie and put it up on instagram.

I quickly walked out of the bathroom, grabbed a handbag and made my way downstairs. I saw Chris and Simon eating breakfast in the kitchen so I quickly made a beeline to join them before Arthur could come down.

"Morning!"

"Can I please bash him today"

"No, he may have been an ass but no one needs to draw more attention."

"You're okay though right?"

"Yes Dobbs, I-I'm fine for now."

"Where did Dobbs come from?"

"He's Dobby's doppelgänger from Harry Potter!" Simon instantly cracks up and Chris' face just goes in his hands with a disappointed shake of his head.

"GUYS WE'RE HEADING OUT! UBERS ARE HERE!" the three of us quickly got up and went out the front, I didn't realise just how cold it would be though so I was instantly freezing, shaking and shivering. I guess I wasn't the only one who noticed how cold it was because I felt a jacket being placed on me. I smiled at the instant warmth it brought me but when I turned around to thank whoever it was, my smile dropped.

"Arthur, stop please. I can't keep doing this."

"You will freeze to death Quils, just wear it. We don't have to talk anymore if that's what you want."

"Don't go putting words in my mouth. You lied to me and are technically still lying because you haven't told me the truth about where you were and what you were doing. I just can't deal with all of it right now."

"I promise, there's a reason."

"I hope that it's good enough when you tell me."

"I'm sorry Quils, I'm so sorry." His face had guilt written all over it, I knew he was sorry, the second I told him we were done he knew he fucked it. But he was never going to tell me the truth so I had to just deal with the outcome.

"I know Artie, I know."

"Artie's a new name?"

"I can all you Arthur if you don't like it."

"No no, it's fine. I promise."

"Don't say that."

"Say what?" I knew it came from a good place but the last time he said that he promised, it was to never lose me. And he did, kind of?

"Don't give me false promises."

"It's not though. I'm not losing you right?"

"I-I don't know where we stand right now. I can't trust you fully and you are keeping a huge secret from me Arthur. We need to go before they yell at us again."

"Okay, I'll see you there."

"Mhmm." I turned around and walked into the first uber with Chris, Simon, Toby and Josh. Simon turns to me as I slide into the backseat.

"Do I have to bash him now?"

"Oh my gosh Simon! No, there will be no bashing okay, just leave it, it's fine for now." Chris decides to speak up at this exact moment,

"Is that why you've got on his puffer?" I look down at the jacket I had on, was this not the same one I wore to the dinner last night?

"I wore this last night, no?"

"Two days in a row you've worn Arthur's jacket, insane."

"Okay enough, let's move on from this conversation please!" the car ride was pretty silent afterwards, everyone was just getting some rest before we dealt with the busy day ahead.

When we arrived at Harry's house, the five of us got out of the uber and made our way to the front door. I open the door and made my way through the house easily whilst the four boys strangled along trying not to lose me. As I was entering the kitchen I heard a loud thud, when I turned around I laughed at the sight before me. All I see is Chris struggling underneath Simon who has Josh on his arm and Tobi is just standing there mouth open.

"Well, help me Aquilah! These two are heavy." Chris cries out,

"Ay, watch what you say goblin, I won't be in your next video."

"Okay fine, Josh is heavy and Simon is lanky as FUCK!" 

"Okay okay I'll help as best I can?"

"Thank you." Tobi helped Josh stand up and I pulled Simon up so that Chris could breathe properly and not be hidden by the two boys.

"Hurry up, my mum brought over some sandwiches and I don't want to not get my favourite because of you idiots."

"We're not idiots!"

"Says the gremlin who was at the bottom of the pile up." Tobi pipes up,

"Tobi!" The four of us start laughing as Chris is now in a huff and walks over to Chip to complain about us, except when he tells Chip, he also bursts out laughing and over to me and Tobi before high-fiving us both.

"No way Chris was at the bottom of the pile up!"

"Nah mate it was crazy!" Tobi comments and the two of them are making jokes before Chris shouts, 

"I CAN HEAR YOU BOTH!" the three of us burst into laughter again as we made our way to grab the sandwiches. Once I grab one I go upstairs to try and find Harry, hoping that he would be in his bedroom. To my luck he was, but he was on the phone to someone,

"I don't know what you want me to tell you mate! I know why you left now, but she doesn't know anything! I get that you don't want her getting hurt, trust me, I don't either. But lying to Quilah won't do you any good. Look just give her a break today and then maybe tomorrow talk to her yeah? Maybe take her to the pier or something? I gotta go, I'll see you when you get here." Why was Harry talking about me, who was he talking to and what does he mean I know nothing, what does he know?

"Haz? You alright?"

"FUCK! You scared me Quilah, what's up?"

"Just wanted to see if you needed help with anything else before we start filming."

"Uh- no I'm all set, once the other uber gets here we're giving them 10 minutes to get a snack and rest before everyone gets mic'd up and are given a run down of the day." 

"Are you seeking?"

"Yes, and no Quilah, I'm not letting you win purposefully okay."

"Dang it!" I made my way back downstairs after Harry tells me that some of the boys have their hiding spot ready so I should go and find one now so I'm not stressing. 

I head downstairs and I hear a lot more voices, upon entering the kitchen I see that Theo, Arthur, Danny and Ethan have arrived and now everyone was just chilling on the couches. I went over to grab another sandwich before joining Tobi on the couch. 

"Alright, we're gonna start mic'ing you all up so let's get Quilah and Tobi mic'd up first and then we'll do Chris and Simon after yeah?" I stand up and head over to James who starts mic'ing me up, I look to my right and see Kon mic'ing up Tobi,

"Excited Tobi?"

"Obviously, I already know where I'm hiding."

"Same! Twinnies!"

"Never say that again."

"Fine, where are you hiding?"

"As if I'll say that with the seeker in the house."

"He got you there Quilah."

"Oh shut it James before I push you in the hot tub and run you over with a go kart."

"There's go karts?"

"There's a hot tub!" Tobi and James responded at the same time and Kon only laughs before speaking up,

"Of course James only picked up the hot tub mention."

"What the- Kon!" The four of us are laughing and I just know we are in for a long shoot. Especially considering it's hide and seek and we have Tobi and myself here. I already knew where I was going to hide before we even got here, down in the back there's a path of trees. I was just gonna jump into that with a massive camo blanket that I brought with me, and lay down in there hoping for the best. 

I was fully aware that Harry was only going to be seeking for around two hours but I still knew that if he didn't find everyone after, he would make us all wait until he found them. And I was just about to be the reason we get back to the airbnb at 3am.

AUTHORS NOTE: a little bit more angst with arthur and aquilah before we get into some more juicy stuff!! i know in part two i said they would explore the spark and they did!! but it will come back to that don't worry, im making it reallyyyy long. anyways schools been a bum but im almost finished !!! 12 days till i graduate so excited 😆 love you all and thank you for reading and commenting and voting MWAHHHH
