I was laying in bed, my mind had gone blank and truth be told, I didn't know what I was doing. I felt helpless, I mean I let the boy whom I thought I was going somewhere with walk out on me to meet someone. We had literally just basically confessed to each other and now what, was it all for nothing? I hear a knock on my door but I can't be bothered to respond, it wasn't worth it right now. I just wanted to fall asleep and not deal with life. Whoever was at the door knocked again but with no response, there was the creaking sound of the door opening,

"Wats?"

"Simon, what are you doing here?"

"Chris told me you were upset, and how Arthur has something to do with it."

"It's stupid Simon."

"Well it's not if it has you this crazy depressed, I mean we have a whole ass pool and you are one of two people not jumping in it trying to drown someone."

"Whose the other?"

"The only person that isn't here who should be here."

"Oh."

"Come one Wats, have some fun. I know you're butt hurt right now but forget about him for just a bit."

"Okay, I'll come down in a bit. Can you see if we have any cinnamon scrolls."

"Bought some just for you, hiding in the top cabinet so no one else will eat them." He had the biggest grin on his face because he knew that he finally got me happy after who knows how long. He must've been waiting for this day since he met me when I was first going through a break up and was depressed. It had been Simon's mission to one day pull me out of a funk and I guess today was the day.

Simon left and I quickly changed into a swimsuit before heading downstairs and making a tiktok,

I shut my phone off and quickly head outside and jump in the pool, leaving all my tears and sad feelings inside as I enjoy myself. Obviously I try and drown both Harry and Chris because why not? I deserved to have some fun. I hop out of the pool after a while and am just lounging around in the kitchen when I hear the door open. Arthur comes through the door, coughing like a mad person and when he looks up, I see his face has paled and he looks sick.

"What the fuck Arthur! You said 20 minutes and you've been gone nearly 2 hours now. Do you know how worried I've been, how scared I was that you were going to fucking hurt yourself or get sick!"

"Didn't seem to worried to make a tiktok, jump in the pool and give a shitty reply to my comment."

"The fuck is your problem?"

"I don't have a problem, and I'm literally fine."

"No you're not, you look sick as a fucking horse even fucking JJ would be able to tell."

"Luckily you aren't JJ then right? I'm fine, I'm gonna go shower and head to sleep. Can't waste anymore of your time can I?"

"And where the fuck even were you though?"

"The shops."

"You're lying!"

"Well wouldn't be the first time then."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"That I've lied before? Are you dumb or something?"

"Fuck you, you're an ass." I walked right back outside and decided from this moment on that whatever Arthur and I had was over. We were no longer anything, just mutuals. I can't even call him a friend because a real friend would never pull that shit.

I pulled my phone out my pocket and dialled the number, I knew I shouldn't be going out but I was scared that if I didn't then things would get worse.

"Hello?"

"Arthur, I see you've come to your senses."

"It's not coming to my senses, it's you threatening me with my family and hurting Aquilah, so what do you need Katie."

"Meet me at insert name of coffee shop. Hurry up, I don't have much time"

"I'm coming, be patient."

"Watch your tone Arthur, I could do a lot of damage." I hung up the phone and walked to the coffee shop, I saw Katie sitting down in a booth and quickly made my way over.

"Hi Arthur."

"Make this quick, I can't be out too long."

"Hmmm, why's that."

"Personal reasons that you don't need to know about. Now can we hurry this up! Why am I here?"

"Simple, I want you to leave Aquilah alone."

"What?"

"She's a horrid girl really, was so nasty to me and basically ruined my relationship. She was a home wrecker."

"I don't believe you."

"I thought you might say that so I brought in a trusty ol' friend of yours."

"Who?"

"What are you doing in Guernsey Ember?"

"Well I was supposed to have an acting gig here but that's not till next week, Katie called me and said she saw you so I grabbed the first flight back! You know I've been talking to your mum, she misses me."

"Yeah, well I don't so I don't know what the fuck you two have tried to plan but it isn't going to work."

"Oh Arthur, how innocent you are. Thinking that you're in control and that you know what's best. Silly boy, you are only a pawn."

"No, leave me alone. I'm leaving."

"Arthur you walk out that door and I'll have paps down here in seconds photographing you with Katie and I here." I knew right then that I couldn't leave so I reluctantly sat back down into the booth, listening to them both go on about themselves before they finally told me why I was here.

"So Arthur!"

"Yeah Katie?"

"I brought you here because, Aquilah isn't who you think she is."

"What do you mean."

"Arts, she's horrible. You know she sent me mean messages a few months back."

"What?" Ember showed me her phone and I saw some nasty messages from Aquilah's account, before noticing that her account wasn't verified.

"Nice try, she's verified."

"Ugh, well just don't go near her!"

"Or what Ember?"

"Your mum invited me to the wedding so I'll be there, not too sure about her. So if you want to keep your family happy, I suggest that we go together and you don't bring a slag. Wouldn't want to disappoint your father again do you? And if you do, I'll tell your parents about how horrible she is and she'll be kicked out."

"Fine, just leave her alone! You two need to fuck off and leave her alone, I will too. Just stay out of our lives. And just so you know Ember, my sister has you blacklisted because you cheated on me, I never told my parents because they're close with your own family and I didn't want you thrown out. I'm a fucking decent human unlike you both."

"Are you fucking serious Art-"

"Katie, never speak to me again, you've done enough damage to Harry and you really hurt Aquilah so leave us all alone! Or I'll press charges on you both." I got up and left the coffee shop, quickly running back to the airbnb so no paps or fans could see me. I knew what I was about to dow as wrong but I just couldn't let those two snakes hurt Aquilah more.

I also knew that everything we worked so hard to build would be gone in a second. It would be impossible to get Aquilah back once I 'let her go'.
