1 - I want him Back

Kyeomie pov.

"Dude what are you doing yet again??" asked my beloved seatmate.

"You know what I'll say and I know you'll get annoyed again so I'll respectfully answer you with a lie. here it goes.." I said while inhaling deeply to prepare my well prepared line.

"Oh this? it's nothing at all. Just doing some scrapbooking." I said sarcastically and I just saw Hoshi rolled his eyes to the back of his head. I know I'm annoying him already.

"You know, he's never gonna read those anyway. Plussss how many paper and time are you going to waste just to get him to notice you. Honestly dude it's getting borderline creepy. I mean your phone is full of his face already." Hoshi said.

"You knew this when you decide to befriend me" I said to him with a smile.

"One, I had no choice, our parents are basically sisters. Second, this is definitely not what I was signing for And now I'm stuck with you" He said.

This is my best friend in the whole wild world. His name is Hoshi And yes I meant to say wild world because as crazy as it sounds he actually believes that he's a tiger. And he's not talking about his past life no, not a chance, he actually is a tiger in this life, well that's according to him himself.

"Crush alert! he's walking inside in 10 seconds." He suddenly whispered half shouted at my ear. I swatted him away from me and he just laughed at me. Seriously even if he doesn't say it I know at exactly 7:28 am he's entering the room.

As the number one person that knows Joshua. He is always on time, very consistent. He can never do anything that can surprise me. I know his every schedule and he follows them religiously. I might seem like a stalker now but really I just admire the man. Class president, Never been sent to the Office for violating any rule. In fact he has never made a mistake as long a I have known him. He is the only one that I can trust to be constant in my life. My perfect gentleman crush.

"Everyone may I have your attention please." He suddenly said as he stood up in the front as soon as he entered the room.

"You can have every inch of my attention Mr. President" I whispered to myself but apparently Hoshi heard it clearly because I could see him cringe and pushed me a little.

"Dude you're sick" Hoshi said while shaking his head disapprovingly.

"I know everyone has already heard the news of Ms. Uni having her Maternal leave starting today. The office has instructed me to deliver this message and introduce our new Teacher for the remaining of our Semester... Let's all welcome and greet Mr. Hao." He said and here comes a black haired man with the height of a super model. Everyone stood up and offered our greetings. I can hear little murmurs from the girls in our class because of Mr. Hao.

"He's really handsome" I commented and Hoshi looked at me disapprovingly again.

"Dude pick a lane!" he said.

"I just complimented our teacher. I'm still loyal to my husband." I said and Hoshi looked like he regret making any comments.

"Thank You Mr. Hong. You have a really dependable Class President here class." Mr Hao jokingly said and Joshua just nodded his head to acknowledge him.

"I'll be your homeroom teacher starting this day. Please be good to me." He said again with a little bit of smile. He gave us a little introduction and we introduced ourselves to him as well. He was really good, pretty experienced and calm as well. I like that about him but I had the sense that he was not fond of my bestie here. He keeps on disregarding Hoshi's attempt to introducing himself as a tiger... which I kind of understand but still.

"He's doesn't like me does he?" Hoshi said as he slumped down his seat.

"Just keep the tiger talk down a little. I think he's just not used to you." I told him trying to cheer him up then all of a sudden the man of my dreams passed by to give us our pamphlets about the school festival.

"Please do me a favor of handing this out to our classmates." he told me with the most monotone voice and expression ever. But somehow in my brain he said it with a smile as he is looking at my eyes lovingly.

"No problem crush." I said while getting the papers out of his hands while obviously brushing his hands with mine just to touch him. He definitely noticed this but didn't really commented on it.

"Seriously dude.." Hoshi said while his head was still slump down the table.

"Please just call me by my name thank you." Joshua said and then left. He's not rude he's just really really straightforward. That's why I admire him so much.

"Sure thing Joshi." I said ang Hoshi just looked at me again.

"I'm just shocked at your bravery at this point" He commented and then went out to grab some snacks. I just continued looking at my future husband as he talks to his officers about something serious if I can guess. How can he look so cute and handsome at the same time. it's literally impossible to be perfect but he is.

Few hours later.... (at the canteen)

"I really like our new teacher. He's very funny but he doesn't know it. I like him a lot. " Cheol said to all of us as we were sitting in our lunch table. With me are Hoshi my bestie, Cheol the football captain, Hannie the captain of the swimming team and Wonu our silent casanova.

"You're weird." Hannie jokingly said to Cheol.

"If this is weird, what do you call that?" I heard him say as he pointed at me. I was currently looking at Joshua's table and how he eats. He really is really a man with manners of a prince.

"I'm perfectly fine looking at my husband from a far." I said while smiling directly at him. Then suddenly our eyes met as he was eating some of his food. He immediately bowed to acknowledge me but in a really awkward way.

"Uhmm Kyeomi your food is getting cold." Hoshi commented. Then I suddenly stood up, Hoshi who was about to get some potatoes from my plate was shocked as well as all the people in the table.

"I think today is the day!" I suddenly said. I was expecting for a cheer or something but Then I get no reaction what so ever.

"Dude don't do it." Hannie said as he helped me sit down by holding on to my shoulder and putting pressure so that I sit back down.

"Yeah, your just wasting your time and it's going to be awkward again. Please don't do this again." Cheol said as he helped Hannie convince me.

"But I think it's a really perfect day to confess once again. After all this is the 50th time and 50th time to confess is the charm. He's finally gonna accept my feelings" I said with conviction but my friends are definitely not on board.

"You said that the last time, and your so weird for counting, Wonu care to chime in?" Hoshi said to help me change my mind.

"Let him be, it's his funeral" Wonu said nonchalantly. I giggled at Wonu because he's just very calm like that.

"Please do it in private this time, I don't want another second hand embarrassment in here. Your confession with the cheering team was the cringiest of all. I just wish I had never seen that." Cheol said.

"It stays with you too. It's stamped into my mind forever" Hoshi commented. I just rolled my eyes at them and giggled a little.

"Don't worry guys. I'm gonna be really private this time. I made him this letter and I poured my heart and soul into this." I said confidently and they just looked at me like I am about to do the biggest mistake of my life.

-Later that day-

"Joshua... can I have a minute?" I finally had the courage to ask.

"Sure? What seems to be the problem?" He asked me with concern. I almost had a heart attack as he looked at me like that. This is exactly why I like this man so much.

"Nothing really. I just wanna give you this. You can read it now if you want." I said as I handed my letter to him. He smiled and then looked at me. I was sweating my ass off and my friends are just sitting across me and Joshua hoping I don't fuck it up this time.

"Thank you. I'll read it later." he said as he put my letter in his bag. Honestly, I was a little disappointed that he didn't read it right away but didn't let it bother me. I gave my friends a thumbs up from afar and they all gave me a very awkward one to reciprocate.

Next thing to do is wait.. wait for his answer but I never got one. Because my perfect crush has disappeared from my sight. No trace or clue where he is.

He was gone the next day... And the day after... And the day after....

3 days later.... (after Joshua's sudden disappearance.)

"I'm seriously going mad!" I shouted in the middle of the silence. All of us are currently hanging out in a park because our teacher told us to reflect on nature and so we did. The only problem about this activity is that it gives too much power and freedom for the students.

"Kyeomie stop being noisy and meditate." Wonu suddenly said as he continued closing his eyes and breathing slowly. He really is into this activity surprisingly.

"But Hoshiiiii He hasn't been in school for a total of 3 days! do you think he's sick? but he never gets sick what is happening???" I complained. That's right, Joshua hasn't been in school after the day I gave him my letter. It's very shocking because that guy never skips school, if he does he says he is in advance. But now I don't know, even the teacher's have no idea.

"Dude he's human too. He can get sick. He probably is though... Wonu did mention seeing him running through the rain 3 nights ago." Hoshi said and my eyes opened as if it was gonna come out of its socket.

"And you didn't EVEN TELL ME THis?!?!?" I said in shock. I mean what kind of friend are them? Should i just cut them off?

"It didn't seem important. I mean its normal to see him sometimes." Wonu said in defense.

"Ahhhhhh! He must be really sick. Omygod should I visit him in his dorm? Do I even have the right? Or maybe give it a little bit more of time? But it's already a lot of time... should I do it? Maybe not.. he's gonna reject me again.." i started rambling.

"Dude you're saying your thoughts out loud and it's disturbing a lot of our classmates" Hannie said as he covered my mouth with his hands.

"Op sorry... but what are you doing? Hoshi?" I asked as I noticed Hoshi walking away from me and visibly trying to get away.

"Pretending not to know you." He said and I takled him to the ground. He's being a bully again.

"Guys stop that. You guys are embarrassing." Cheol said as tried to stop both Hoshi and I from tackling each other.

"Whatever dad" Hoshi said to Cheol which visible made him mad and tackled Hoshi too. Jeonghan was laughing at the three of us as we tackled each other on the grass. Eventually people started noticing the commotion and we made a little bit of an audience.

Then all of a sudden a familiar voice stopped all of us.

"I'm sorry Mr Hao. I had an emergency, can I join your class?" The one and only husband of mine said.

"Sure dear. Find a spot and meditate." He said. I was beyond happy seeing Joshua finally. My smile grew 500X if that's even possible.

"Joshi! You can meditate with me!" I shouted despite the disapproval of my friends. I can hear them and see them covering their eyes and ears because of embarrassment. But then that expression was all washed away when we heard what Joshua said.

"Sure thing.. I'll be right there" he said proudly with a smile. I was as equally shocked as everyone. Did he actually said yes to me this time?

(During a field trip... in 3rd grade.)

"Hey Josh! Wanna be roommates?" I asked. "No thanks I prefer to sleep alone, my mom is a little strict..thank you anyway. Next time.." he said respectfully and I just smiled.

(Playing at the Laser Tag in 6th Grade)

"Joshuaaaa... let's be teammates! I have a very secret place to hide just the two of us." I said. "I'm good.. these guys already got one. Thank you anywayyy." He said with a smile yet again.

(Birthday in 2nd Year)

"Joshua? Can I have a hug as a birthday gift?" I asked purely just joking because by this time everyone has already known about my crush on him."My friend Mingi loves hugs. He can hug you here.." he said as he pushed Mingi in front of me.

(Golf Activity in Junior high)

"Joshiiii Can we play together? I have no idea what I'm doing and you seem so good at it." I asked."Oh right timing. I just taught Sarah how to play.. he can teach you instead. Is that alright?" He asked and there he was smiling at me again.

(Recently)

"I just wanna give you this. You can read it now if you want." I said as I handed my letter to him. He smiled and then looked at me."Thank you. I'll read it later." he said as he put my letter in his bag.

Countless of tries have been made And these pattern continued throughout our lives...

until today...

"Sorry did I just heard wrong. Cause it sounded like you said yes to this psycho." Hoshi said and I just glared at him. Isn't he supposed to be supportive of me?

"Uhmm.. yeah, is there any problem?" He asked innocently.

"Really? Wait am I dreaming? Quick Wonu slap me." I said and then Wonu suddenly slapped me really hard and I was even more shocked that this was not a dream rather than how Wonu was too fast to follow my instructions without question.

Then Joshua did a little jog towards us. Even my girl counterpart who's inlove with Joshua was shocked.

"Hi guys! It's been a while huh." He said as he gave each one of us some high-fives and handshakes as if we normally do this but we do not. This is definitely a first. The moment he knew about my big fat crush on him he was very careful around me and I preferred that. This was a little too overwhelming to me and I just stood there.

"Uhmmm Joshua you have a little hair sticking out at the back of your head." Wonu commented. He got flustered and then fixed his hair with his hands. That was careless of him.. he always had perfect lookss.. what in the world?

"Sorry about that. I woke up late and didn't have time to fix my hair." He said and I looked at him with confusion this time. He noticed it right away and walked towards me.

"Is there anything wrong? You look a little weird. Are you sick by any chance" he asked as he suddenly raised his hands to feel my forehead.

"Did he just..." Hoshi said in disbelief.

"No way.." Jeonghannie said.

"Did he fell and hit his head?" Cheol asked in confusion.

I on the other hand was shocked. I can't even say or do anything. I just stood there still trying to process everything that was happening. He then did something I was definitely not ready to do.

He placed his forehead against his hands. Our faces were not inches away from each other. My eyes were as wide as a beach ball now. I could hear everyone gasped.

"You're not that feverish but you're a little hot. Do you wanna go to the clinic?" He said as he finished checking my temperature. My face was a tomato at this point. I mean I imagined all of these in my head but it's definitely different when In real life.

"Uhmm.. I.." I said stuttering my words because apparently I can't even say anything at this point. And yes I was hot.. my face was burning as if it was gonna explode.

Then I felt Hoshi beside me.

"Dude you're malfunctioning. He's asking you a question." He whispered at me. I just stood there as Joshua waited for my answer but I couldn't make even one sound.

"You know what? We are going to take him to the clinic instead." Wonu said as he dragged me with Hoshi and Jeonghan. Joshua looked confused but not as confused as I am with him.

When we arrived at the clinic... they sat me down and I looked at them.

"Dude.. we had to get you out. It's really embarrassing." Wonu said explaining why he dragged me here.

"I think Joshua broke him." Hoshi joked and I just looked at him.

"That was not..." I managed to say.

"Huh?" Jeonghan asked.

"That was not Joshua." I said to them.

"What are you talking about? We all saw him and he touched you. How can he not be real?" Hoshi said.

"He does seem a little OFF." Wonu said.

"OFF?!?? HE's A TOTALLY DIFFERENT PERSON! That was not my long time husband/crush/ love of my life" I said to them and Hoshi rolled his eyes.

"Dude you're overthinking. He's the same. He was just a little more friendly." Hoshi added.

"No it's not him. I'm sure." i said to them with conviction.

" Dude just because he gave you attention this time doesn't mean he's a different person." Wonu said.

"He is! I know it! I don't like it like this." I said and they all looked at me in confusion.

"You chase him all your life trying to get his attention and now that he gives it you think he's an alien or some shit. Are you freaking kidding me Kyeom." Hoshi said.

"I know! But it's not him.!!!" I added. I'm sure there is some kind of explanation about this but I'm sure it's not him.

"You're crazy." Wonu said and then all of a sudden the door of the clinic opened. And there was Joshua.

"Is he alright? He looked really out of it earlier. I was wondering was it something I did?" He asked and as soon as he was there I stopped talking again.

"He's fine. Just a little shaken up." Wonu said.

"Oh... that's great. I was worried he was sick or something." Joshua said and we all just looked at him. Isn't he obviously a different person? And this is probably the longest he has cared about my existence ever.

"Yeah.. he just needs a little sleep." Hoshi added.

"Alright then... here's my number. Call me if anything happens." He said as he gave Hoshi his card and walked out the room.

"Okey.. now it's weird. He gave you his number." Hoshi said.

"SEEE?!? I just told you guys!" I said.

"You're all overthinking it. Just be glad you have his phone number now. Remember you telling us that it was the most valuable information about him and he doesn't normally give out his phone number to anyone." Jeonghan said as he gave me the card.

"Use it well. And don't be weird." Wonu said as I held the card in my hand. This is definitely different than most of my daydreaming.

"Are you alright now?" Asked Wonu. I nodded but I was still shocked to my core. Then Wonu and Jeonghan went back to class leaving me and Hoshi at the clinic.

Then Hoshi looked at me waiting for me to say something.

"Dude you're the one freaking me out now. You're too silent. It's creepy." He said and I looked at him.

"I want my crush back!!" I complained.

"Dude he's back.. you're just overthinking!" He said.

"NO I KNOW HE's NOT JOSHUA. He can't be." I said and then Hoshi just shook his head.

"He just had a change of heart. Then who else can he be?!?" He asked.

"I don't know." I answered. I just knew it was not him. This is way too suspicious.
