Chapter 41

Simon: Oi Kaylee wake up!

Simon shouts from outside the door. I grunt and turn around to face the window but the sun just blinded me in the eyes. The door opens and I don't hear any movement so I guess he was just looking at me.

Simon: I know you're awake.

I just moan and turn around to face him. I pull my covers more towards me because it was cold and I was just in my underwear. He just stands there still looking at me.

Me: Whattttt?

Simon: We're going to Ethans. You coming or not?

Me: Fine let me get dressed.

Simon nods and still stands there but now on his phone.

Me: Erm excuse me.

Simon: Oh shit yeah sorry.

He walks out and chuckles to himself. I eventually get up and get dressed. I put on a simple black T-shirt with some black cargo trousers and a green Billie Eilish beanie.

I put on the boots I wore for the party and headed downstairs to be greeted by Simon who had a smile on his face.

Me: What you smiling at?

Simon: You've gone for a complete different change in outfits.

Me: And what. I think I look good in it thank you very much.

Simon: Yes you do. Now are you ready or what?

Me: Yeah I'm ready. Where are the other boys?

Simon: They said they'll meet us there.

We walk out the front door and to Simon's car. He starts to drive off so I put some music on.

A while later I realise we are in the complete different direction to Ethans and I was getting quite confused.

Me: Simon where are we going?

Simon: Oh we're meeting the guys somewhere else. Quick change in plan.

I just sit back and look out the window. Sooner or later I realise we've stopped at Nando's and I get confused. Simon gets out the car and over to the passengers side and opens the door for me. I unbuckle my seatbelt and step out the car.

Me: Why are we at Nando's?

Simon: You'll see.

We walk over to the doors and walk in to see the guys + Charlie and the 2 Cals sat at a table with balloons. As soon as they see us they begin to cheer "congrats on finishing your GCSES".

Me: Guys you didn't have to do all this.

JJ: Oh this is low-key. Simon wanted to go full out and take you to a fancy restaurant.

I look at Simon and he goes a little red in the face. I take the last seat that was by Charlie and Simon and me and all the lads start to talk.

Callux: You've had a change since I last saw you Kaylee.

Me: Jeez what's the big deal about a little change in clothes?

Callux: Well if you let me finish I was gonna say it looks nice but not anymore.

I laugh which makes the whole table laugh. We ordered out food and started talking a bit more.

Somehow we got onto the subject of girls and they guys were talking about who they like.

Harry: Well I've actually been dating this girl for a while now. I know I've told Kaylee but non of you guys.

Josh: Wait what. Really? Harry out of anyone.

Harry: I know it's hard to believe. Shes really pretty and nice. I think you guys will like her.

Ethan: I bet we will.

Harry: Anyways Kaylee have you got your eyes on any girls?

Me: Nah I'm not really that type of person to be honest.

Calfreezy: Yeah but if you saw a nice fit lady walk in and she was gay you wouldn't shag her?

Me: I don't know. Maybe if it was a threesome then yeah but not individually.

JJ: Oooo now we're talking.

Me: What's your guys obsession with lesbians anyways?

Most of the boys just talk to themselves and say it's sexy or it turns them on.

Me: Well maybe one lucky guy might get me in a threesome with some girl then.

They all laugh and joke about it. Our food comes out and we all tuck in enjoying it.

We get outside of Nando's and instead of going back to the car, the boys decided to go somewhere else. We walked for a while until they stopped at a nightclub.

Charlie: Who's ready for a few drinks then?

We all cheer and walk in. We all go over to the bar and order a round of shots.

A few drinks later and a few of us were off the rails, especially me. Tobi and Simon were boring and stayed sober which sucked so I just partied with everyone else.

I was dancing like mad and jumping too much so I eventually felt the urge to be sick. I ran to the bathroom and into one of the stalls and threw up. As I was being sick a group of 3 girls came in and noticed me hung over the toilet.

Girl 1: Aww are you okay hun?

Girl 2: Where are your friends?

I stop being sick and whip my mouth.

Me: They're all boys so they ain't allowed in.

Girl 3: I don't think we would have minded. We could all do with some dick to be honest.

Me: Well they could all do with some pussy. They're going crazy without it. Anyways I'm Kaylee.

Girl 2: This is Emma, Charlotte and I'm Megan.

I stand up and walk over to the mirror. I fix my beanie on my head to cover the fact that I'm bald.

Emma: So are you going to introduce us to your friends then?

Me: If you want to. I'd just warn you now they've had a few too much to drink.

Charlotte: A bit like you then by the sounds of it.

We giggle and walk out the toilets. I take them over to where the boys are and introduced them all. Charlotte made her way over to Callux and Megan went over to Ethan. What kinda hurt though was that Emma went over to Simon and started flirting with him.

It was non of my business so I sat down at a table and just watched everyone. A few minutes later and Charlie comes over and holds his hand out for me to take which I do.

Charlie: Come on, we need to dance!

Me: I'm not in the mood Charlie.

Charlie: But this is my favourite song.

Me: Okay I'll dance a little bit then I'm going to call an Uber and go home.

Charlie: Don't be boring Kay. I'll show you my sexiest dance moves if you stay.

Me: Okayyyy fineeee.

We go over to the dance floor and he starts dancing like a freak and starts to rub his own body. It was funny to just watch him humiliate himself. I happened to glance over at Simon and see him making out with Emma.

I did not like it at all so I ran out of the club. I ran out with tears falling down my face smudging my makeup. I slide down the wall and sit on the floor until Charlie runs over and sits down next to me. I love Charlie, he's always there when I need him and he's not trying to get into my pants.

Charlie: I didn't know my dance moves were that bad.

He said which made me chuckle.

Charlie: What happened in there?

Me: Fucking Simon happened. He knows I fucking like him Charlie he knows. Or I hope he does. And then he goes and kisses that random girl. For fucks sake I wouldn't have minded as much if he was drunk but all he has drunk is water. Why the fuck does everything go wrong with me?

He wraps his arm around me and I fall back onto him.

Charlie: We dont always get what we want Kay. I thought I had the best girlfriend in the world but I couldn't see how toxic she was. And I keep telling myself that I don't need her but my brain can't let go of the fact that I still love her. Life just fucks you up sometimes. For some not so many but for you a shit load. We just need to keep each other's backs okay.

He was right. As long as we had each other's backs we will get through anything. Even though we haven't know each other for long this has been the best friendship I've had with someone.
